I say this with all due respect: Good luck. Boycotting is done out of convenience and not sacrifice by millions and millions of people. Yeah, so here's the balance (maybe): harsh punishments for those who are proven to fabricate the story, vs. lighter punishments for people who come forward and confess.

So, in my eyes that sets a dangerous precedent. Yes, there should be a debt to society that needs to be repaid if someone does this to another person and is caught. But the precedent is that if we regularly sentence people who falsify a rape claim to a very long time in jail, it may make others very hesitant to come forward if the person they're going against has a much stronger legal team.
