How is it fair you ask? Well, it’s not. But that’s how divorce works. And a judge will not care how she treated you or disrespected you during the marriage. All they care about is the math in dividing assets.

Pennsylvania 50/50 custody of 2 kids Both make over six figures, with me making about $50k more than her. I pay $1,362/month. And that’s with a 20% discount because I have 50/50. PA is the worst. No alimony, I cover the health insurance (nothing out of pocket - employer paid), and claim 1 kid on taxes.

I'm 12 months out from separation and received the final divorce decree in the mail a few weeks ago. I didn't want this either. 9 years together and 2 kids.
