You mention a gender bias in peoples thought patterns that makes objective studies invalid. Well why don't you turn that logic back on yourself. Maybe your point of view is biased to find that women are oppressed in every situation to the extent that you can with out doing any research disregard every study that says women are not oppressed because of the flimsy excuse that society is biased and real facts don't exist.

The system is basically saying that women don't need to be responsible for their choices and that they should get everything they ask for.

And 70% of divorces are initiated by women.

Would this even be able to be seen by any one in that subreddit? Don't they ban dissenters?

Come on don't be that unfair, that is a human trait not a gender specific trait.

Well she could resent having to "settle" for him.

I feel the same way. I don't know what my life is worth if I can't fall in love and have children. I know I can contribute to society, but it just doesn't feel the same. I want so badly to do both, but the risk is too high. Women now all say, "Where have all the good men gone," and I don't know what they mean by that. I think I am a good man, I am nice, I work hard, and I would care for her to the best of my ability. But if one day I falter in this and become selfish even a little bit I am no lo…

I am just preparing myself to become a grass eating male. Flesh lights feel pretty good, and I can use friendship to fill the void of a relationship.

Thanks, didn't know that. As for entrapment pregnancy I can only say that I am fairly young, and I have not had the chance to become as jaded as I know some members of this subreddit are. That being said I have been given the gift of cognition and I will use your horrible experiences to inform my actions in the future. Hopefully an un-Jaded point of view can be as useful as a jaded one in this cause. I also hope that my presence indicates that the message is getting out that there is actually a …

Oh no I was really worried about this happening I thought I made the link the right way. My conversation with Verdegrrl was not the conversation I was mentioning. The conversation I was mentioning was with MrRhinos this persons comments got down voted to oblivion and beyond. I do like your point about women being the only ones to have the choice to change their mind about pregnancy and your point about the amount of contraceptives thank you for contributing. I think verdegrrl was truly just tryi…

Yeah that is what I thought, but to be UN-persumptive we can't assume this person is a woman. I think the most telling sign that this person was not using logic is when they responded to my response and said that I was using the "ad hominem fallacy fallacy" and that things are said for a reason. In this case I think the thing this person said was said so that and argument could won by appealing to emotion.

I want to be clear, I am looking for holes in my logic am I missing something like this person claims. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT THE CONVERSATION I WAS REFERENCING WAS THE ONE BETWEEN ME AND MRRHINOS, http://www.reddit.com/user/MrRhinos.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
