It’s an initialism for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ! Another online multiplayer game for autists 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ohhhhh, yep. This checks out with a LOT of my lived experience prior to meeting Mr. Right, and a lot of what my gynaecologist hinted at before I changed from the pill to an IUD. Smell is a big one, as is finding less masculine men more attractive. I didn’t know the specifics of it, so I’m grateful to you, Girl, for giving us the research here. I went into what I now realise was “nun mode” following my cessation of the pill, insertion of an IUD, and (subsequent?) ending of my last relationship. W…

Is this the same man who demanded that you record sexual footage in order for him to “trust” you more? This relationship does not sound healthy or sustainable in the long-term. If him following this girl is a deal breaker, then stand firm in your decision. He didn’t honour the agreement you set. It’s up to YOU how you respond to that.

After reading this post and your responses to comments, I think the only suitable advice here is to please seek some therapy. Your partner is not an emotional dumping ground. He sounds like a Good man, from what you’ve said, who wants to help you - why not help him by helping yourself? There’s something here that you need to discuss with a professional. You seem incredibly stressed over situations from childhood that you can no longer change. I’m all for controlling what you can control, and tak…

Thank you so much, Sunshine! It feels good to feel good; I’m looking forward to sharing life with him 🥰

This is a post highlighting what not to do, viewed through the lens of a story. It’s actually quite helpful and eye-opening.

Something that’s struck me like a bolt of lightning, recently, is that people can’t read your mind. This also extends to the men we love! He had no idea what would make me feel closer to him. Between a demanding job, family expectations, and just trying to provide the best possible food & shelter for us - where does that leave time to assume that I wanted a date night? What if I didn’t, or didn’t want to dress up - how awful would he feel after that? Of course I asked. Of course I had to ask - i…

Thank you very much 💖 This is the result of weeks spent heavily focusing on communication and appreciation - it’s taken work, not just luck 🥰 I inspired him by asking! I sat him down when we both had time and said “Look, honey, I would love to feel closer to you. I know we’ve both been very busy, but it would make me so happy if you’d plan something for the two of us.” He took to that like a duck to water! He loved hearing what I felt, rather than what I thought was “best” to do. In RPW terms, I…

Thank you for asking this! I appreciate the opportunity for reflection. I didn’t grow up with a healthy understanding of how women should treat men. My grandad was the best male role model I’ve had to this day, but very easy-going (sometimes to a fault) and reticent to cause “confrontation”. I was also homeschooled by my jaded single Mother until 13, which didn’t help at all! Had some hardcore trauma from the ages of 10-17, too, at the hands of a male family acquaintance. All this to say I appro…

Before RP, and specifically before RPW, I struggled a lot with understanding why the mix of Alpha and Beta traits was so intrinsic to finding “the right guy”. I would meet men who were so attractive to me, but was deeply aware that marriage and babies weren’t on the table. I’d then delve into a sweet relationship with a sweet man, only to find he lacked drive or initiative. I oscillated between feeling powerless and feeling hypermasculine, and could never understand why I was so unhappy. I commi…

Thank you so much for posting this question. It’s brought a lot of gratitude into my day! I agree with the other posters - I wouldn’t call the gratitude or appreciation I feel about being a woman pride, necessarily. That being said, by goodness I love being one! I love caring for people. I love being a soft place for children and animals. I love performing femininity to its full extent in the way only a woman can. I love taking pride in my appearance, and being praised for it. I love being value…

Similarly, congratulations to you for your degree and pursuit of medicine! I know that’s a tough field ❤️ I really needed to hear this - thank you so much! Considering this degree “insurance”, and also feeling comfortable letting it make me happy in a different way… I think I can do that. All of these comments have encouraged me to just shift my perspective a little, and that’s helped a lot. Seeing it as something I do as well as homemaking, rather than a zero sum game of “you can be a student O…

Oh my goodness.. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I feel far less alone! I’m so sorry that happened to your business. Putting the work into making something like that thrive only to have it taken down by forces outside of your control must have truly been hard. Of course you grieved! It makes me so happy to hear about how you feel similarly to me, though. This is a dream I’ve had since I was little - my caregivers would ask what I wanted to do with “all my smarts” and my answer was…

I’m very, very lucky to be living in Australia - our tertiary education system means you take out “loans” that you only ever have to start paying back once you earn a yearly income over a certain amount. I’m only in my first semester right now; so still learning ~everything~. I think it might be something that I keep a foot in - doing part-time study while earning some money to start a home, or part-time while doing the homemaking. That way I’m still pushing forwards, but not over-committing or …

This really helped. Thank you. “Responsibility is where you learn to trust yourself with things and achieve them” - I needed to remind myself of this. You’re absolutely right, it would be a great achievement to commit to getting this degree done. Showing myself (as well as the people in my life and future generations) that I’m capable of this level of discipline & drive would be an amazing boon to my life.

It’s a Bachelor of Business! I dabbled for a few years in an Arts degree, then took time off to care for my Mother and get my mental state in better order. I’ve just turned 24, and am reassessing a lot of my past beliefs and life goals. I can see the benefits of a Business education down the track, but just the thought of getting there exhausts me! In some ways it’s “just” 4 years, but in others it’s time that could be spent building a home and nurturing the people around me (and myself). I have…

You’re the second person recently to recommend this book to me! I’ve subsequently downloaded it and am eager to delve in. Thank you for this.

Woah, that’s quite a bit of money! I respect your desire to help the man you love. It’s admirable, and completely understandable. However: has he asked for your help? Does he even know this program exists, or would you be surprising him with it? I can’t imagine my partner taking it well if I basically said: “Hey look honey - I don’t think you’re capable of managing yourself, so I’ve taken the lead to fund something that I think would make you Better”. He’d feel emasculated, and even if he undert…

That’s deeply inspiring, thank you for reminding me! I’m so excited to have a presence here, now, so I can really get answers to my questions and share discourse with like-minded humans. It’s been an uphill battle getting to even this rocky ledge of self-acceptance, but I’m looking forward to the future! I think being kind to myself and truly honouring my long-repressed desires can only lead to goodness 🥰
