I saw this when I moved to Canada from Poland. Funny thing is... we like to open door for our friends so gender was never an issue 😆

Some IT companies are terrible as well. I had a boss that would come and check if everyone sits on their asses and working. A colleague was reported for long pee breaks :) The only way they've let us walk around the talk was in a boardroom, near a white-board so that they thought we were working). Never seen this behaviour in my home country (Poland) but apparently it's quite common in Canada. The only reason I was not fired is that I was indispensable (and I've quit anyway in the end xD). EDIT:…

Well... my company had a "all woman photoshoot" on that day. A day later was supposed to be a "all male photoshoot" but was canceled. A [female, Iranian!] friend of mine said it was "sexist" to her bosses. She got silenced ;) Ah... Canada :D

Even worse - some people treat it as a form of irreligious, metaphysical ideology (I had a funny discussion with a feminist the other day on Yoga not being a religion). So before people stockpiled stuff to…

Hmmm OT: I guess it's a cultural thing, but generally isn't "friend" someone that's close to you, with whom you feel comfortable and they feel the same way? How is that a "friend"? :) That's a "colleague" at best. And a paranoid one.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
