Lifting vs. Bodyweight TrainingThanks, everyone, for your advice. My spine surgeon is anti-physical therapy, and told me that I should never do power lifts again. A PT from my gym (I train in Muay Thai 3 times a week) recommended sticking to body weight. I plan on seeking out another medical opinion and talking to a trainer at the gym. For Muay Thai, most of the workouts the instructors recommend are bodyweight or lower weights for reps. My goal isn't so much to get huge as it is to get better at Muay Thai, if that helps. | 1 | No firings over Rolling Stone false rape story. Editor at UVA newspaper: "to let fact checking define the narrative would be a huge mistake."Not aware of the full details of UVA's honor code--just what they mentioned during the campus tour I went on with my son. They did emphasize that it is a single sanction code--one violation=expulsion. | /r/TheRedPill | 06/04/15 07:24 PM
No firings over Rolling Stone false rape story. Editor at UVA newspaper: "to let fact checking define the narrative would be a huge mistake."UVA has a strict honor code. | 1 | She's pregnantWow. All I can say is: 1. Get a good divorce lawyer so you don't get divorce-raped; and 2. Get out. Leave. Do it now! Your wife is pants-shitting insane and if you don't get out now, she will drag you down with her. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 03/04/15 07:25 PM
Watching Divorce RapeIf I'm not mistaken, the law dates back to the mid-90s, so it was enacted during peace-time. | /r/TheRedPill | 11/09/14 04:49 PM
Watching Divorce RapeThat's what I hear from a lot of my military friends. One of my former clients from my contractor days has first-hand experience with this. He came home and found her in bed with someone. She wound up with half his pension. | /r/TheRedPill | 11/09/14 12:30 PM
Watching Divorce RapeActually, they are right. It's the law--military spouses can take half of their husband's pension when they retire. Thank you so much, Patricia Schroeder. | /r/TheRedPill | 11/09/14 03:17 AM
Screenwriter of "Legally Blond" has to pay alimony to her husband, has a DEFCON-1 meltdown. But if you're a man in the military, it's okay for your ex-wife to take half your pay--even if, as in the case of a former colleague, you catch her in bed with someone else. Suck it up, buttercup. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/02/14 02:50 AM
