Maybe. Like I said I can lift through the pain. Although sometimes it’s bad enough I’m physically incapable of doing one push-up. My left hand will simply give out. And it will take weeks to go back to normal. I’m willing to push through it if there’s nothing medically wrong I’m just worried I’m damaging my body and it will become a worse long term health problem.

I agree best just live with defeat. Don’t seek professional help. That would be pointless. In all seriousness though. I find when I go to doctored they tend to say “it hurts when you do that, don’t do that then” I’ve had a lot of negative or pointless experiences seeing doctors so I’m worried they will just shrug me off.

Seems to me like lane swimming will be the most reliable way to build my physique without exasperating my chronic joint pain. Is it bad to lift when you have horrible wrist pain? I can lift through the pain I’m just worried I’m damaging my body. I’ve tried yoga and it does help a lot. I’ve also tried massage therapy, doesn’t seem to make a difference. Is yoga a good way to build strong physique?

It’s already worked that way. I took a one year humanity course in college and have been working as a coordinator planning charity events since. I’m sorry you’re so jaded. I have known plenty of people who turned their non STEM backgrounds into successful and rewarding careers.

I guarantee you can find a job with that degree you took. How hard have you really tried? STEM is not the only answer or path in life. Perhaps you just need to be more open minded or think more out of the box in your search for a related career. Perhaps you’ll have to lower your salary expectations. Everywhere is not only hiring computer science people. Why would someone study STEM if they have no genuine interest in those things? They’ll spend their lives miserable and feeling creatively bankru…

People said the same thing about if I didn’t go to university after high school. But me and all my uneducated friends got plenty of high paying jobs after high school. Even ones that typically would require an education. Maybe your problem is you have no prior experience. I don’t think you got screwed by your university l, you got screwed by yourself.

I’m not sure that you’re spot on with this one. I can’t take a STEM field because I have no interest or skills related to those fields. My program is a coop program with government jobs the whole way through. And I’ll be taking it in the heart of my countries capital city. Just blocks from our federal government. I can get jobs with NGOs, or with the government. I’m also bilingual in my countries official languages. My program is a bachelor of social sciences.
