1	What self improvement are you into? Reading, exercise and having a job or hobbie where you can be proud of what you are doing. Six pillars of self esteem is a great book to start with, but of all the books Freidrich Nietzsches books were the most important for me (it can be hard to read at times but trust me, it's worth it). Exercise is self explanatory, I think. Doing something you are proud of is important because your self esteem will grow with it, and it will raise your confidance in being able to handle new things.
