Because a deadlift is a ton easier then a squat. You’re literally standing up, while a squat requires fairly good technique to go heavy, or you’re just getting folded. Hence why no one gives a fucking about deadlift, and squats are god.

I would suggest doing your big lifts first, always. Then go ahead and accessorize. I generally will do 3 days focused solely on the big 3, and then running a 4th day that includes OHP and whatever aesthetic exercises I feel need work. For grip, try heavy farmer walks. Otherwise in deadlift day, pull double overhand as much as possible, and on your last rep, just hold it at the top for 5-10 seconds before putting it down

You're body fat is probably higher then 13% if you're not seeing the top of your abs at least. Half those numbers don't fucking matter. Bench, Squat, and deadlift. Don't be a coward, get a trainer and learn how to do them right, because they are 100% more effective then the substitutes you're using Facial hair doesn't matter. Honestly, at 5'10, you probably want to lean bulk up to 185... you'd end up looking much better and having muscle to fill out. Get on a linear strength program.

So I have had that issue with my LTR until lately. We work completely opposite schedules, and after working construction all day, then gym I'm exhausted. Funny story, I started out in college for computer sci, and didn't like being in a office all day. Honestly? Finish your degree, and see how it goes. You can always start trades later. Oldest I've seen was 58. But it's hard on your body, and a first year apprentices pay is low. At least where I am in the south east, you only start at 11.65. Journeymen are around 31. Then you get he chance to travel all over the country and work at higher pay scales and overtime. Lots of guys making tons of money…

What kind of gym you goto? If it's a commercial gym, most of those people just pulled a routine out of men's health. Do 5x5, and then look for a intermediate program in the future. I personally love 5/3/1
