Don't sleep with someone who has different goals and intentions than you. If she wants a relationship, respect that she is looking for something else and look for someone who wants the same as you. Also, don't reward her with attention if her values conflict with your own. It doesn't encourage people to change bad values or practices. Women want attention to feel valued. Men want sex to feel valued. Giving women attention without having to earn it by being a person of value, is the same as givin…

Its good sex didn't happen on the first date. Don't put your dick in someone you aren't willing to have in your life for 18 or more years. If you are still interested in her go on a second date. Face-to-face, ask what self work she is doing to address her issues. Ask about her beliefs and values so you can see if she matches with you. If she is working on her issues and not ignoring them, then there is potential. If she is ignoring them, don't persue her further. If she doesn't take care of her …

I'd be conemcerned and raise questions of why she is comfortable moving so fast. If we have a prior friendship and shaved values, then it makes sense to move into a serious relationship, but if you're first date is also meeting for the first time, then that is too fast.

Don't string her along. Let her go so she can find someone who values her. It's mean to waste her time for your selfish pleasure. She also has limited number of years to have kids, if she wants that, then stop being a hiderance to her starting a family.

You need to break your emotional interest so you're emotionally free to look for someone else. You don't have to cut the friendship permanently, but you have to scale it way back for a while. I dated a girl and she rejected me, we stayed FB friends, but I didn't cross into her social circle again because I needed to let her go so I could find someone new.

I think another factor at play in women's sexual behaviors is access to resources. In cultures where women don't have the freedoms that western society women do, they may be more interested in a heterosexual marriage because it means access to resources they aren't allowed to gain on their own. I'm also not sure you can group male sexuality orientation like that together without accounting for the impact that sexual abuse has on a developing child. A boy who is groomed sexually abused may learn …

Modern feminists claiming they want equal representation in the work place, but only pursuing office jobs and degrees and not valuing technical and manual labor jobs like the trades.

Shit tests are to see if a man will put up with her bullshit or not. She'll do or ask something of you and if you go along with it, you'll be a simp and they will know you are someone who won't call out people when they are being unreasonable. If you make a stand and oppose it, she'll know you value yourself enough not to accept stupid behavior. An extreme example I've seen girls do is say they want to break up to their boyfriend. They think they want to see the boyfriend start being emotional a…

No, it depends on the girl and what she values. It could be any combination of looks, personality, perceived competence, potential for career success, personal values and beliefs, and respect for you as someone who would pass a shit test.

Invite her for coffee and walk the book store. Talk about the genres, authors and series you like and why you like them. Don't just say "good characters" give examples of what makes the stories or characters draw you in.

I didn't realize this was r/seduction. I thought it was r/dating. Early on, you don't need to compliment their appearance. It's obvious you have mutual attraction or you wouldn't be on a first date. Get to know what they put effort into and show appreciation for those things, because that is who they are. Most of us want to be appreciated for who we are and not merely how we look. But, I'm no seduction expert. I havent delved into this sub much yet.

It's not about a piece of clothing, but the outfit. Women put effort into picking it, doing their hair and makeup, so they appreciate when we acknowledge the effort. So, compliment when they look dressed up for the occasion. Or, when they dress up on a normal day that they didn't have to, but wanted to. If they dress up for you or for an event you wanted to bring her to, compliment her so she knows the effort is worth it.

Complimenting someone for how they look because of genetics is just a luck of the draw. If you're going to compliment someone's appearance make it about what their wearing, hair style, makeup. Compliment something that they chose and is part of their choices.

If I were part of the security/stop loss team and I saw someone on the cameras dropping multiple items into their own bag and not carrying a basket or using a cart. I'd put someone next to the door in case they tried to make a dash for it. I do think store employees do have a right to stop a thief from leaving until the police get there. If I were accused and had done nothing, then it's inconvenient, but I know I would be vindicated. These ladies were probably guilty and didn't want to get caugh…

It said she got violent when the officer tried to cuff her. I'd say the violence started when they started throwing things.

I would argue that attempting to leave with unpaid for good in your possession is attempted shoplifting and should hold the same penalty.

Heres my thought process. If I were sitting reading a newspaper, magazine, or tablet and someone saw the headline and asked I would just give them the short version because I don't want to have to wait for them to read my copy. But, we are mostly on this sub because we have time to kill. What the commentor is asking is to use more of other people's time to explain it so they can do other things. It seems a but selfish to me, but I've certainly asked for help and clarification on certain topics i…

Probably not, but in the moment someone asking for context when the article is linked just didn't sit right with me. I should have just down voted and moved on.

Different parts of the U.S. have different legal doctrines. The castle doctrine protects the home owner/resident. Their home is their castle and they have the right to protect their home with deadly force. This rarely extends to legal protection from harming a fleeing intruder unless you have reason to believe, and can prove that they would have motivation to return better armed. Some states have a legal requirement that you can only defend against intruders if your ability to flee is not an opt…

If I may ask an off topic question, in your faith when do you use "God" and when do you use "Allah"? Is this more of a language difference? As a Christian God and Lord are mostly interchangeable, but Lord can be used as a more honorific name or to refer to Jesus. And if we want to get poetic we can use the Hebrew names for God based on the specific quality we want to focus on, Adonai, Elohim, Elshaddai, etc. And, for Christ we have Redeemer, Immanuel, Son of Man, Son of God, etc.

That's disappointing. Love should not be a tool for conversion, only for depending the bond already established by shared beliefs, values, and life plans.

Man or woman, if you will only marry someone who shares your faith, then you need to only date those who share your faith. No one should expect the other person to convert for them.

You misquoted, "Just tell me what you have and not what you don't have." She doesn't amcare what they don't have because it is a waste of time. Only what they have matters because that is useful for making a fair ruling.

The key subject here is whether it is a right or not. It cannot be a right because it relies on someone else giving it to you. If you spent your whole life as a hermit you can't receive external respect because there would be no one to give it. It is reasonable to act under basic human decency and be respectful to those you don't know. That's the only way society can exist. But, those that act otherwise aren't denying you an innate right to receive respect, they are using their right to free spe…

No one owes anyone else respect, this it is not a right to be respected or be treated respectfully. Someone who treats you with no respect from the start doesn't care about receiving it and you can walk away from any associations with them. Someone who wants respect and association will show it by giving it without prompting until you earn deeper respect or show yourself unworthy.

In the context of this discussion society doesn't just mean, society at large. It also means the company they are in now, and the industry. If a company allows bad behavior and won't correct it, then the employees have the choice to leave and find another company or start a new one. We will never eliminate all "bad" behavior, the best we can do is maximize an individuals freedom to freely associate and disassociate with those they choose. Changing a status quo will always take a great effort. La…

Part of earning respect is to act respectfully. Someone who cat calls is acting disrespectfully and risking being exposed on social media. Social and financial ostracism is the best means for correcting bad behavior. If you are treated disrespectfully then find a way to show them a better way. Positive incentives are the best solution, but sometimes negative consequences are necessary.

Agreed. No one has a right to be treated respectfully, you earn respect. Those that don't think you have earned it won't show it to you. Rights are something that is inherent to skmeone's existence as a free individual, property, privacy, self-defense. You can't make a right out of something that would enslave others, like behavior or performing a service.

He was trying to break up that fight and she's waiving something and possibly threatening him with violence. I don't know what I would do in that situation, but he did what he thought he needed to do and held back in the process.

The military said I was 69.5" so I rounded down for convenience and jokes. Somewhere between 19 and 36 I added half an inch, or the military lied. 😮

I'm the polar bear in my family. I'm the last to switch from shorts to pants, I sleep with the window cracked during most of the cold months. I need it cold to sleep well because I give off a lot of heat.

I prefer the cold, so during the summer I tell my friends I don't want to do much outdoors because I work on A/C 5 days a week. I'd like to enjoy the fruits of my labor the other two days.

Good, I've tried to encourage some female friends of mine to get into a trade because they don't like their jobs are arent on a career path.

Also, I love how they push for more women in STEM when there are lots of jobs in the trades that require less schooling and make more money faster. How much bigger of an impact would it make if, instead of women going into debt for a degree, they were making money and more connected with the infrastructure that they rely on.

The Portland Mayor has put the police in a tough spot, not allowed to properly protect the city from violent protestors. But, I'm glad they are standing up for themselves when they can.

No one gender owes the other gender anything. My experience is that most of the HVAC industry is men and so far everyone has been happy and appreciative to see me maintaining the systems to keep their environments comfortable. I encourage anyone and everyone to get into the trades. She doesn't owe men anything, but regardless of gender I hope she appreciates the work that went into building and maintaining her home, place of work, businesses that she frequents, and products she uses. And that it…
