Right from the first whistle there were only two ways the story was going to end. 1) She rejects me 2) We get married. That was the fundamental problem. I just wanted to get her to the altar and I ignored all the red flags because she was hot and I was desperate

I think we all go easier on people that are attractive to some degree. It's a natural inclination that's tough to fight in the moment. In hindsight we can see the errors of our ways

The interview example is a good one. I know one day I'll look back on this with relief but when things go horribly wrong I always beat myself up. I'ts embarrassing to think she now sees me as a total loser. I feel like going into hiding, but if I do she's won

yeah I was way too nice and nervous about what she thought about me. Having said that, if I'd had done any of the things listed above she would have stormed out because I now know she was just looking for a fight from the start
