Agreed. Plenty of the "male" tags were of interest to me as a female, just as plenty of the "female" tags didn't interest me. The basis of your study is the assumption male and females have gendered interests and nothing else, the reality is far less black and white. The solution here, in terms of framing a social movement, this particular movement, would not be to attack feminist groups to justify the injustice of being listed by the SPLC. I'm not disagreeing with your logic, there are feminist groups that by all means should fall on this list if MR is on this list. But in terms of framing a social movement to garner support, this isn't the best angle to take.

The best example you can find of evil feminists is a manifesto from the 1960s and was an outlier even then. In the name of men's rights, they would claim yes I believe. Again, I understand there are militant feminists. There are also some absurd views expressed in these forums. Does that mean all your work for men's rights is pointless? My point is that you can find examples of extremes anywhere in any movement if you look hard enough for it. I didn't take it as hostility honestly, but I do think it's a big mistake to overgeneralize a very wide and varied group of people based on your interactions with what is likely a very small sample size. When I'm not at the gym, I'll go ahead and link to some men's rights groups that advocate beating women and children. I don't think all men's rights advocates share this extreme view, so I don't over generalize.

The over generalization of "feminists" or what "feminism is" needs to be discussed. I don't believe many feminists would argue that one's biological makeup defines the roll they can play in various aspects of life, in fact most feminists argue the opposite.
