I commend you for that, but question the plausibility. I don't think cops have been given a bad name by a few bad apples, I think the whole concept is flawed from the foundation up. If you really want to serve your community, do things like neighborhood watch, community outreach, stuff like that. Make cops obsolete. Remove all the reasons for cops to exist, then they either admit that they only exist for extortion and abuse, or they cease to exist.
