That's a great question even as a woman. I really hope she considers it thoroughly. This early, and without a strong commient of a marriage, can be extremely risky. OP would have to really protect herself(when it comes to the shopping), so she doesnt lose her stuff in the likely event of a breakup. In a traditional marriage that risk reduces immediately from my perspective and personal and perceived experience.

Love this comment. This is the reality of having all the wrong priorities, which include everything but family. My mom who's 43 married at 19 right after finishing college early. I followed in her footsteps and married at 20 right after I found the right guy. Young girls need to realize early on that ignoring an investment into a family comes with its consequences later on, when your friends get on with their families leaving you behind. Especially when those young girls will approach 40s and th…

u/throw-away-518 just wanted to point this answer out here, in regards to your question regarding friendship between guys and girls. This commenter summarizes it out pretty well!

I'm just like you in that, I dont appreciate it all if my husband were to have a female friend beside me. We actually spoke about this to each other beforehand that we both do not believe in opposite gender friendships besides each other before becoming official. And looking ahead today(we married last year) it's been extremely peaceful for me knowing how we are each others only opposite gender relationship(ofc excluding family). We are content in each other being each others bestfriends, and we…

The issue the this commenter has shared is as real as it gets. Although her SIL's children are very young, I can share some experiences from my own personal life on what happens to these children when they grow older. I have had friends in school with their lives almost ruined(severe mental illnesses, disturbed and traumatic childhood experiences, only because 2 parents with opposing/clashing views beliefs raised them). In 2020, one of these friends was admitted to the hospital for weeks after s…

u/donaldcargill is right, I didn't meet him at a mosque. So I joined an Islamic non=profit organization where we would plan out and carry girls halaqas(for Quran study etc.) and we would also do community work like events and fundraisers. My mom is also part of this organization as well, and once you get really involved, you're going to realize fellow girls have brothers, or ladies have sons or friend's sons that are ready to marry, that might recommend their sons/brothers to you. That's prettu …

That's what I did at 19 a couple years ago, and like the top commenter said if you're religious find him at your place of worship (I'm muslim, and that advice worked out really well for me too) We're technically both in our 20s now and he's much older than me, and we're married with similar life goals.

I wish I was joking even just saying this, but it's a special country where cows are actually safer than women. It's to the extent where other minorities like Christians/Muslims, could straight up get killed for simply the suspicion of consuming beef. Not even the actual crime--of eating beef there. They literally have a city where all abandoned widows end up because a women whos husband's died is considered bad luck in their Hindu faith/culture. I could go on with more graphic issues on the wid…

Conratulations sister, you like myself, officially have baby fever : ) Jokes aside, this is perfectly normal and good news because it is how we've been wired as women to biologically to desire and nurture children. It is a very feminine desire. I like you, also started to get a terrible case of 'baby fever' when I was 19 last year. It's actually been awful. When you see them be their cute little selves, and melt your heart with their innocence and naïve-ness, it gets to the point were it's almos…

Making salads the most important part of my meals is pretty much the only thing that helped me lose my weight alongside fasting, and then retaining certain healthy eating habits I accumulated throughout has helped me keep it off so far, on top of occasionally fasting again if my eating habits start deteriorating (ie, a cheat meal becoming a cheat week haha).
