Argument by ridicule... We have better reasons to disagree with them, let's not resort to name calling? It's a very worrisome augury of this community that this comment has gotten to +30 already.

Is... Is this taking the idea that "equality has gone too far into the other end of things" so far as to take it into the other end of things?

Abstinence is birth control in the same way that being homeless avoids house fires.

Why dock one to raise another- Seeds of hate will blossom further- The world will head to mutiny, For reasons they call 'unity'; When both sides preach equality, We meet our fate together.

But the current court system does not allow for the biological father to be absolved of all financial obligations, in any case whatsoever. Heck, there's even quite a few cases of women raping men and then the men are obligated to pay child support even if they want the woman to abort. There are cases where the guy is a minor, the woman is not, and he is still obligated to pay child support... http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/09/02/statutory-rape-victim-child-support/14953965/ http:…

To be fair, she had cancer and those embryos were her only chance of getting children. This, of course, does not excuse her actions, but it's an important distinction to make that this wasn't just a case of a woman randomly wanting something because she feels entitled to it, which is what you seem to be implying.

Maybe not sugar itself since it's such a prominent molecule, but the taste of sugar, specifically sweetness? I'd think that psychologically, it's as possible as an addiction to video games, not to mention also it being possible that it physiologically degrades receptors on the tongue faster if the receptors are used more. Then again, I'm only a high school student so I'm not exactly qualified to talk more in depth about it, biologically or psychologically, but it does absolutely seem possible.

Yea, it tastes sweet because of artificial sweeteners. So, when people have already built a tolerance to sugar, sweeteners that are not sugar will taste comparatively more sweet.

Doesn't mean you can't use invalid arguments to argue for the female side of this issue.

The last time I tried to argue that side on Facebook with my irl schoolmates, it ended up with one of them saying that girls wouldn't want to report rapes then because they would be afraid of the accusation being false, rapes are underreported, and that I was siding with the rapists here. :(

No matter how obviously true your thesis is to you, you still have to prove it, and insulting the other party never helps. Even if I were proving that the sky is blue, I wouldn't use such useless arguments as those.

Nah, we're not frustrated, and I don't think making attacks and accusations against us personally is going to help you accomplish anything with your thesis.

So just because she compared her situation to that of his date, it means that she is trying to be her date? Never mind how later in the story, she explicitly states that she doesn't want to?

Or just have the girl send him a text or an email that just says that it is consensual, since those are postmarked for time and are admissible as evidence.
/r/PussyPassDenied12/11/14 02:52 AM

So then the girl's actions don't tarnish the guy's reputation? She didn't get any punishment for the false accusation!

One day, a man is gonna falsely accuse a woman of rape, get persecuted for the false accusations, and use many of the thousands of precedents set by womens' false accusations being unpunished in his defense.

Archiving text in case it gets deleted later. TL;DR - My boyfriend kept his wealth a secret from me throughout our entire relationship. I ended the relationship on the pretext that he wasn't money/career motivated, he didn't say anything to the contrary. I [F26] have been dating Will [M27] for most of 2014; I met him on New Years Eve, we exchanged numbers, scheduled a coffee date and have been seeing each other ever since. He's tall and shy, with long thick hair like Eddie Vedder. He lives in an…
