I absolutely concur. Not sure what the crowd's thought on Dr. Dobbs is. But, in Bringing up Girls he beats the drum on the role of the father in being the example.

Thank you for taking the time to write this out. I do all my "redditing" from a mobile, for your sake I hope you do not. I will absolutely use your post to spark some talking points. My wife and I are currently drafting our scheme of maneuver for this discussion. She starts school on Monday and we plan to have the talk Friday night to give her a recovery period and have full uninterrupted time for further discussion. This community is great and I really appreciate the time and energy the members…

Thank you. My wife will take the lead, but I will be part of the conversation. I concur with your thoughts on same-sex leadership.

Right? I have a niece a year older who has a smartphone in her hand 24/7 and it concerns me. My daughter spent a week with my niece this summer and we had the inappropriate use of the cell phone talk to include "send nudes."

Thanks, friend. We tend do this a lot as is. We're a very tight knit family unit and anytime we see negative/positive actors we discuss the why. Will definitely plan more "discussions" with my wife. May even ask her (daughter) what she thinks to gauge thought process and apply rudder steer as needed. Thanks, again.

I was born and raised on the OH/WV border, moved away 15 years ago and seldom go back. Please ask your buddy the name of the town, I could use a good laugh.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
