Yes but not Lesbian relationships, just lesbians in general, many of who were married to a man once upon a time and often they were hatecrimed for coming out as lesbians. Yes anyone can abuse anyone but that study is very boad.

Buddy I'm sure a load of western young people don't wanna be around that. I don't even wanna be around heavy drinkers and smokers!

Stagnant water could breed mosquitoes and they could kill you with Malaria or Dengue or Zika. You could trip over stuff on the floor, fall down the stairs, and break your neck. You are not entitled to touching someone else's body OR living in their house if you do not have basic decency. I'm not saying preform open heart surgery in the tub clean, but you should not have to be careful when walking around or have any strange mouldy things in the sink. Green potato gas can kill and orphaned a littl…

We can also vote, get paid ( arguably ) equally, have our own bank accounts, and own our own property that we buy! So much less of a man needed as well. A lot of marriages were for convenience. A study showed that happily single women were the happiest demographic.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/23 09:46 PM

Also their friendships and teenage relationships! A shitty boyfriend at 16 or being bullied in middle school might make them think they deserve less / any romantic relationship they could get because they are undesirable and should be happy and greatful. People with healthy and happy parents get that behaviour modeled to them and can see when their own partner is good. If you don't want your potential child to grow up like your parther, your partner isn't good enough!

Manic depression is a mentall health thing but yes, most men don't like the depression side of us ( neither do we ) however they get so mad and agressive instead of being sympathetic and supportive because we can't be fun and risky ' manic ' ppl all the time.

I'm a 5ft tall asian with an alternative style and knee length hair. Objectively pretty to guys. But the type of guy who often persues me want a manic pixie dream. But they don't wanna deal with the neurodivergence and mental illness downsides that often come with people like me. I think a LOT of people only think of ' what I want ' but not what comes with the full person. Girls might want a guy who pays everything but do they want someone who can financially control and coerce them and take awa…

That's the point of a buisness yes. Goods and / or services are exchanged for money in this case. I as the ' dentist ' do not really want friendship with my ' patients ' and nor do most other dentists. It's a job.

So what about your daughter doing construction? Don't want her to use her body to build something for everyone to use? Sure, a lot of people have no choice but a lot of people do it by choice as well!

I don't go into friendships because I might get to date that person so I don't feel romantic attraction to them also I'm pan.

No, but this is as fair as can be on paper. However, I do this but I also love my SO so I do pay for fun stuff and also save.

Yea - if his wage pays a house cleaner for instance. I'm more or a time person - if we both work the same amount of time, we pay bills in equal percentages and split the housework down the middle. Like don't you BOTH live there?

I'm a master's student and my boyfriend works. If she has finals in a few weeks she might just be suuuuuuuper stressed and busy. I feel awful when I can't be with and reply to my bf because of work but it is a future thing that is good for me and I know he understands that I love him even if I don't have so much time for him. You need to be more understanding and less sexually pushy. You said you had good personality chemistry so why not work on that? She seems super smart and pretty but surely …

It's better to become a lawyer than date a lawyer for that salary since if anything happens, they have a leg up with their other lawyer friends and knowing the law better than most as well as having seen many examples in court.

It is, that's what I'm saying. Like getting a prenup isn't just for divorce - what about death, disability, coma / injury, or mental health crisis? You don't want the state to have your stuff and you want your partner to be in control right?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 12:53 AM
1

That's usually because they want financial independence, need to for finances, or want to have a safety net for if something happens to the partner. Like, it isn't the best to only have one income unless there are enough savings to live comfortably and prep for an emergency.

what are u on mate i'd rather have financial security n independence - what if my partner lost their job?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 10:04 AM

Yea because women want their own independence and bank accounts! Men always paid because women couldn't open their own bank account. Women got more independence and freedom when they could have their own place and buy their own things.

He's not broke, I just expect to make more money. He has ambition and everyone does different things at different times. I would always want to at least have the option of supporting myself even if I married a billionaire just for safety's sake and so I wouldn't have to ask for money. We are both young and we are both still learning and growing and finding our paths in life. You just sound jaded and selfish at this point.

I am not a man. I would love him regardless of if the law was involved. I'd marry him if he wanted me to or just stay together forever anyway without the certificates. We've talked. If it helps with immigration ( international couple ) such as me becoming a PR in his country and him getting a green card for mine or job stuff such as spousal benefits on insurance, then we'll do it. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. I'll be graduating with an MA and my family is fairly connected. The thing is, he's a lovely guy and I don't care that our salaries are gonna be different. I'm with him because I love him, not because I love his money. Most people use porn but you can't touch or have an intimate emotional connection with someone on screen. They chose you. Stop being insecure. If it IS a problem, then maybe they aren't relationship material. Why would you decide to be with someone who doesn't view you as their number one? Relationships built on love and trust last, if you are always suspicious it isn't healthy for you either.

Yea for real! If a guy did ' movie hottie courtship ' where he love bombs and is infatuated so he stalks her and such even when she says no, he just comes off as a creep.

Korean ( the example was kdrama ) work culture is horrible and they often must drink with their boss. Idols and actors obviously have their looks as part of their job, but abusive ' idol factories ' and loads of parties with actors doing promotion and such would probably lead to loads of that. I think it's also portrayal. People don't suddenly look whizened and gross at 25.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/21 06:42 AM

Exactly. Or sick ladies. The amount of men who leave their wives when they ( wife ) get cancer or some other horrible medical thing happens to them is so high. Even if you marry the human incarnation of Jessica Rabbit, she could get cancer, she could get hit by a truck and loose her legs, she could get brain damage from a swimming accident, and she will get old and wrinkly. That's why you factor in love and personality along with attractiveness.

Yea! I know tons of people of all genders who can and do sleep around because they like it. The guys are often praised for having loads of consensual sex ( he's good with the ladies ) and girls are often shamed ( what a slag ) even though they are doing it for the same reason and at a similar frequency.

I have attractive friends and average friends and ugly friends but I always look for people who have empathy. Some of the hot ones in all genders have figured out that they can get by on looks so their personalities are awful. They do deserve each other! Addiction is when you negatively impact your life consistantly in pursuit off something. Reading fanfiction or watching porn isn't bad, but it is if you rely on it or skip things in life consistantly to read or watch.

That's because a lot of men think women are below them or don't like them because they are ' nerds ' but actually women like to be treated like a friend and nerd culture is pretty mainstream but it makes for a bandaid over the fact that women don't like you because you are disgusting or have a bad personality. Women had a sexual revolution sure, but men didn't really have a ' women and men are equal ' revolution. This is not all men but enough that we are wary. It's like sure, not all lions and …

Fair. I guess there is a slim minority of women who chose to foccus on studies and / or career first then date after they are established either after finishing school or having worked a bit or both. I think a lot of them get bullied by men because they aren't a walking talking Skyrim / HALO / Red Dead / GTA dictionary who is ready to flash boobs. So they play alone or quit. Girls are often not encouraged like boys to play and many popular games are super violent or complicated but you get called a faker if you play Minecraft or Slime Rabcher and JRPGs or visual novels are ' not real games ' to ' hardcore gamers ' for some reason. I've only been to London once but it was really nice! I went to some museums and bought beautiful post cards then almost impaled my foot on a fence. That's the advice they are also given but maybe it's time for Kathy to stop being the ' cr@zy bitch ' who has fake BPD to excuse herself for being edgy and flighty and who thinks she can put 0% into a relationship and take 100%. A relationship can be a great thing and can help you grow and change as a person but they aren't trained to keep all your mental health up. Sometimes you get someone who is super open and knowledgeable because they are well traveled. Sometimes you get someone who has traveled around but only to western style places and has never experienced the real culture of each place so she ends up more spoiled and / or entitled.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/20 07:38 PM
2

That's terrible but that's the true toxic mentality against men. Try more new therapists and if your friends and family aren't supportive of you and helping you better your mental health in healthier ways then that's on them. I know plenty of guys who are very supportive and uplifting of each other and help each other emotionally as well as physically.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/20 02:16 PM
5

There it is! Society teaches men to go only to girlfriend / wife for emotional problems instead of parents and friends and counseling and girlfriend, so they have less support. Women are also taught that they must be nurturing. Plus, wouldn't you want to help you SO?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/20 05:14 PM

Thanks! Just open your heart and be upfront and honest. Never settle. It's not like you love your cousins and friends and brother and dog and dad the same way you love oreos and Chris Pratt and the stars and fireworks the same but you can love them all. So every girl is a different kind of love. And you don't have to stop loving them if you are better as friends than lovers. It can evolve.

If you date around you know what kind of person you can vibe with, who you live well together with, who you can netflix and chill with, and ultimately who you can spend your life with I think. Don't date as a fling but not everything has to end in marriage or a huge fight. Every kind of loving for every person is different but it's okay because your heart never runs out of love. It isn't less special at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/20 01:20 AM

It does if he is gross because he thinks it doesn't matter or it's gay to brush your teeth. Nothing is wrong with being gay and you'l get loads of cavities. Extremely violent yet emotionally stunted guys get way less girls and friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/20 09:27 PM

Also, lots of it is health related. Like some guys think they are stronger than the literal sun and don't use sunscreen. I met a guy who didn't brush his teeth unless he felt a film of dirt. I think society fails guys on emotions and appearance a lot of the time.

No, it's just that people who use too much deoderant or body spray end up using those brands, and they already have a strong smell. I think it is worse in America. They are the same parent brand under a different name like Walkers and Lays or so my friends tell me.

Or snake powder? But I don't think you have it in america. Something to absorb the sweat.

Like I know feet don't smell good, bug I legit know people who just let the soap swirl around their feet when they shower. Nah man, you soap those shits up, add a lil babypowder, and buy some socks!

I hate it when people use that awful all in one shampoo, bodywash, lotion, toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, conditioner, hair wax, eyedrops whatever the fuck then Axe / Lynx over. Either you stink of B.O. or you stink of too much perfume. For some reason a lot of guys I know don't think you have to brush your teeth if there isn't something in them or they can't feel the plaque. Humans do have a smell, but goddamn have a little hygene! Exept if they just went to workout and they shower after.

I think it's hikey abusive not to let your partner have close friebdships with all genders like damn, it's healthy to be able to do that? Co - dependancy isn't cute and everyone needs time alone and time with different people!

I understand this! I don't restrict myself, but I take the stairs, eat lots of vegetables, cook instead of eating ready meals, and stop when I am full. A lot of people think it is natural, wich it is to a degree, but my lifestyle is a bit different. I like pizza, but I have a slice or twi when they finish it for instance. Keep up the good work!

It is easiery to be pretty when your whole job is being pretty so you have all these people and plans. Then makeup, lighting, and of course - photoshop! Didn't Hugh Jackman / Wolverine say he almost passed out because he had to look so lean and shredded for the fight scenes?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
