1	Has anyone here done vocal or speaking lessons? Could you share any resources that have helped you? Especially with regarding vocal volume and projection. So what I have learned from lessons and experimentation is that we have to set up the vocal instrument (essentially our body) in such a way so it can respond reflexively to our intention. Ridding our body of extraneous tension using things like Feldenkrais, Yoga, Alexander Technique, Relaxation and Breathing exercises helps a lot, but it is only half the battle. My impro facilitator posted some months ago that the art of true conversation was lost. People don't know how to listen anymore. They listen thinking two or three steps ahead so they can look cool, attractive and feel safe. However, doing a lot of improv won't make the behaviours from improv automatically transition to seduction. There is still work required to bridge the gap. The reason for this is simple. In the improv class, everyone is in on the game. You are given permission, sometimes explicitly, to act in a way you otherwise wouldn't with other adults.
