| 3 | I wish I was illiterate (x-post from r/AreTheStraightsOK)Right! If this is true I feel like it highlights how cycles of abuse and neglect work. When people’s — especially men’s — childhood trauma goes unresolved they bring that into their relationships and at best are shitty partners with the emotional intelligence of a used sock that rely on their partner for everything, or at worst are abusers. I feel like it’s so important that men be actively working on themselves and resolving any trauma they have experienced. | 25 | I wish I was illiterate (x-post from r/AreTheStraightsOK)It sounds like he was triggered by it...indicating maybe a history of abuse. Not an excuse but an explanation. But also a grown ass man should ideally have worked out trauma like that by their adult life, especially if it’s leading to being unhygienic. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/06/20 07:03 AM |
