5	The most dangerous thing about narcissism is that people think it’s excessive self-love, when it’s actually chronic self-loathing. My narcissistic ex was deeply self hating. He would start crying out of nowhere and demanding I compliment him. I thought he couldn’t possibly be a narcissist because of how fragile his ego was.
