There might be a social hierarchy of sorts, which can shift depending on the context of the situation, but no-one gets bullied. If it works for you, fair enough, however I prefer to be friends with those who thrive off helping each other improve.

There are so many aspects of yourself that you can improve to become a great man, without ever having to resort to this type of shit. I doubt I'd even surround myself with people who I respect so little that I'm willing to "bully" them. Banter, yes. Also, that was a lot of words for a simple concept.

None of what you talked about in this entire post is sexual innuendo.

This article is wrong. It's just a rebrand to make them variations of the same product, instead of different products completely: Potato Head (Mr Potato Head)/Potato Head(Mrs Potato Head) vs Mr Potato Head/Mrs Potato Head. The boxes have Potato Head as the main branding with the gender on the corner of the box; they aren't gender neutral. It's a non-story.

You have used them incorrectly numerous times from what I've seen so far. I think it's safe to say that a kid who has literally created a page of "personal quotes" may be somewhat lacking in the humility department. And if that's not the impression you're trying to give off, then you're using language ineffectively.

Yeah, it's very tame in this video, and the English origin is a lot more pronounced. Really interesting.

It's "The Keep It Simple Stupid" method with, ironically, a completely unnecessary and vague poker analogy thrown in there. Perfect.

Pretty much. This poker analogy makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, lol. Don't get me wrong, the basic crux of the post is true: Be Better. That's a pretty basic tenet of TRP though, and I don't think it needed an indistinct poker reference to make it more profound.

Incorrect generalities. “They pile on the weight”. In what world? Nicotine is an appetite suppressant, and it’s well documented that people generally gain weight when they stop smoking. I’ve also seen nothing to back up any of OP’s other points. Most people start smoking when they are young (and yes, possibly reckless, because they are young) and get addicted. In practice they can “just stop” but those of us who have been addicted to anything know that it’s not as simple as that. You’re pretty m…

You’re not ugly. BDD sufferers tend to have an inability to look at the whole, and instead pinpoint and exaggerate specific flaws that they’ve identified. I also know that any compliments or reassurance only create fleeting feelings though, and the doubt always creeps back in. That’s why I recommend talking to a doctor.
/r/seduction04/05/19 03:16 PM

If you truly believe that, then you possibly have BDD and it'd be worth going to the doctors. I have had it for years and you display the same sort of obsessive validation seeking. It's pretty much destroyed my life but you can get help to keep it at bay.

There’s no way this isn’t satire. Me: Such promises I will never make. It's just not the kind of person I am. Her: "Should I be scared of you. You look like a don." (Because of my DP). ”6/7 pussies” No condoms

I would hazard a guess that it’s also wrong, too. Would be interested to see where this is documented though. From my perspective respect is gained for good fathers, and not lost. You can be an involved father without having to paint your nails or host tea parties with your daughter.

From my experience shy girls who are interested are usually still easy to pick up. Always obvious when someone is being receptive to you - they don’t need to shout it from the rooftops.

Because women don't really know the male experience in first person, and can't see beyond feminine correct ways of feeling, speaking, doing and experiencing. They will say that they don't like the way men see the world, but can only be attracted to masculine men. This means nearly all what they say about men's attitudes, mannerisms, expressions, and perspectives being 'wrong' in favour of 'feminine correct only' ones, is BS, built up from a point of origin of ignorance I’m not really sure how yo…

These posts are so cringe. I honestly picture this guy every time I read one: https://i.imgur.com/W94coIR.jpg Don’t get me wrong, I think there are genuine people on here, but posts like this just read like some neckbeard’s fantasy.

Also have BDD however CBT did absolutely nothing for me unfortunately. I did get a job where one of the main tasks was talking in front of large groups of people which has helped me immensely. I think you just need to get yourself out there, and realise that, while you may not be everyone’s cup of tea, people are generally more worried about themselves than about judging some random guy.

I don’t know, this isn’t something I necessarily agree with. Granted I’ve met girls who get by on looks and looks alone, but I know plenty of girls who are attractive and still hugely productive in other aspects of their life - and not just by virtue of said looks, but also intellectually. It all depends on the social circles you reside in.

Yeah, this is like a drug addict slowly justifying to themselves that they can have 'just one hit'. Interesting to see the mental gymnastics as they happen to be honest.

You're fooling no one here; this is such obvious oneitis. You'd already made the decision to go full NC, then someone mentions that it's a slight possibility to bang an ex if you play it right, so you jump right away and text her? Then the next post down all of a sudden you're open to just going for coffee so she can see how great you're becoming? It doesn't matter what you look like now, what you do now, how much money you have now, once she's done with you, you're not getting back together - a…

In response to your post in the other thread, I agree with a lot of the information that is provided in this section, and love the self-improvement focus. That said, I don't have time for people like you who think you're on another moral plain because you are a male. We are not 'better', just different.

Honestly, I stopped reading after you claimed men are morally superior to women. You seem misogynistic, as opposed to 'enlightened'.

What is the connection between AWALT and travelling? If you are in a decent social group being well-traveled is an expectation and not anything impressive. The first 'lesson' is pointless, unless of course you have a desire to have low-SMV girls chasing you.

I thought we judged people by their actions on this subreddit and not their words (or even worse, their thoughts)? As far as I'm concerned, if someone develops in a way that they are mostly being positive in their actions, they are a good person. I know this sub tends to be pretty cynical/pessimistic, but this is a bit much.

Yeah, I'm re-listening to TRM and the narrator is doing me tits in with his odd inflections.

Yeah, Henleys are tacky. A nice crew neck/polo neck looks FAR better. Call it denial all you will. One thing I've always been complimented on is my sense of style, so I'd like to think I'm doing something right there. Henleys were in like 5 years ago in the UK, if not longer ago. Now you will just look silly wearing one.

Not sure what part of Europe you're from, but, while I'm not a fan myself, there are lots of guys in their late 20s/early 30s wearing Vans or more casual shoes. Running shoes are in here too, and a nice white pair with black jeans looks great. Also have to disagree with Henleys adding style; they are tacky and unnecessary.
