I get what you're saying but it doesn't negate that it's a small thing for you to do. Refusing to do it is the cause of any disagreement, which you're choosing to engage by not just putting the seat down. That would be a fair comparison where the trash was enitely filled with his rubbish and not mine and I would never have to take it out if he didn't fill it up. Then it would be logical for him to do it. Obviously in reality we both use the trash and I would have to take it out whether he contri…

I'm not sure what example compares to touching a toilet seat. Just put things back the way you found them before you used them? You would have to touch the seat to use the toilet either way, whereas I never do. That's fine for you living alone or with other guys but why would you make someone needlessly touch a filthy seat just because you have to?

If the toilet seat was up before you used it it's because another man didn't bother to put it down. It doesn't need to be an argument, it's easy for you to put it back down especially since you've already touched it. My partner does this without me asking, I never had to mention it to begin with, it's just decent. Same as if I use a knife in the kitchen, I wash it so the next person can use it. I could just leave it out because hey why don't they wash it and put it back? I don't have to put anyt…

You would have to touch it anyway because you use the toilet two ways. There is no normal circumstance where a woman has to touch a. Toilet seat with her bare hands. Of course I wash my hands, but that doesn't mean I should intentionally touch something filthy.

We're not asking you to do something for us, we're asking you to return it to the state it was before you used it. Simple. If you lift it up, you can put it down. Why should I have to touch a toilet seat for anyone? Your argument is 'I have to, so you should too' which is more petty.

Thing is women would never have to touch the toilet seat with their hands if men didn't put it up. It's only ever up because a guy used it and didn't put it back. If you can lift it, you can put it down just as easy. The upper lid hasn't touched anyone's ass before someone mentions that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
