| 1 | If you're going to be Pro-Choice, be Pro-Choice for both parentsWhat law bans fun? | /r/MensRights | 08/05/22 10:14 PM |
| 0 | If you're going to be Pro-Choice, be Pro-Choice for both parentsI think the thing is that most feminists would agree with you. You’re making the enemy feminists when it’s just society in general. We’re fighting the same battles here, so why tear these imaginary feminists down? | /r/MensRights | 06/05/22 04:32 AM |
| -1 | If you're going to be Pro-Choice, be Pro-Choice for both parentsBut how is it hypocritical if we agree that it’s wrong? It’s not feminists arguing for circumcision | /r/MensRights | 06/05/22 04:28 AM |
| -2 | If you're going to be Pro-Choice, be Pro-Choice for both parentsLol this is exactly what Im trying to say is irrelevant. They’re totally different issues and I don’t think they should be pitted against each other. Many feminists don’t believe in circumcision | /r/MensRights | 05/05/22 08:33 PM |
| 0 | If you're going to be Pro-Choice, be Pro-Choice for both parentsCircumcision doesn’t kill you or bring an unwanted life into the world | /r/MensRights | 05/05/22 07:44 PM |
| -31 | If you're going to be Pro-Choice, be Pro-Choice for both parentsI’m a feminist and I couldn’t care less about circumcision. I’m totally fine if we dont do it anymore. It has nothing to do with abortion tho, I have no idea why you’re bringing it up here. We’re talking about bringing unwanted lives into the world and putting womens’ lives in danger Edit: you guys obviously missed my message. I’m not saying that circumcision isn’t fucked up and feel free to fight to ban it. I said I don’t care as in I’m not going to try and tell people it’s better to get circum… | /r/MensRights | 05/05/22 03:35 AM |
| 0 | Mikhaila Peterson Tim Pool - Women in workplaceYou comment has nothing to do with the comment you replied to, feels like you kind of just wanted to get it out | /r/AntiFeminists | 19/11/21 12:44 AM |
| 0 | Anyone in need of a good laugh?Lol so only men can be scientists. Nice | /r/AntiFeminists | 18/11/21 05:17 PM |
| 0 | Anyone in need of a good laugh? To be honest, I’m not trying to be mean, but go back to those works and actually read them. I think it’ll help you improve your grammar at least. Try to read with an open mind and from the perspective that women have been historically discriminated against. This is not about hating men but trying to point that men have benefited from society in ways that women haven’t. Look, I’m not going to argue with you anymore. I think the difference in opinion here really stems down to whether or not you be… | /r/AntiFeminists | 18/11/21 05:16 PM |
| 1 | Anyone in need of a good laugh?I mean I can send a pic if you want proof. All I can say is there’s a 100% chance I’m too hot for you. In what world do they let uggos model? | /r/AntiFeminists | 18/11/21 05:08 PM |
| 0 | Anyone in need of a good laugh? So you only want to believe what suits you, not the literal research done by modern feminists. | /r/AntiFeminists | 17/11/21 11:12 PM |
| 0 | Anyone in need of a good laugh?I mean I literally don’t know you or if you’re a native English speaker. Judging by your response, you are, which is honestly just sad. This had never been about hating men, Which you would know if you had read the research I linked or any of the feminists’ works that you mentioned. | /r/AntiFeminists | 17/11/21 11:10 PM |
| 0 | Mikhaila Peterson Tim Pool - Women in workplaceI mean the comment I was replying to was straight up saying that women shouldn’t be in the workforce, which is clear discrimination. Not sure where you got the “people not liking me” from | /r/AntiFeminists | 17/11/21 11:08 PM |
| 1 | What happened to feminism being for equality in BOTH genders?I want true equality and that’s what we’re fighting towards. There was no way to get there other than mandates for now. Not forever, just until we reach a point of true equality. I see you didn’t read the article because the concern you brought up was actually mentioned. Also I like how you just ignored my second point because you know it’s valid | /r/AntiFeminists | 17/11/21 01:59 PM |
| 0 | Anyone in need of a good laugh? Are you not a native English speaker? I don’t want to point out your grammar if not, but it feels pretty silly to be called ignorant by someone who consistently makes grammar mistakes. The feminists you listed may have had influence in feminism but they by no means defined the movement. You’re saying that a movement can’t change with the times? The dictionary definitions reflect the current beliefs. You can read more about it here, since you love studying so much. | /r/AntiFeminists | 17/11/21 01:56 PM |
| 1 | What happened to feminism being for equality in BOTH genders? The problem is that we haven’t really reached a place where equality exists without regulations. It’s the ultimate goal, but until everyone truly can be acknowledged by their merits and not just by what we consider to conventionally make sense for a role, we can’t really have equality without regulations. It’s a complicated topic, but you can read more about why we need quotas here. It’s by no means an equal portion of women to men in leadership positions and how can men speak to the female expe… | /r/AntiFeminists | 17/11/21 06:33 AM |
| 1 | Mikhaila Peterson Tim Pool - Women in workplaceI really can’t say that Peterson’s experience can be generalized. In my experience working with men, any time I know something that a male colleague doesn’t, I need to find a way to soften the blow so his ego doesn’t take a hit and he doesn’t just immediately dismiss me. I don’t need to do this with women and men don’t need to do this with other men. But in my experience the only people I need to treat with “kid gloves” are (usually older) men. Maybe women have equal opportunity to enter the wor… | /r/AntiFeminists | 17/11/21 06:18 AM |
| 1 | Anyone in need of a good laugh?First of all, insulting me isn’t really going to result in good dialogue between us. Look up the definition of feminism. Both the Encyclopedia Britannica and Oxford Dictionary define feminism as the belief in equality between the sexes. Are you really arguing that you know better than the literal dictionary definition? | /r/AntiFeminists | 17/11/21 06:13 AM |
| 0 | What happened to feminism being for equality in BOTH genders?I agree both genders face discrimination. Men should be allowed to be home makers as easily as women. But women don’t have as much power in society as men do, which is why you hear more about the move for greater women’s rights. What do you mean by equality vs equal outcomes? What’s the difference to you? | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 10:46 PM |
| -1 | Anyone in need of a good laugh? Then I’m sorry but you’re in the wrong sub. Yeah this sub pushes that feminists don’t believe in equality, but those “feminists” are really the edge cases, just like we’re seeing with the extreme liberals/conservatives. Feminism is the belief in equality and it’s ignorant to argue otherwise | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 09:33 PM |
| -2 | Anyone in need of a good laugh?So you’re just stupid then. Honestly I’m not gonna be bothered trying to convince a dumbass | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 09:31 PM |
| 1 | Mikhaila Peterson Tim Pool - Women in workplaceNice comeback | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 09:30 PM |
| 0 | What happened to feminism being for equality in BOTH genders? For one, we still have discrimination in the work force. Check out this sub to see people’s thoughts on whether women are as competent as men. Until we have equal men and women in power, women won’t truly have representation in our society. | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 09:30 PM |
| 1 | Mikhaila Peterson Tim Pool - Women in workplaceI’m saying that women don’t have equality yet, which is why there’s still a need for feminism | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 04:31 PM |
| 1 | Mikhaila Peterson Tim Pool - Women in workplaceI don’t understand how you guys say that women already have equality and then also say that women shouldn’t be in the workforce. Women experience discrimination in the workforce because of people like you. It’s exhausting to constantly have to prove yourself to men who don’t think you’re good enough to work with them, something that most men don’t experience in the workplace. | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 01:27 PM |
| -8 | What happened to feminism being for equality in BOTH genders?Just because women can vote now doesn’t mean we have equality | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 01:18 PM |
| 1 | What happened to feminism being for equality in BOTH genders?Right and feminists never get hate like that | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 01:17 PM |
| 16 | Anyone in need of a good laugh?100% the person who wrote this wasn’t the person in the pic | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 01:16 PM |
| -5 | Anyone in need of a good laugh?Lol def not true. I’ve modeled, I’m size 4, and I’m def conventionally attractive, and I’m a huge feminist. Both women and men shouldn’t face discrimination in the career and life paths that they choose | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 01:15 PM |
| -5 | Anyone in need of a good laugh?Lol anti-feminism is just thinly veiled anti-women | /r/AntiFeminists | 16/11/21 01:11 PM |
| -1 | I think its pretty funny tbhLol and you wonder why feminism exists | /r/AntiFeminists | 26/10/21 05:12 AM |
| 2 | The comments lmfao…Wanting equality isn’t stupidity. Maybe men just shouldn’t choose to enter fields with higher death rates (/s if it’s not obvious) | /r/AntiFeminists | 26/10/21 05:09 AM |
| -1 | Gender roles for thee, but not for meLol more women right now are doing both roles than ever, as are more men. Don’t know where you’re getting the idea that all women are sitting around on their asses | /r/AntiFeminists | 26/10/21 05:06 AM |
| -1 | Never forgetThis just isn’t true and not what feminism means. Maybe there are some feminists who believe this, but the majority of feminists wouldn’t agree with those people | /r/AntiFeminists | 26/10/21 05:03 AM |
| 0 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.Isn't everyone on here saying that it's easier for women to be homeless? In fact, that's exactly what you're saying. The original comment even says "Tell me again about your oppression. Literally the entire system is falling over itself to help you." So tell me how we're the ones making this about women. Look, I know that this sub isn't the place for feminism. I understood that when I came in here. I guess it's just painful to see so much hatred towards women and feminism and I think that TooFak… | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 11:43 PM |
| 0 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.Used your thesaurus on this one, didn't you? Scary. Anyways, the argument that you posited was founded on the basis that all of my comments were wrong, so by using the original comment that you were trying to prove wrong as proof that I'm wrong, you've created a logical fallacy. you claimed that he did, and that was stupid and wrong. Some exemplary reasoning. Your assumption that I "feel threatened by people fighting for their rights" Is this even an assumption? You really have no other reason t… | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 04:51 AM |
| 0 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.Perhaps my grand mistake was airing a general frustration of this thread through your reply and for that I apologize. This guy has been trolling me too. Don't feel bad, it's a really sensitive subject, and it's easy for people to get under your skin when you're talking about something that you're passionate about. I'm completely on your side. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 04:38 AM |
| 1 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman. How the hell are you getting downvoted? Acknowledging real issues women face doesn't mean you're ignoring the ones men face and vice versa. Like this is basic humanity. The amount of people that can't even give that here depresses me. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 04:36 AM |
| 2 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.I don't like what you have to say, so I'll insult your intelligence. Please tell me what I have wrong, and we can talk about it like adults. I'm sorry that you feel threatened by people fighting for their rights. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 03:26 AM |
| 2 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.Okay I meant more in the sense that women make much easier targets to a slew of dangers. I'm sorry for miswording my response, but the principle is still there. Of course men get raped, but realistically, who makes the easier target? Who makes the easier target to get sold in to sex slavery? Who makes the easier target to get abducted and tortured? Of course men face all these things, but most perpetrators will almost definitely go for the women first. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 02:18 AM |
| 0 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.I think maybe I misunderstood you when you said "oppressed." There's a systematic oppression of women that exists outside the government and that was the oppression that I thought you were referring to. That's a far fucking cry, however, from a shadowy "Patriarchy" that has clandestine meetings in dimly-lit war rooms brainstorming about new ways to keep plucky women down. I don't think anyone thinks this. If they do, they're not on the same page as most feminists. Honestly, the oppression on wom… | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 02:07 AM |
| 1 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.Yes of course men can't sleep safely on the street. But realistically, homeless women face a whole slew of dangers that men don't. Women make much easier targets. I'd love to live in a place where women alone don't get harassed and assaulted for being by themselves at night. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 02:01 AM |
| 0 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman. But realistically, the two groups face dramatically different circumstances and consequences for being homeless. That's just reality. You can't universally combine women's shelters and men's shelters because women face dangers that men just don't on the streets. That doesn't mean that men don't deserve a place to sleep, and that maybe more funding should be allocated for that purpose. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 01:57 AM |
| -2 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.Sorry for my grammatical error, I used past tense because I was referring the past when I read his post. I meant that he argues that women don't face oppression. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 01:50 AM |
| 3 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.Who argues that? "The system" (aka the government?) has put counteractive measures that protect women in place after people have fought for them. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 01:33 AM |
| -4 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.Honestly, I went to the comments to find some sanity (probably not a smart idea, I realized after), but I was shocked I had to scroll down so far to find a comment like yours. The fact that women can't safely even sleep on the street is maybe part of the reason they get preferential treatment This is a huge factor that I think a lot of people on here should acknowledge. But I guess it's more fun to blindly hate on women's rights advocates. You do such a beautiful job of highlighting everything t… | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 01:24 AM |
| 2 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.Get out of here with your common sense. They just want to be mad at the ever oppressive women's rights groups. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 12:28 AM |
| 6 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.I didn't say anything about lies. You did indirectly. Women's rights groups say that women are oppressed, so by saying that women aren't, you're accusing them of lying. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 12:27 AM |
| 17 | Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman. This is a separate problem from male privilege, this is class inequality. Thank you. I was really with flee_market until he started arguing that women haven't faced oppression. Thank you for your solid commentary. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 12:22 AM |
