I can’t decide which one of us is Aslan. Pretty sure it’s both of us lol. But yeah this is a great example and it is much appreciated 😁

I don’t disagree. Actually in my post history there is a post that I wrote that goes into neurobiology of love and lust. And while yes I believe we are biologically predispositioned to identify “the one” I don’t necessarily believe that there is only one person out there for us. I believe our body identifies the best mate. With that said... I’m actually speaking as someone who had one almost 8 year long relationship and another that was 5 years long. I’m not speaking through the lease of someone…

Starting over in your 30’s isn’t the worst but yeah it sounds like you are realizing he isn’t the one. Starting over now is much better than starting over after a failed marriage or 10 years down the road. I wouldn’t delay your happiness longer. I won’t get into too many details but I ignored that feeling for too long and am currently rebuilding. I’m doing well yes but I could have been happy much sooner if I listened to my gut. Good luck!

Fu*k yeah. This is great advice and I will likely have this conversation of sorts with him soon. This completely sums it up for me and at this point I don’t have anything to lose. I mean he already got the car scared out of him with my last LTR (he thought I’d never leave that guy).

I’m going to agree with some others here. I know it’s hard to hear but what you are having is buyers remorse. I’ve been there. It doesn’t sound like he is a stable provider and if you want kids you need someone you can depend on. It isn’t too late but I wouldn’t waste more time than you need to at this point. Think it out and consider is this what you really want. My gut is telling me you want out but the time investment made in this guy is holding you back.

Ok yeah. I would say that’s a lot. Definitely going to have health implications. Talk to him about it. Let him know that you are working towards being healthier and try to frame it as a team effort. This is a hard one but be as delicate as you can without letting him think this is okay.

I only wear this type of thing whenever I am at home or working out. Unless... and this is the exception I am going to a game and representing the home team in cold weather. Sweaters on the other hand can be cute and made to look smart in a business casual type sense. I typically dress them up with a skirt and contrast with a nice button down underneath. I typically prefer to wear dresses with tights in cooler months but if I wear a skirt I will typically pair it with a cute sweater that complim…

Just encourage him to make good decisions. Nagging won’t get him anywhere. Talk about it in the context of how much better you felt after you left your toxic job but do not preach or make him feel like he has to make the same decision. For clarity how much drinking are we talking about? One or two drinks a night? Or more? If he is drinking excessively then you should talk to him but a couple drinks a night while not good for you doesn’t indicate alcoholism. I would approach this conversation in …

Yeah. I think you need more NC time and a focus on yourself. Enjoy your life and build yourself up. He isn’t likely to suddenly change his mind. But 1.5 years is a really long time to not meet your boyfriend’s family. I would have been worried at the 6 month mark. Moving in is a different story and I have noticed that some people take this slower than others. I feel like at 1.5 years you should have a clear timeline of when you would move in together or at least a good idea of when he thinks tha…

That’s awesome. Yeah I have a friend that is a Doula and she loves it because it is so family friendly (she has 5 kids under 5). Sounds like you have some amazing options but are you worried your husband might have issues if you become head of household? In my experience it has caused problems with guys I’ve been with which is why I ask.

This is posted on a school wall in Texas and people are losing their ever loving minds on it. I saw a post online talking about it and I was relieved that some people still understand this to be true.

It’s self esteem in my opinion. I think it’s great your trying to curb annoying behavior but I think self esteem is playing a role in how men perceive you. Once a man has made up your mind that you are “sad and mousy” it’s harder to come back. Fake it till you make it with the confidence. If you tell yourself you are an amazing catch, Bright, and have a lot to offer then eventually you will start to believe it and others will follow.

Keep working on it. Self care is even more important for people who have mental illness. Workout, do yoga, meditate, take bubble baths, just find something that helps you relax. I’ll echo another’s comments. If you are not seeing a therapist or counselor you should look into it. I don’t know where you are located but in the US we have a lot of nonprofits that offer free therapy. Universities with people working on a graduate degree also often have a therapy program that is done on a sliding scal…

Correcting my previous mess ups right now. My monthly goals are going well. My ex reached out and established communication again. So I have been working on maintaining healthy boundaries and building up trust and connection. I’ve done a great job of maintaining his interest and we text and or talk on the phone daily (we are in different states). So far I seem to be on track. We are planning a visit for me to go see him which I am really looking forward to. In the past I did not play it cool (ov…

I work in hiring to put it vaguely. It depends on where you are looking. Plenty of companies and organizations are ok with moms. In my experience they have a high tolerance for temper tantrums which makes them perfect for the corporate world. That sounds like a joke but I’m not kidding. If you can and your field allows look for jobs that are “family friendly” there are a ton out there that are posturing themselves to attract more women. I guess in other words dont let your label as “Mom” make yo…

Well I don’t have much advice when it comes to furniture. I used Pinterest for inspiration. One thing I will say is area rugs really tie a room together and getting a idea of your color scheme ahead of time is essential. I like to pick a painting, rug, etc and pull my color scheme from it. When it comes to plants. I usually do plants that are ok for cats. There are plenty and if you buy cat grass it will detour them from plants you don’t want them to eat. Ca grass is also good for kitty’s digest…

No. I want to attract quality and a man that has a similar background. Like attracts like. It isn’t elitist this is very basic mating protocol. Everyone woman wants a man at her station or above. That’s just a simple fact of life.

Thanks! That’s great advice. I haven’t invited him out here so he hasn’t come visit. Since all my family lives in his area I travel that way, not just to see him but it is a bonus. Definitely find him sexy, there is a huge magnetic attraction thing going on. He would make a great Dad. I used to struggle a lot about admitting our values are the same but our ideas about raising kids are the same.

Agreed. I guess my question is this: is him taking about marrying me and having children an obvious indication he wants to commit? I’m probably over thinking it and have no reason to think he isn’t being genuine. I guess I’m just scared. From what I understand women often have to initiate the commitment conversation after indicators appear. Does this align with RPW philosophy? I’ve been working on myself for a while and continue to do so. Not for him but generally as a type A I like to be the be…

That’s true. But that is why it’s essential to make a plan of action written out with specific steps to success. Maybe I just take a more proactive approach. I just honestly see no excuses for not doing something. In order to seduce you need to have some self reflection. Can’t help those who choose to be helpless.

It’s actually $50 for the full screen and $20 for the top 5. In my field I found it useful. Won’t give details to keep it anonymous an it’s produced by Gallup so it’s not like it’s a scam lol. Backed by research and psychology. Then again I am all about spending money to get ahead so for me it was an easy sell. If you aren’t for it that’s fine but I would suggest actually looking into it before writing it off.

I’d see through that shit instantly. Intellect isn’t easily faked. Sure if your super smart with a undergrad degree you can fake it to an extent. But I legit ask tons of questions about people’s careers because I’m successful and genuinely interested. So I’m gonna figure it out lol. Red flags go off. I suggest if you want to come across smart but don’t want to answer questions say vague things like I work in intelligence or for the government. You can’t outright say you work for the CIA but you …

In the past four years I’ve been to clubs twice. Then again fun for me is intellectual stimulation. Depends on the person I suppose. I actually like talking to people so Club scene ain’t my scene.

What age group are you working with? I think that’s the difference. I like guys in their 30’s so only ones at clubs are sleezeballs. So for me it’s different. If your looking for people in their 20’s I think it’s a different story. Also depends on what you are looking for. In my experience clubs are an awful place to gauge IQ and IQ is my top priority when seeking a mate.

Well yeah but wouldn’t a more effective approach to self esteem issues be to figure out what you are actually good at? When God have out confidence he doubled mine. No. This information was extracted from the data he provided. I didn’t just tack everything he said and put it into a post. Besides influence isn’t what his PHD is in it was a dissertation topic. I also confirmed his background. He is legit. And on top of it this is very common in the type of organization he works for. But thanks random person on the internet. Just don’t. Quality women go to clubs to be with their friends not to pick up a rando. If I had a nickel for every time a dude bought me a drink that I ditched later I would be grossly wealthy. Pick up girls at bars where you can actually spit some game and make a connection. Far more effective in my opinion.

Absolutely must have a bio. Most women will not swipe on just photos (some will but not quality ones). There is a lot of info online about how to build an attractive profile. Women will use this profile to keep conversation moving and understand how to relate to you. That will make your life significantly easier when it comes to getting a date or a few and subsequently sleeping with them. Unless you are going for easy chicks and want to catch an STD lol. I wouldn’t trust a girl who swiped on a g…

Agreed. Say something like I like hanging out with you or enjoy talking to you. This sends the message loud and clear unless she is dumb as a brick. I use these phrases all the time typically very early in dating. Don’t overuse it obviously but it’s cool to communicate that you are cool with how things are going.

Fuck someone else good in bed. It helped distract me from love. Neurology dictates that this technique is effective as your brain can manage love and lust at the same time. Biologically speaking you will feel the relief of having a mate. If you want to get over her find a quality sexual partner to ward off some of those biological needs. It won’t 💯 fix the problem but the distraction will help.

I won’t deny I am stubborn. I am amazingly stubborn which is why I am successful. Failure doesn’t keep me down. I get right back up and keep going. Being stubborn is all about how you use it. I’ve never dated women through dating apps but I didn’t realize arrogance was so common. I look at it like this: First and second time out girls never know if they are all that into you. So it helps but it has to be a very special situation for a guy to get me to his house that early. So I suggest taking her out for drinks first around your neighborhood and then offering to make a snack / dinner.

I wasn’t always successful so obviously I have dated men who were average. Men have to have something to offer which is why PUA techniques exist. Men on this board are confident all the time. I’m not trying to fuck you guys so relax. You’re just intimidated because I am a woman. If you want to obtain high quality women y’all are going to need to stop being defensive or defeated when you run across one. Right now is probably a good time to practice. Have the conversation. If you didn’t have it and you end up having a one night stand then you should have the conversation later. Be tactful. I appreciate when guys ask about this sort of stuff. It looks responsible. Another thing... asking a girl how sexually successful she is has nothing to do with if she is high risk. A girl could be a total freak but was in a 10 year long relationship and has only had sex with 3 people. On the other hand a girl may have had multiple sex partners but gets tes…

Yeah that’s not the point. He didn’t simply say “hey let’s drink wine and hang out”. He took it one step further by creating a fantasy of what could be. That is a little more sophisticated than “hey do you want to drink wine” lol. Specifically the use of the word home. My point is the strategic use of words.

Honestly. They probably weren’t making fun of you. It sounds like the girls were noticing you as well. But legit question they asked especially if they were super attractive. It isn’t binary at all. And I am not qualifying vanity. Actually, I have dated very average men far below my station because of their personalities. I look for different things in men. If a guy is hot but dumb as a brick I am absolutely not fucking him. If a guy is super successful but has no personality I am not fucking him. You only looked at what you feel you lack or what others lack. The entire point of what I said was that you can have none of those things and get laid if your Game was strong. It isn’t meant to be discouraging. It was meant to show quality women will totally bang it out with an average guy if he works on his game. That’s what everyone here is striving for right? But please if you have something constructive to say about why it’s fucked up Im here I’d love to hear it. But “you have a vagina and aren’t a lesbian” is not an acceptable argument. I’m not the one whining because I can’t get tinder dates. I don’t think I am the socially inept person in this scenario. Push and pull. Show interest and be sincere but also pull back some. Skip a day of calling or texting. Then apologize and give a practical excuse. You have plausible deniability but she will still wonder why. Don’t get crazy with it but make sure you keep it equal. Be nice and engage but don’t over do it. Don’t completely give up your power.

“You look like my grandma who’s dead” 🤣 that is straight up out of my exes playbook. And I thought that shit was hilarious. It didn’t make me feel insecure but I certainly was like this guy is bat shit crazy and I want more. It works and not only does it work on women... it works on men too when tailored correctly. Use it! I swear I would put out so much more if guys used these techniques on me more frequently. Sounds crazy but it works.

No anything within the last year is safe as long as you didn’t have significant changes

No the photo is realistic. It’s a good photo. Your jaw line looks strong and your hair is on point. But if you want even more hits you need to add more variety. I never swipe on guys who only have one photo especially if it is not a straight on head shot. Additionally make sure your content is interesting. Most girls read the profile.

No 5 isn’t bad but there is an art to creating a profile and use of photos. You should look your best when you go on a date and look as close to possible as your photos. I suggest looking fly and taking a few more photos with a direct shot of your face. Also add photos of you doing cool stuff. Girls love a guy with a sense for adventure.

Hi. Nice to meet you. Now you have lol

I would comment back and say something along the lines of “Yeah your probably right. We should keep it in chat. You strike me as a level 5 clinger and I want to make sure I have you vetted” Insult her slightly but playfully with something along these lines. At this point you don’t have much to do. But you have to say something witty and do it quick. Lure her back in. She will feel the need to defend herself or she will see its Game and appreciate it. Either way should help.

Okay so flirting should be amusing when done right. Now for women the possibility of what could happen is great. That’s half the fun. Now with that said. I never ask a guy to do this and actually expect them to comply. I expect a witty response and some feasting. I want to see his wit and show him I am bold and have a sick sense of humor. I did go out with a guy last night who likes music and I asked him to listen to a song. I didn’t actually think he would do it. But the song is a classic by a …

Second this statement. Stop throwing yourself a pity party and put your big boy panties on. Really though read up on strategy online. I like the question technique to get guys talking. I also use teasing and fake misunderstandings to get them defensive. An example would be a guy who told me if I made him take shots of tequila he would have to hand over his house keys and I ran with that shit. Now I tease him and say he is obsessed with me because he offered me a key to his house before we even m…

Then you sir have not encountered a woman with quality game skills lol.

Yeah girl has game. Not an easy target. Play along if you are up for the challenge. I like to give guys “homework” prior to a date. I usually tell them if they want to go out with me they have to listen to X song, watch X show, read X book. All depends on the guy and what he is interested in and how that matches with what I am interested in. This sounds like the same type of ploy. If she is spitting game at you it means she doesn’t think you are a easy target, typically. I don’t waste game energ…

Part of me is tempted not to tell you but I am all out of fucks today. In no particular order: 1. Deep throat past the tonsils (my gag reflex is limited). A specific massaging motion with my mouth in known sensitive areas. Hard to explain. I learned it from watching porn lol. Kagels while a guy is inside me. Imagine a vagina trying to suck the cum right out of your dick. I have others but these are the ones I managed to incorporate last night. I would say those 3 are in my top 10 fan favorite mo…

Yeah agreed. Even more important since we had sex on date one. I flat out told him I wanted to spend time with him outside the bedroom. Normally I wouldn’t be so direct but he took the lead and was being sweet.

Oh no lol. I don’t delete dating apps until their is a conversation about being exclusive (not that I tend to have sex regularly with multiple people). Usually around date 5 or 6 that conversation comes up. But I’m not having a conversation and like updating my Facebook status until I am sure this is going to be a thing and not a 2 week fling.

Yeah I am being responsive. He has some game but seems like he genuinely wants to get to know me. So I’m trying to not be a total bitch. I just am being careful because I don’t want to come across as needy.

No. That’s not what I want. What I am looking for is taking things one step at a time. Hanging out and getting to know each other better. I could see myself actually dating this guy. I am also open to having a sexual relationship as well while we see if this could have potential. It’s crazy to think on a first date that you may commit long term to someone. For healthy well adjusted people you don’t just figure that out in date one. What I am saying is I like him and I want to see if it has the p…

I’m trying to make it easier on him. He just started texting me so that’s a good sign. So glad I didn’t have to make the first move. I hate always been to one to pull / push. It gets exhausting.

How long should I wait to text? I was thinking something along the lines of ... Hey had a nice time out last night. We should do it again soon. Something like that that gives the vibe that I’m interested but not pressing

Thanks those are awesome suggestions and I will actually be hitting the book store today. I adapt the skills to be gender appropriate. We think differently but some game does translate. My date from last night is proof. Though admittedly I went easy on him because he seems nice.

I am a woman and I will say this is 100% untrue. Yes these things help but the guy I was into for YEARS had none of these things and I still was obsessed.

Good point. I am going to think on it. Even with the most confident and independent men I seem to bring that out of them. It’s obviously something in my behavior that is causing it. Because even men who are well adjusted seem to fall into it. Have yet to find one that doesn’t get needy and clingy.

I would upvote this 10 times if I could. Excellent advise. Had not thought about changing locations. I will be incorporating that. I agree on actively squashing the clingy ness. I just wasn’t sure how effective being direct would be. Thanks for the advise! You are awesome!

I honestly don’t think it is super rare that women apply these skills. I think motives are different for each gender. I also think women are turned off my the PUA techniques are portrayed in the media. But they happily read resources like Ex Boyfriend Recovery to get the same skills. The communities are different and the framing is different but ultimately the skills appear be the same. I like to think I am a little more strategic than the average woman though 😉

Well why that is true I believe you can condition behavior which is what I am shooting for. Need to maintain my power and giving into neediness gives up my power.
