Hmm do you think a possible contributing factor is that men are now too passive? Wanting women to approach them? Women aren’t attracted to that, sorry to say.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/26 03:35 AM
2

You’re still deflecting and not really defending your claim that women should approach men other than because men are too scared to
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/26 03:25 AM
2

I mean yeah I’m not the cuck trying to assert that it’s more advantageous for women to approach men so I imagine I’ll sleep soundly.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/26 03:21 AM
2

Whatever makes you sleep better at night
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/26 03:15 AM

I would. Of course she can be a slut if she wants to. Trust that she is and while she’s at it, using you as an emotional crutch.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/26 02:57 AM

Assertive is masculine. Pen pal is she stays in touch with you for validation while she’s finding her footing or in between dicks.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/26 02:48 AM
3

Weird flex. The passive role has suited you and the more masculine woman has moved on and relegated you to pen pal. Congratulations.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/26 02:43 AM
3

So?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/26 02:38 AM

Right, so you got a masculine woman that you’re no longer with. Congratulations.

I don’t do all of the things you described but generally I do it because I’m embarrassed of my feelings about whatever upset me.

OP said “men who are afraid” so men who are afraid.

The use of toys is strange to me

No, I am confused as to why someone would choose a toy as opposed to using their hand to achieve the same outcome.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 02:31 AM

That’s just being a degenerate. Oh it’s available and an option so I’ll try it. Loser.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 02:28 AM

It’s confusing because why do you need a toy to achieve the same result lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 02:24 AM

Why do you need a toy if you have a hand?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 02:20 AM

No, I don’t understand the reason for a toy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 02:18 AM

Yes, why do you need toys if your husband isn’t available?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 01:53 AM

I don’t find enjoyment in it unless it’s shared. It’s a low tier way to make yourself feel good for a few seconds.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/26 09:53 AM

I guess you could frame it that way but I don’t necessarily see that as being wrong. Wouldn’t you frame it the same way when women say they want to have sex, get married, or have kids?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/26 10:18 PM

I’d consider a man that doesn’t want kids to be a red flag

I encourage women to approach men if all they care about is giving that man an orgasm for the night. Otherwise too emotionally risky.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 04:28 PM
3

Yeah, definitely agree that there are a lot of women that pick and choose equality when it benefits them. I don’t think any self-proclaiming feminist should expect or demand that a man pay for a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/26 04:02 AM

Idk ask a feminist or egalitarian. I’m neither.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/26 03:37 AM

Damn, imagine actually liking someone you’re dating
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/26 02:10 AM
3

It sounds like this guy needs to dodge you altogether
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 09:09 PM
6

Perfectly acceptable. I wouldn’t date men traumatized by women either.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 04:29 PM
2

Yes, they should definitely let women know that’s something they want. I personally didn’t have to be taught not to do this to know that it’s wrong but if it’s such a prevalent problem, there should be some form of legal repercussions for women that do. Though, that may be hard to prove.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 03:13 AM
3

Women should obviously not do this. Men can tell women they will want a test before they have sex. Two things can be true at once.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 02:50 AM
3

How can it be the conscious action of the woman if you haven’t had that experience with the woman in question? Unless you’ve already found out a baby wasn’t yours after you thought it was, your fear would be based on other men’s experiences with those women’s actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 02:40 AM
3

Other men’s experience with paternity fraud committed by women, I’d assume.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 02:28 AM
2

Because they don’t trust the woman they chose to have sex with
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 02:22 AM
7

I fear sexual assault is far different. It doesn’t hurt you at all to tell a woman before you have sex with her that you’d want a paternity test if she were to get pregnant. At that point, she can agree that a test can be done or choose not to have sex with you and not continue the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 02:11 AM
2

They can if they want to
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 02:02 AM
0

No doubt there are evil women who do this but if men are afraid this will happen to them, tell her before you bang her. Simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 01:55 AM
3

Why’s it so hard for you to tell a woman you’d want a paternity test before you have sex with her?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 01:47 AM
12

Talk about it before you have sex. If it’s from casual sex or ons, that’s reasonable. Ltr, naw.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 12:05 AM
1

Can you elaborate?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 11:41 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 06:59 PM

>You do recognize that stigmatizing passive men is a cultural custom intended to reinforce patriarchal social norms, right? Yes, good. >just because a guy is too shy to talk to you doesn't mean it's fair to assume he's an evil misogynist scum of the earth or something homophobic. These aren’t assumptions I make if a guy is too shy to talk to me. It’s just not a quality I find attractive.

No, it’s a made up term to describe behavior typically women feel they don’t like. Most things you can describe as “toxic masculinity” can just be toxic without attaching masculinity to it.

The dating market If you look up blue pill, red pill, and black pill, everything else is derivative of those cultural ideologies. Rise of social media and expansion of feminism No one wants to hitch their wagon to a hoe This isn’t a set number and subjective to individual preference. People want to know information about the person they’re dating and if they want to continue dating them based on their answer. Anyone can still say it’s none of someone else’s business but not sharing can disqualif…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 03:24 AM

I know I’m sexually attracted to a man if I want him to fuck me. Shared values and consistency are indicators of relationship compatibility. Which I vet for before I decide to have sex with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 12:42 AM
3

Well yeah if you’re making men wait to attach them to you, that’s not always going to produce a positive result. I wait to have sex with every man to make sure I like him, we share the same values, he’s consistent, and I can trust him. When all of those things are in place, sex is automatically better because not only am I attracted to him, I’m on my way to loving him and he’s on his way to loving me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 12:02 AM
2

And how many times has this resulted in someone you’d want a relationship with putting you in the “low value” category?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 10:23 PM
2

Same for me. I use it to flirt, build tension, and learn about the things they like.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 10:21 PM
10

No, it’s not guaranteed that you’re setting yourself up for bad sex. Sexual compatibility is very, very important. I’ve never had sex with any man quickly and have never had bad sex. Having sex quickly before you even know if a guy wants a relationship with you (and that’s what you know you want) is asinine.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 09:21 PM
14

The chances of a woman picking the wrong man because she waited to have sex I’d imagine are drastically lower than having sex with anyone right away.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 08:44 PM
6

How can it be the truth when it’s an assumption you made based on your…feelings?

If no one has a duty to society, you can’t have a society. It’s the expectation that women reproduce to continue society. Do you think the biological imperative to reproduce is also a social construct?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 02:58 AM
0

Why would it be right to not expect men to defend and protect when they’re stronger than women?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 02:46 AM
2

Because you need polarity in relationships to sustain desire. Making everyone gender fluid and equal, as OP suggests, would eliminate that. We lack polarity already which is partly why we’re in the situation we’re in with the dissatisfaction with dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 02:41 AM
1

Polarity would be nonexistent
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 02:30 AM

I’ve never heard of gender roles being mandatory. I also don’t know how you can give people more agency than they already have.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 01:35 AM

Can’t relate, I’ve never had a short relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 01:32 AM
4

I agree, women are propped up as the default victim.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 01:30 AM
-2

Why would that be better?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 01:27 AM
6

I don’t really think they’re identical issues as likely he was having sex with his ex and they didn’t get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 01:24 AM
10

I think you have to consider what was shared and with who though. Bringing your grievance to social media for a bunch of strangers to comment on isn’t necessarily going to garner the sympathy you might have been looking for. Is that right? No, not always. The masses don’t have your best interests in mind and everyone can pile it on without consequence. Was your ex receiving this sympathy mainly from you and her friends and family or did she also make a similar post on social media?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 01:19 AM
12

I think that’s what’s being said. My relationships were a waste of valuable time since they didn’t result in marriage. So OP can understand his own dissatisfaction from not getting sex, but can’t exactly understand why his ex wished they had broken up earlier instead of wasting time.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 01:03 AM
24

Well yeah relationships are pointless if you don’t get your desired outcome.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 12:37 AM

Still no. I like gender roles.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 12:19 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 04:27 PM
1

Exactly. You can never know the truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 04:24 PM

I think a man with female friends is a red flag and wouldn’t consider dating him. >It proves he can view a woman who is not a relative purely in a platonic, non-sexual, non-romantic way. It proves he finds women interesting to talk to and hang out with in a non-sexual, non-romantic way. It proves he respects women and his relationship with his girlfriend. There’s no way to prove this unless you’re inside that man’s mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 12:47 PM

We’re too individualist as a society for this to be considered the best option
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 04:48 AM

Idk how much complaining women did about men in the past. I’m sure it was still frequently but I just think it’s amplified now because of social media.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 09:53 PM

Truuuue. I also think it might be true that if they do fight, they’re mostly over whatever issue they had. I think we hold on to things longer.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 10:15 PM
1

That’s because we use gossip, slander, reputation destruction, shame etc etc to fight because we don’t typically physically fight. Also, calling someone out can very literally mean you lose all your friends so social ostracization is usually avoided.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 07:22 PM
1

Exactly lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 06:33 PM
1

I don’t care if men don’t police other men for what women perceive to be shitty behavior. Women are particularly averse to critically thinking about anything the hive doesn’t agree with or makes us feel bad about ourselves. Even if I do call something out, she’ll have 10+ other women to back her up and reinforce whatever she said.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 04:27 PM

I agree, this wouldn’t make me mad. I’d just find out quicker that we’re not compatible.

My initial reaction to those posts are “oh no please don’t do that you don’t know what the future holds” but I’m not in their position. I don’t have the burden of a male libido with the inability to utilize it.

Idk a lot of women are unhealthy and also on meds. It’s possible that a healthy woman can have a higher drive than an unhealthy man who might also be on meds.

Did you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 04:56 AM

Maybe you’re just arrogant. Here’s a little study for you that’ll explain my initial comment https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19883140/ I didn’t pull that line out of nowhere
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 04:51 AM

This is boring
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 04:46 AM

I honestly thought it’d be makeup and clothes…which would be for other people. Anyway, I wasn’t referring to consumerism in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 04:41 AM

I was just wondering what we could be buying for other people. While google says we buy more cars, it varies on home improvement and electronics.

I wonder what we’re buying the most
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 04:25 AM

Men are interested in things, women are interested in people. We’re just different, and that’s okay. People would be a lot happier in their relationships if they accepted this fundamental fact.

>They may fear rejection, lack confidence, not want to come across as creepy or intrusive, or simply need more time to feel comfortable around someone. If that’s the case, I don’t want him.

Both are gross
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 11:37 PM

Not really. Most jobs are non-essential. Plus I wouldn’t expect it to be an overnight thing, just gradual.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 05:32 PM

Removing a demographic from the workforce can potentially boost wages of those that remain. Women being encouraged to enter en masse in the 60s was a psyop to make them wage slaves and delay having a family.

No accountability

I think it’d be better for the economy if they weren’t but women have always been able to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 09:04 PM

What about it? Idk what inequality there is for employment.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 07:22 PM

Right, exactly. Thinking one option is worse doesn’t mean I’m okay with the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 05:03 PM

There’s also currently not equality for bodily autonomy as long as men are required to register for the draft.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 04:59 PM

Also a myth
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 02:07 PM
1

Sure, if you think so.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 11:00 AM
1

Oh, yeah. I’d never want to date someone equal to me, only better. Great that that works for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 06:13 AM

That’s undoubtedly what she’d also be thinking if she has privilege.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 05:46 AM

I can’t imagine a desirable man asking to go halfsies with a woman on a date
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 05:28 AM

Being a desirable man is just the equivalent of being an attractive enough woman. So, by this logic, those men would also be treating women like beggars who should be grateful those men chose to bless them with their presence. It’s the same thing. Men get the power after we’ve had sex with them. Those men enjoy the privilege too.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 05:01 AM

You’re welcome lol I’m not a slave to the hive. Just have my own opinions. Pretty sure women have also always had the option to bitch and gossip about men as well. So honestly, feminism is basically useless.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 03:02 AM

I’d call them both broken.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 12:56 AM

>Well men are creating that problem because they're listening to the women who say they want equality, so really it's men causing the problem for themselves because they listen to women. This makes sense, and I can understand the confusion of men when they listen to women who say they want equality but only picking and choosing the equality they want. Women need to pick a lane. >Access to higher education, jobs, addressing sexism and gender roles that restricted women. I mean I think you enjoy b…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 12:50 AM

>Treating equality like a one-way street exclusively to the benefit of women isn't equality at all, you know. We’ve established I think equality is a myth, so I also don’t care about double standards. >So men's odds off success are basically at the mercy of women and whether or not women feel like paying 50/50 at that particular day or for that particular guy. It would also be created by the men choosing to uphold the “sexist social standard”. >Right, not telling men to shut up and deal with it,…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 11:24 PM

Men are the gatekeepers of relationships. I don’t really know how the dynamics work in gay and lesbian relationships. I assume it’s less complicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 11:09 PM
2

It’s not women’s fault if men don’t have an abundance of options. Why should she have to lower her standards to accommodate a man’s?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 09:56 PM

>Meanwhile, men who prefer to pay for the date, are still subribing to a sexist societal standard that puts a burden on men. These are the men that have a higher chance of success with women that prefer men to pay. >And men who want 50/50 get punished whenever they match with a woman who may not feel like paying for her half on that particular day. A 50/50 man will have a higher chance of success with a 50/50 woman. >So it's still an unequal double standard and a systemic societal issue that des…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 09:51 PM

Yeah, speaking for myself, I don’t believe in egalitarianism. So I don’t care about women crying about equality either.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 07:21 PM

Not really if she doesn’t want to
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 05:56 PM

Women are the gatekeepers of sex so we have the control of terms prior to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 05:56 PM
2

Upholding infrastructure
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 03:58 PM

Yes, he’s punished unless he’s asking a woman that’s actually okay with 50/50 and it works for both of them. Sorry, but equality is a myth. As long as men want sex, women will be able to dictate how they date.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 03:56 PM
1

🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 02:24 PM
1

Because if a man pays for sex, it implies he doesn’t have the skill or self respect to get it through his own effort. If a man can lie to me convincingly enough to get me to have sex with him, he has some form of skill and has put in effort to get me to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 12:28 PM
21

So you can also understand why that’d be a weird conversation for a woman to have. If your expectation is 50/50, and you’re ghosted because you went 50/50, then you weren’t compatible anyway. I don’t see the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 04:01 AM
29

>And using 50/50 as a secret compatibility test, then ghosting someone for splitting, is just avoiding an honest conversation about expectations. It would also be avoiding an honest conversation if you don’t just say you expect 50/50 before you go on the date.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 03:19 AM
3

I didn’t say I’d enjoy being lied to. Just that I’d view a man that pays for sex as worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 03:38 AM

Pays for sex
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 02:28 AM

Yes
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 10:21 PM

I don’t really think you can compare conscription to child birth.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 01:11 AM
1

That’s just your subjective opinion and can’t be measured unless this actually happened and there was data to back it up.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 06:21 PM
1

You’re a woman so you don’t know if it’d be an upgrade for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 05:47 PM
1

Yeah, there’s no way for you to know it’d be an upgrade.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 03:44 PM
1

That’s what you hope the benefits would be. You don’t know that’s what would actually happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 03:25 PM
1

And what would the benefit of that be?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 02:54 PM
1

Don’t know why you feel the need to make men and women the same. There’s nothing wrong with men not crying to express their emotions just because women tell them they should. Social construct or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 02:33 PM
1

Men and women experience the same emotions but we don’t express or process them the same way. I doubt if you told them they’re free of this social construct they’d shift to being more feminine. Unless they already are feminine.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 02:17 PM
1

I don’t think if you removed the social constructs men would start crying more.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 01:43 PM
3

I just completely disagree that we cry more because of social constructs. That sounds ridiculous. Men and women are just different.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 01:36 PM
9

I didn’t ask what should be true, but what is true. I believe it’s true that women cry more often than men, and it’s not wrong if men can’t/don’t want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 12:01 PM
5

Is it true, in general, that women cry more than men?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 11:47 AM
7

Crying won’t solve anything, but women are more prone to shedding tears.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 04:29 AM
2

Sorry lol, just what I observe with the women around me and whatever I see online, it’s bleak. I’ll buy into the 10 year shift though.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 03:49 AM

I don’t have a lot of hope, but I’ll keep trying.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 03:20 AM

I agree, that would be nice.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 01:30 AM
13

>When I refuse to cry I'm not trying to live up to some ideal. I'm trying to focus on solving my problem. That’s just how men operate and there’s nothing wrong with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 07:33 PM

Marrying the love of my life. Can’t even fathom wanting the other option.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 02:54 AM

Maybe a man will chime in and tell you the same thing
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 04:11 PM

The only logical conclusion is to not listen to women
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 02:13 AM

That’s why you keep your tests a secret

I, personally, am not harmed by the patriarchy in any way.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 10:38 PM
3

It’s not really a punishment if he already didn’t trust me enough to know I wouldn’t cheat on him. I’d be setting him free from being with me since he clearly would’ve been going through mental anguish for 9 months suspecting I may have been carrying another man’s child.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 07:16 PM
2

Yep, mental illness
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 06:09 AM
5

Yeah, I’m sorry that happened to you and your wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 04:04 AM
9

I guess if that’s not possible, then that fear should be shared beforehand and something agreed upon.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 04:00 AM
14

I think it’d be less detrimental to a relationship to just demand one of the parents or a family member always be with the baby while they’re in the hospital.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:54 AM
17

Are you confused or something? The title of your post says if a woman hesitates on a dna test then you have to assume she cheated. I wouldn’t hesitate.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:29 AM
38

No, I wouldn’t cheat so the test would confirm he was the dad and I’d leave him for the insult and distrust.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:16 AM
40

I would do the test and then our relationship would be over
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:07 AM
9

I’m not a feminist, so I can’t really speak to that. Maybe because a lot of women will only assign other women to the perpetual victim role and not hold them accountable for their own participation in these relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:03 AM
8

You’re so right, the inability to fall for nonsense in the first place before it gets to abuse is the biggest advantage.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 02:31 AM
4

Because she’s likely mentally ill, has no boundaries, and/or might think she’d get bored with a man that would give her stability instead of chaos.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 02:29 AM

Because a lot of women are insecure/anxious/have mental health issues etc etc
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 01:42 AM

If I got to choose my husband, I wouldn’t need to be legally obligated. So, yes, I’d still get married as long as it wasn’t an arranged marriage.

Wat
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/26 01:03 PM

Totally agree
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/26 12:04 AM
0

I didn’t say that. I said I’m sure it’s sometimes the case that men who decide to do that may have never had a relationship or struggle to attract women.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 10:29 PM
3

I’m not really responsible for how you choose to make assumptions about what I said. Maybe no longer in the modern sense, but the stigma stemmed from somewhere. I think passport bros that choose to find women in different countries now because they don’t like western women are justified.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 07:59 PM
2

Not what I said, but no, not necessarily.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 07:32 PM
1

I don’t think they should be sneered at but that’s just generally what people will think.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 06:09 PM
1

Well, yeah but I don’t really think men are really thought of as passport bros if they’re just going to another western country.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 06:07 PM
2

Probably from the common practice of men going to foreign countries and coming back with a woman obviously using him for money, citizenship or whatever else and then crying foul when she leaves him. Idk how common that is anymore but that’s certainly always been the societal stigma.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 06:04 PM
0

Sometimes, yeah, I’m sure that’s the case. Other men that do this after having a wife and children may just be wanting to have fun, or want to feel like hot shit somewhere that he’s a minority idk.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 05:59 PM
4

I’m partial to the Manchester accent myself lol. I can understand the novelty attraction aspect from a woman’s perspective. I think there would be two main differences for women. A man from the UK isn’t as culturally different to a woman from the US, as say, a man from Uzbekistan. So the man from the UK wouldn’t necessarily be so “exotic” as OP framed it. Second, women in the west don’t typically have an issue attracting men, no matter where that man is from.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 02:53 PM
25

Men can absolutely go to other countries to get a woman. It’s not going to change the knee jerk thought that he couldn’t attract women where he originally came from.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 02:05 PM
3

So it would appear you were deceived as well
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 06:36 PM

Men obviously feel these women to be deserving of this setup in some way or they wouldn’t do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 04:47 PM

That’s true
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 12:16 PM

I’m a woman lmao I know how devious we can be. Do you think her saying she’s happy, while also cheating on her man, isn’t devious? You think she’s actually being honest with you?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 11:48 AM
8

Women in happy relationships don’t cheat, men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 11:38 AM

For men*
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 11:24 AM
1

That’s true. I’d be deathly afraid he’d get hurt or arrested. But yes, I’d want him to be capable of violence if necessary. I would just never instigate a situation where it’d be necessary.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 04:10 AM
2

Sorry, I’m not sure if I understand your question. Do you mean like if a man is the one doing this on his own? Like being confrontational with other men?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 02:10 AM
6

I don’t think tests like this are acceptable or justifiable. I would personally feel immense guilt if I ever put my man in a position like that on purpose. Men’s willingness to protect can be observed through their character and shouldn’t have to be put on display to prove something. So, yes, if I were a man, I’d think behavior like this would be a massive red flag.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 02:08 AM
5

That’s definitely possible. They also probably don’t respect him and think he’s a pussy. Trying to test if he’ll defend her.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 01:47 AM
6

It’s terrible, yes. Especially when they put another man in danger for their actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 01:35 AM
6

Because they know how slim the chances are that he’d actually hit them back
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 01:32 AM
2

Because it’s not fried from porn lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 11:29 AM

Not watching or reading porn doesn’t mean those things are absent.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 11:16 AM

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 10:59 AM
1

No, neither
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 10:48 AM

I’ve never heard a woman irl say “I’m so happy my man watches porn”.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 10:33 AM

I think they’re broken
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 10:06 AM

I’m not friends with men, specifically for this reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/26 10:21 PM

Even if she is, she might still have feelings for the guy.

Don’t let the feminists gaslight you
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 02:05 AM

Correct. Men aren’t until they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 12:10 AM
0

Definitely. I wasn’t aware that wasn’t just widely known.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 11:25 PM
3

Guys don’t really like the fact that they have to do things and put in work and effort to be attractive to us. Men become, women are.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 11:10 PM
9

Okay, but don’t expect women to respond to this the same way men do. We’re not the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/26 11:10 PM
1

One is desperate and/or lazy and the other’s a hoe. Neither are particularly desirable.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/26 07:45 PM
1

Yikes
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 03:51 PM
7

Yes. I’ve never cheated, but I wouldn’t respect a man that stayed with me after I disrespected him.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 01:56 AM
4

That’s how it should be. I don’t bring up my struggles to a boyfriend unless they pertain to our relationship. He can’t relate, and likely, can’t fix it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 01:54 AM
2

I’m saying it’s not the right carrot to dangle
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/26 10:56 PM
4

Because most women have their own money and won’t need a man’s money as a reward. Attention from the man we’re interested in/love is something more valuable.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/26 09:10 PM
10

Actually, the more effective option would be to treat attention as a reward.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/26 06:41 PM
1

It’s not coercive just because you say so though. Agree to disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 02:40 AM
1

So not tolerating the other person getting a tattoo is something they won’t tolerate. They have a choice to get the tattoo or not, or suffer the consequence or not. Should they just let them get the tattoo without saying anything first and then break up with them after they get it?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 02:24 AM
11

They must be. I’m baffled by the interrogations these ladies must be going through.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 02:15 AM
1

How is it not a boundary? Just because it wasn’t stated at the beginning of a relationship? If you change your mind in the middle of a relationship that you don’t like tattoos and say “If you want to get a tattoo, I won’t be in this relationship anymore.” That’s a boundary and not controlling. The other person still has the option to get a tattoo and also leave the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 02:09 AM
13

Are you getting a play by play of every sexual experience this woman has had for comparison purposes or what?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 02:00 AM
2

I said >“I will leave this relationship if you get a tattoo.” That person still has the free will to choose to get the tattoo or not. This is just stating a boundary. You said that’s still an attempt to force control. So are you walking that back now?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 01:54 AM
2

Having boundaries isn’t an attempt to force control. It’s letting someone know what you’re willing to deal with within a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 10:54 PM
2

There’s no forcing control in making the statement “I will leave this relationship if you get a tattoo.” That person still has the free will to choose to get the tattoo or not. This is just stating a boundary.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 09:37 PM
1

The draft is the government having rights over someone else’s body lmao you’re lost. I’m done discussing this with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 03:47 PM
1

So, back to my equal rights question that you didn’t answer. Why aren’t women required to register for the draft at 18 and why don’t men have any rights when it comes to abortion if we have equal rights?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 03:39 PM
1

Okay, please explain to me how we’re the same then.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 03:32 PM
1

Lol I’m not equal to a man because men and women are different. Something a lot of people have trouble accepting.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 03:27 PM
1

That’s just your opinion formed by whatever brainwashing you’ve been exposed to. Idk how you can prove that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 03:20 PM
1

Yeah, feminine men probably do see them that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 03:15 PM
1

No, polarity is the contrast between masculine and feminine. “For the most part” isn’t equal, and no, I don’t care about having equal rights.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 02:52 PM
1

You just switched it from polarity to trad wife. We don’t have equal rights. In the US, men are required to register for the draft at 18.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 02:43 PM
1

It’s not provided by society, it’s the acknowledgment that men and women are different. I mean, we don’t even have equal rights today. Are women forced to sign up for the draft at 18? Do men have any rights when it comes to abortion?

Yes, I want to be lead and not have to worry about having the final decision making power. And so what if my role benefits me? I wouldn’t be with a man that didn’t want the same setup. Polarity isn’t an act, equality is because it can never be achieved.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 02:26 PM
2

But if she has a connection with him, and he can’t provide resources, then that’s not an excuse for leaving him if that’s something she wants in a man. So to your question, I’ll answer personally. I don’t want to be in charge. I’d rather provide value in a relationship through things more suited to me than being a provider. I believe in traditional gender roles, and don’t want to kill polarity in my relationship by taking on a masculine role. I want to know it’ll be my job to take care of my hus…

Can you answer my question? Then I’ll answer yours.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 01:30 PM
3

Okay, say she has a connection with him but he can’t provide resources. She should stay with that man even though she also wants a man that can provide resources?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 01:19 PM
11

> The connection with another human comes last So are women just supposed to make it work with men they’re incompatible with just because she has feelings for him?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 01:10 PM
1

So dealbreakers, preferences, and boundaries shouldn’t be communicated within a relationship then. Is that right? Or is stating these things also coercion, even if they arise years into a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 12:36 PM
3

Those people should probably develop the mental strength to leave or they can continue to suffer.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 03:23 AM
7

She would also have the option to leave the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 02:55 AM

If they’ve agreed to monogamy, I’d think it’d range from disrespectful to cheating. Otherwise, I’d guess it depends on the couples boundaries.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 01:05 AM
1

Okay, so that can be true for some women for short term relationships. Who, almost certainly, would want a long term relationship with a man she finds that attractive if that wasn’t all he had to offer or if that man also wanted a long term relationship with her.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 05:55 PM
3

Not sure how this refutes my point. Pretty much proves it in the first sentence you quoted. I also never differentiated between short term and long term relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 05:27 PM
7

No, I’m saying the male body itself isn’t the central appeal as it is for men regarding women’s bodies. Our attractions to the opposite sex are never going to be the same/fair/or equal. The sooner men (and women) accept this, the better.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 05:08 PM
3

> Because for many women, the male body itself was never the central appeal. Because we’re not men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 04:06 PM

Dating is never going to be fair. Instead of being fair to get, women need to be worthy to get.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 12:37 PM

I don’t care if whoever’s making it is having the time or their life. It wouldn’t change my opinion of it overall.

Well, I agree with you. Toys aren’t a necessity either.

Not really. It’s not on other people to change their expectations to include the individual or make them comfortable.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 01:55 AM

This is true. If it happens, the lesson should be learned the first time.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 07:44 PM

The only thing you listed that can’t be changed is height though. At some point, people have to take accountability that the problem might be themselves.

Well if you’re struggling then you’re somewhat failing
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 04:24 PM

I’m sure there are guys in Wisconsin I’d be attracted to lol but if there was a handsome rapture, I still suspect it’d recalibrate if I somehow developed a crush.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 04:20 PM

After a man passes the looks threshold, my attraction to him is always contextual. So I would assume it’d recalibrate.

Sounds like a lot lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/26 02:20 AM

Maybe not, depends on the man.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 11:48 PM

Because anything worth having will require work and effort. Especially maintaining a long term relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 11:39 PM

They’re not interested in a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 10:49 PM

True
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 10:45 PM
5

I would only “need” to cook (need as in I’d feel like it was my duty) if I was a sahw/sahm. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies, but if I’m working and a man also feels entitled to having me also be responsible for cooking every single meal, it would quickly no longer be enjoyable and I’d resent him.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 02:03 PM

I’d pray that there were some men among them that would lead them out of that mindset.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 12:18 PM

I truly don’t understand why any woman would have to approach a man. Smiling at them, or making eyes, is enough of a signal to know if he’s attracted enough to approach you himself.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 05:51 PM
2

I can’t think of a specific example right now in media, but I know those type of male characters weren’t my favorite until they had an edge.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 11:32 AM
1

No, I wouldn’t enjoy it if there weren’t mutual feelings involved.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 11:07 AM

That’s true. I haven’t looked into if there’s any data for outcomes with even 50/50 split where the parents have a healthy co-parenting relationship though.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 11:37 PM
1

Actually, it wasn’t. I’ve seen answers from men on men’s subs here say the opposite. Men like to pursue and don’t feel like they accomplished anything if the woman does all the work.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 11:34 PM
1

Okay, if I had to pursue a man, then he’s not attracted to me. That’s pathetic and men don’t respect women who approach them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 01:35 AM
1

Because masculine men go after what they want. They don’t sit back passively waiting for someone to approach them. They have a biological imperative to pursue.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 11:15 PM
1

You say it’s not feasible but I’ve already been in this kind of relationship with a blue collar man while my friends are sahms also with blue collar men. It’s not an impossibility. But if it doesn’t happen for me, oh well, I’ll be unmarried and childless.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 11:13 PM
1

Okay? That’s your opinion and you can have it
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 08:43 PM

Not to me
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 07:04 PM

It wasn’t really an ought question
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 07:01 PM
1

I can’t say I’m familiar with other comments he’s made, but that doesn’t change my answer for this one.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 10:30 AM
3

Do you think there’s any kind of significant percentage of average men that pay for it and just never say anything about it?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 10:27 AM
1

See we kinda diverge on your examples for the last question. I believe in traditional gender roles, so I expect my man to be the main provider in the relationship. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t buy him anything, treat him for surprises, or offer to pay the bill sometimes when we’re out. I don’t expect my friends to take on that role because we’re not in a romantic relationship. The planning dates and gestures thing is really annoying because a lot of men seem to gradually drop off on doing these …
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 10:24 AM
1

I expect to be my boyfriend’s number one priority whereas that’s not something I expect of my friends at all. Like, if I make plans with friends and they flake, nbd, but I’d be upset if he did the same. I also expect him to be more honest and willing to have hard conversations with me about myself and our relationship. My girlfriends tend to bullshit and positively gaslight me into a perfect baby angel who’s never done anything wrong ever lol I love them for it when I need cheering up but very o…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 04:32 AM

I expect less from my friendships than I do a boyfriend, but I value romantic relationships more than friendship.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 03:16 AM

True, I don’t wanna compete with prostitutes or shrink my dating pool even further having to disqualify any man that ever paid for sex if it was legalized.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 03:00 AM
3

Immediate break up. If I found out from someone other than him, I’d disappear without an explanation.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 02:46 AM
1

I actually like men, so maybe? I’d never be rude to a guy for approaching me unless he was disrespectful or threatening, which I’ve never experienced. But, yes, I believe the man should provide and I’ve been in that kind of relationship. I also have friends that are sahms so I know that kind of lifestyle isn’t fantasy.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 02:35 AM
1

I’m not bothered or revolted by men that approach me, even if I’m not attracted to them. I keep the traditional gender role because that’s what feels most natural to me. It’s a man’s imperative to pursue.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 02:05 AM
4

Good for them. I think if it’s amicable and the parents can come to mutual agreements, involving the court system is unnecessary.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 01:45 AM
1

That’s really nice of him to help her out for the sake of their kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 01:10 AM
2

Yes, his feelings are reasonable. She’d be the reason for the divorce if she filed for divorce. If he feels so strongly about divorce, he obviously made a terrible decision marrying her. In my scenario, she wouldn’t be an unfit mom. To him, divorcing him means he didn’t know her well enough and doesn’t trust her enough anymore. That makes her unfit to him, and he has a right to feel that way. I doubt a judge would grant primary custody on that basis, but it’s just a hypothetical.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 01:08 AM

Does your cousin travel and/or work too many hours to have primary custody? Or is that not something he would’ve been able to get if he wanted to?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 12:47 AM

Reasonable
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 11:27 PM
11

I haven’t either but, in my minimal understanding, I think in a lot of cases the higher earner pays support even if it’s 50/50 to keep the same standard of living for the kids. I think it’s less common if both parents make about the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 11:26 PM
3

It’s pointless to try to correct them
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 07:38 PM
5

What reason would I have to give up my privilege? I also would feel unnatural putting myself in that masculine role.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 06:48 PM
9

Men would be approached even less than they are now. I also don’t agree that taking initiative is submissive. This also falls apart because men are less picky. Women wouldn’t know if he actually likes her or not either because he’ll take anyone that’s fit and attractive enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 04:20 PM
1

I don’t think men and women are equals
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 11:32 AM
2

Imagine me taking an anecdote seriously enough to apply a generalization
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:08 PM
1

Men who have the most sex are outliers. So, yes, in general, men would consider it a success if they just got to have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:37 PM
2

Yes, in general, men would say it was a success if they got to smash. Women, in general, would say it was a success if they got a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:26 PM
2

Right, because just having sex for men is typically enough to consider an interaction as a success.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:39 PM
7

I don’t see it as a game, just protecting myself, having boundaries and standards. People have sex and get into relationships too easily imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 12:36 PM
5

True, no one’s entitled to a relationship and no one’s entitled to sex. It’s just good mating strategy to hold out until you get what you want first. Or we can all stay in a perpetual standoff.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 12:00 PM
0

You get it
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 01:06 PM

What’s the evil long game women would be playing in this scenario?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 04:11 AM
2

Or also just jumping to someone else. Though, they might not want to go to all that trouble if they have who they’re with even slightly on the hook. I think women deserve grace in these situations after like one incident then it’s like learn your lesson already bb.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 04:06 AM

Okay then the other 2 options
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 03:59 AM

They would get married, choose to go to prostitutes, or play an evil long game.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 03:35 AM
2

I think OP might be saying he thinks their lives are miserable, not necessarily that the lovebomber is miserable. Agree though, I think they might only be miffed if they’re out of supply.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 03:31 AM
2

Like if he collects action figures, watches cartoons or WWE, plays video or computer games excessively, has a lame sense of humor.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 01:51 AM

Feminists can’t handle the cognitive dissonance that comes with wanting a man to be in charge while also thinking she should be the one in charge.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 01:16 AM
13

Once a guy passes the looks threshold, it depends on his personality how quickly he’s a yes or no. Even if I think he’s cute, it’s an immediate no if I think he’s a dork. I’ve never been one of those “attraction grows over time” people.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 12:57 AM
5

I think there’s massive nuance between low effort, low interest, boring man and flashy, evil, lovebomber.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 12:51 AM
1

So become a charismatic player if it works so well
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 12:18 AM
0

This is their fault for having sex with you
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 12:02 AM

I mean, the only one of those issues I care about personally would be the abuse. The big issues for men that I can think of would be the draft, the favoritism of women in divorce/family court, abortion, and circumcision.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 09:50 PM
2

The former, which is mostly nonsense. If those are your examples of feminism, those things have been achieved and there’s nothing more to “fight” for. Women could own property and go to college in the mid 1800s. Women have equal pay, abortion rights, idk what you mean by equal legal freedom, and women could also divorce their husbands for abuse in the 1800s. I’m just not obsessed with equality and this fantasy that men and women are the same. If feminists cared so much about equality, they’d be …
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 09:23 PM
2

Obviously not
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 07:39 PM
1

That’s because being attracted to a man is bare minimum so that’s usually left out of the suggestions. We need more than a man that we just think is handsome or hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 07:26 PM
2

Anecdotally, I haven’t spoken to men until a year+ after a breakup.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 07:21 PM
3

They can do so and have that deluded belief. I’d encourage them to always date women with those same values and delusions.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 05:18 PM
2

You’re the one that mentioned economic freedom. The basis of feminism is to remove the patriarchy.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 03:52 PM
1

Don’t care about that either.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 03:41 PM
2

Yeah, men who don’t want the responsibility of being providers are too pussy for me. That doesn’t mean I’m attracted to abusers. I’ve never been physically, sexually, or mentally abused by a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 03:41 PM
5

I’m not a feminist, so the mismatch in values would be a disqualifier.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 02:54 PM
2

Well, I consider being a feminist as feminine in and of itself. I think anyone believing in equality between the sexes is deluded. I think men that subscribe to that ideology are either catering to women to get laid or want to be treated, by women, as women have been traditionally treated by men. This kills polarity within a relationship which is important for short and long term attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 02:36 PM
6

Too feminine for my taste
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 02:08 PM
3

lol I wouldn’t entertain disrespect either. I’m actually seen as precious to the men I’ve been with because they understand we’re not equal.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 02:08 PM
7

I have never, and will never, date a feminist man
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 01:34 PM
12

There are definitely women in relationships who cheat, but I don’t think it’s common for women to cheat in happy relationships. Men do that more often because they’re mostly interested in having sex with someone new. I’ve never cheated on anyone, and if I found myself wanting to, I’d break up with my boyfriend instead of being a coward.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 10:38 AM

Fit, taller than me, nice face, funny, charming, not a people pleasing pushover, strong boundaries (especially with me) like, literally better than me by every single masculine measure. I want someone I can look up to.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 10:56 AM

Law
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 01:14 AM

Girl, same
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 01:06 AM

I said I don’t consider them high value. And you’re just confirming my earlier comment. Whether having women in his dms after he cheats makes him high value is subjective, not objective.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 03:29 AM
1

I don’t consider men who cheat high value, no matter their status in society.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 02:24 AM
1

What does that have to do with the subjectivity of value?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 01:52 AM
2

That’s true, but wether that makes him high value is subjective. Prisoners also get fan mail.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 11:18 AM
12

Men who cheat aren’t “high value”. If he was actually “high value” he could’ve told her he’d be having sex with other women and she’d still stay with him because he’s so “high value”.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 03:18 AM
4

Another reason to make them wait
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 02:21 PM

Why would I give up my power for a little attention?

The hotter you are, the less men care about your personality
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 12:52 AM

I agree that this can work to attract sometimes initially for anxious women but rarely conducive to maintaining a relationship. So guess it just depends on if you’re just looking for hookups or ltr.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 12:50 AM

They’re not ditching them though they’re staying in the relationship until they find something better out of fear
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 07:10 PM
1

Who says they love the unattractive wives they marry?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 06:52 PM
3

Men’s desperation and lack of standards. Just because they marry those women doesn’t mean he doesn’t wish he was with someone more attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 04:57 PM

It sounds like OP is talking about getting into a relationship period, not just committing for marriage
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 04:55 PM

it’s not going to guarantee your relationship will work If it doesn’t work, you either suck or chose poorly. Both are within your control. it’s expected you will take your husband’s last name Gladly Marriage just seems like a trap to being an unpaid domestic slave for a man and kids I would willingly walk into the trap of being able to care for and nurture my own family I don't think it’s a good idea to "grow old" with someone of the male gender that is forever most sexually attracted to 18-21yr…

I didn’t make the rules, I just follow them
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 04:00 AM

The easiest option is drinks in a dimly lit bar
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 03:58 AM

It’s literally not. Dates aren’t for friend vibes, they’re for flirting.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 03:57 AM
12

How is what a man has or does not something to do with him on some level then? Women have always wanted the most capable men. Men have always wanted the most attractive women. Our mating/dating strategies have never been the same because we’re not the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 03:53 AM
29

And men “love” women for how attractive they are, not who they are

Very unsexy and platonic option
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 03:40 AM

The dumbest thing I’ve ever heard is going for a walk as a first date
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 02:34 AM

Then break up with them lol unless they’re afraid of being alone
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 07:36 PM
1

Sure, but there are more women waiting for a ring from their long term boyfriend compared to men’s proposals being rejected.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 04:32 PM
3

Fear can only be removed if risk is eliminated.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 04:31 AM
2

I don’t mean to say that the fear isn’t justified, but just saying “men aren’t afraid of commitment” is cope.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 04:19 AM
5

My point is you’ll never be able to eliminate risk with whoever you select. You can mitigate it, but you’ll never find a perfect person who’s guaranteed to not fuck you over at some point.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 04:16 AM
5

Highly selective doesn’t equate to elimination of fear. If anyone bases their own choices based on other people’s horror stories, there’s an element of fear involved in your selectively.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 03:50 AM

I’ve never wanted to bang or be in a relationship with another woman so yes
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 10:06 PM

What would they have to be redeemed for?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 04:38 PM

I mean, if you never find out then you get to remain in ignorant bliss. If you do find out, you’ll have to know the whole thing was a lie, you were used, and you wasted your time. Will probably result in trust issues going forward.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 09:35 PM

I didn’t blame the men, I congratulated them.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 08:17 PM

Lmao what?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 07:23 PM
5

No, it doesn’t matter if the man also wants to remain ignorant that his wife/gf may not actually be physically attracted to him. Though, judging by this sub, that seems to be a lot of men’s worst fear.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 06:17 PM
18

It only happens for me contextually
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 04:47 PM
5

It doesn’t generate raw physical attraction, only attraction to status and resources.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 03:51 PM
6

I’m not saying it’s absolutely true for all situations but it could be true from the example of the women you know based on “she still accepts it because men with status are rare.”
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 02:52 PM
19

Probably because disrespect and embarrassment doesn’t feel good, even if it comes from a stranger. Sounds like these women also have low self esteem, so congrats to those men for choosing women who will suffer to be associated with their status.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 02:41 PM
23

Then those women don’t love those men. They only stay for status and resources, which is OP’s point.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 02:24 PM
10

A lifetime of affirmation. Family, friends, and boyfriends always telling me how funny and quick I am.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/26 05:03 PM
8

Yeah, that’s why I need my man to keep up with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/26 04:49 PM
9

Besides how attractive I think a guy is, if I don’t think he’s funny, I pretty much know we won’t click.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/26 04:29 PM

while it's the true reality of every woman on this planet. No wonder why men would think you’re exaggerating.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/26 10:10 AM
2

My ideal man would have sex with me, so, no
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/26 12:21 AM
2

I mean, I’m probably the wrong person to ask because I never say no, so I’d only really be like please yes do that if I was sick or injured.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/26 10:49 PM
1

Nope, not at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/26 08:54 PM
1

You can be lazy and also maintain solo sexual activity. They’re not mutually exclusive. If I’m available to have sex with, I can only attribute choosing to masturbate instead to laziness or finding me unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/26 01:36 AM
1

If I’m there, and I’m not hungry, I won’t be eating. I don’t eat snacks at restaurants, so I guess I also won’t be eating in that scenario either.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 11:51 PM
1

So if I’m there, and I’m hungry, I’m going to have a meal. If I wanted a snack at the restaurant, I wouldn’t go to the kitchen and help myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 11:20 PM
1

I wouldn’t go to a restaurant if I wasn’t hungry
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 11:05 PM
0

Sure, but if I’m at my favorite restaurant, I’m having a meal.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 10:51 PM
2

Well I’m not interested in men that aren’t bold enough to pursue me.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 04:12 PM
2

Sounds lazy to me
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 03:52 PM
1

I don’t like any of it besides him taking care of himself if I’m not available
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 02:50 PM
4

I don’t understand why he’d choose to do that instead of have sex with me
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 02:44 PM
3

I don’t like any of it within a relationship. I don’t really care about him taking care of himself if I’m not available though.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 01:51 PM
3

Cognitive dissonance
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:40 PM
6

And what about it? Lol even if it is sexism, doesn’t mean it’s not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:38 PM
6

Any man I’d be interested in would
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 08:00 PM
5

I would only pay reparations to my husband lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 07:25 PM
1

If he has homosexual proclivities, I wouldn’t categorize him as heterosexual. Heterosexuality may be tied to the male gender role but that doesn’t mean it is a gender role.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 07:23 PM
6

Men and women aren’t equal. And never will be.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 07:19 PM
6

Because men go after what they want. If I had to chase him, he wouldn’t be in to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 07:18 PM
8

No, but I’m sure some women do. I’d feel pathetic chasing a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 06:12 PM
3

Heterosexuality isn’t a gender role
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 05:20 PM
2

Yeah, oh well
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 08:34 PM

Because they’d rather think, or brainwashed to think, they want men to be more like women (in touch with their feelings) in the name of equality.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 07:05 AM

Yes, and men’s first problem was ever listening to women in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 02:23 AM

Women may be too masculine now, but men are also too feminine. This contributes to lack of attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 02:09 AM

This isn’t even real
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 04:37 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 12:45 AM

Both can be true
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 05:27 PM

I can see how that can be true
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 01:30 PM

I don’t think that’s new either. It’s not something really on our radar unless we’ve taken the time to research it. I don’t think women are lying so much as just being ignorant.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 01:26 PM

This has always been the case. It’s not a new development. The majority of men throughout history haven’t reproduced. Our section of history isn’t special just because we have dating apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 01:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 04:17 AM

You’re gonna get a lot of these same answers from degenerate men
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 04:14 AM
5

Exactly
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 02:28 PM
4

I agree with the anxious avoidant trap but I don’t necessarily think avoidants are exclusively manipulative. I think anxious men are just as, if not more, likely to manipulate to control the relationship and their own feelings. And also the feelings of the woman they’re with. Maybe that’s something classified as toxic anxious. Also, like how many times have you heard of women noting that a man brought up how toxic his ex was. They do it a lot too. And when we hear a man say this, we’re like hmmm…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/26 02:25 AM
5

Have you considered the women who claim to have a toxic ex either lack accountability for their own part in the relationship or that they’re severely anxious and insecure, and therefore attracted to the men that trigger those feelings for them because it’s familiar?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/26 01:03 AM

Banter is in the top 5 of importance to me. I don’t want them walking on eggshells with me so I’ll say something “offensive” so they know they’re safe. It’s how I test their wit, intelligence, and coolness.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 10:30 AM

Does empathy for gendered societal issues of women matter to YOU? No lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 11:28 AM

I think it’s gotta be a social media mind virus. In my experience, most men are just normal.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 11:23 AM
1

I can see how that can happen. Though it can happen to experienced men too, they might just not take it as hard. Happens to women too tbh. Have you ever been on a date and ended it early?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 11:21 AM
3

What do you mean one of those people lol Yeah, definitely have known off the bat the chemistry wasn’t there right away but that wouldn’t mean that I’d like walk out or be awkward or rude. I’d still make the most of it. It’s not that hard to send a text or get one either. Sometimes it’s just a mutual slow fade. That just happens. It can’t work out with everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 03:26 AM
3

No, I actually find it enjoyable and exciting. I like to have fun, always approach it really positively. I think the men I go out with can tell I’m happy to be there with them and not acting like I’m doing them a favor. I prefer to be in a relationship but I’ve never found it exhausting because I’m outcome independent.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 03:11 AM
10

I’ve had a similar experience. I’ve genuinely never been on a date with a man I’d consider a bad person or even shown obvious, glaring red flags. I’m truly baffled by the amount of complaints I see women make online about men. Like, 1. Where are you finding them? and 2. Why are you attracting them?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 07:42 PM
17

It’s not terrible for me. But I don’t seem to encounter these men other women complain about so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 04:50 PM
4

Yeah, because that phase of a kid’s life lasts forever. I couldn’t possibly find the time to do anything I personally enjoy solo for the rest of my life.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 11:12 AM

Because I don’t want to and I can’t imagine a man wanting to do that either. Please explain to me what I’d be getting from a male friend that I wouldn’t get from a boyfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 10:48 AM
2

It’s really funny that all of you clearly only deal with anxious, degen women and can’t comprehend someone actually keeping their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 06:10 AM
1

If you think men and women are the same, then I can understand why those people think men and women can be friends. I don’t. I’m not gonna hang out with a guy as a friend and talk to him about my hair and skincare routine, the new makeup I got, paint our nails, gossip, cry about something stupid, talk about guys and dating, share clothes, go shopping etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 05:52 AM
2

Because we’re both women that relate to each other in sharing that experience lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 05:33 AM
1

Well, I don’t see any reason to be friends with men. The only close relationship I need with a man is with a boyfriend or husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 04:42 AM
1

I think it’s extreme to think having to spend “a lot” of money means someone’s not into you.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 04:29 AM
4

Men are free not to spend their money on women and I’m not complaining about their standards. They can uphold them and women can uphold theirs.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 04:15 AM
1

Because there’s so many instances of one or both being attracted to the other, had a crush on the other, or they’ve hooked up in the past. I don’t see why any man would want to be platonic friends with a woman unless he’s also feminine.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 03:44 AM
1

I’m fine being friendly with them and being surface acquaintances but if I’m going to have a close, deeper relationship with a man, I’ll just be in a relationship with him. I don’t think men and women can be platonic friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 02:59 AM
1

Why what?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 02:44 AM
3

No, I’m saying that’s not always true. A woman not wanting to lower her standards doesn’t mean she doesn’t like the guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 02:13 AM
1

I probably don’t use the term friend as loosely as other people. If I like a man enough to consider him a friend, I’d probably just rather be in a relationship with him. I consider most men to just be acquaintances.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 01:41 AM
1

Or she values her standards more than a stranger
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 01:17 AM
1

Sure, I just don’t know how you arrive at the claim that a woman doesn’t like you if she keeps her standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 11:09 PM
3

Same kind of broken logic that leads you to believe a woman that likes you will lower her standards just because she likes you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 11:02 PM
1

Same kind of broken logic that leads you to believe a woman that likes you will lower her standards just because she likes you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 11:01 PM
3

You’re not required to do anything. And women aren’t required to lower their standards just because she likes you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 10:41 PM
4

This argument is the equivalent of “no one approaches me because I’m too pretty”
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 10:40 PM
6

Idk how you can possibly make that claim. There are women that won’t fold for a walk in the park.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 07:54 PM
2

Or she just has standards she won’t lower.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 07:32 PM
4

Not really if the woman has her own standards. You’re free to not meet them.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 07:31 PM
1

I would also argue for men to participate in feminism, they have a fear of not being able to have sex. I think men are less susceptible to groupthink and more often than not, hide how they truly feel to not ruffle feathers. Tate is the opposite of that, definitely.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 07:29 PM
1

if you have to spend more than a lot on a date she’s not that into you Spending a lot of money or not doesn’t determine how much someone’s into you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 06:32 PM
1

Agree, no notes. Except for the performative men that label themselves feminists to get laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 06:18 PM

Spending a lot of money or not doesn’t determine how much someone’s into you. You’re allowed to have your own standards and find women compatible with those standards.

If there’s an implied fear: “they’re afraid of bad commitment” there would likely have to be some form of distrust with yourself in making the incorrect decision. There’s no option but to never commit to anything to bring the risk in committing to 0.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 02:26 PM
1

Which a lot of people just don’t do
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 12:56 PM

It’s true interest is lost over time but I think men are more likely to drag a relationship out because they don’t have as many options as women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 12:26 PM

It doesn’t take anyone that long to confirm they’re not into the other person. The problem arises when one person knows they’re not into the other but continues to date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 11:54 AM

A lot of people hold out for the perceived risk to be 0. That leaves you in analysis paralysis making you an indecisive fence sitter.

That’s called dating. Most people don’t end up in relationships with every person they date. And he would obviously have the freedom of choice to choose the best option for himself. I’m not changing my values and standards just because I might miss out on locking a man down if I don’t have sex with him before I’m ready.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 11:13 AM
2

I didn’t say he wouldn’t care about sex. I didn’t even say he couldn’t have sex with other women if he wanted to while dating me. It just wouldn’t be with me until we both decide we’re gonna be in an exclusive relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 03:50 AM

Then why is there so much fear from men being settled for for their resources instead of raw physical attraction? Are the men with this fear just lacking enough resources and don’t care about being settled for for resources they don’t have? And older men don’t care as much if the woman has the physical attraction for him and just accepts she only entertains him for his resources and/or status?

/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/26 12:39 AM

True, I just mainly pointed it out because a lot of guys here say they’ll drop whoever they go on a date with if that’s not what they’re getting from her. I imagine older men might get that even less.

Of course we can. But if a woman doesn’t want to, she can go for a man that already has them.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 11:46 PM

I believe the evolutionary trend of men generally preferring younger women and women generally preferring older men, which still continues in the modern day They’re less averse because they want resources. Godspeed to the older men that want raw, animalistic desire from the women they’re with.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 11:34 PM
16

Women don’t generally prefer older men. We may prefer the stability an older established man has for his resources, or status, but if a man our age has similar resources and status, we’d choose the one closer to our age.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 11:13 PM

None of this refutes that if men chose to take women’s rights away, they could, because women can’t apply force to men. Destabilized and poorly developed countries are all still enforced by men.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 04:08 PM

Doesn’t matter. Weaker men are also dominated by stronger and more powerful…men.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 02:08 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 11:48 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 11:36 AM

When it comes down to it, men are physically stronger than women, and if they collectively decided to enslave women, they could. It’s a very simple concept, and there’s no need to broaden that scope because it’s irrefutable.

My original point was most women will not stay with their husband because he’s not attractive enough to pull that off. Even if he thinks sleeping with younger women makes him attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 11:55 AM

No, it doesn’t. It doesn’t even make him 10% if he tells his wife beforehand and she stays. The wife either doesn’t love/isn’t attracted to her husband anymore and wants to continue getting his resources or she just has no backbone.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 11:40 AM

No, I wouldn’t. Most women aren’t married to top 10% men. You might be an exception to the rule, unless you’re in the top 10%. Most women who would stay in this situation don’t love their husband and only stay for the resources.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 11:26 AM

True, but most women won’t go along with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 11:13 AM

Because there are women that shame men for standards they don’t meet
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 07:48 PM

If we’re with a man that watches porn, he’s settling for us. If a man is with a woman who didn’t have sex with him as fast as she had sex with someone else, she’s settling for him.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 05:12 PM

I’m not assuming it was caused by you, but I can assume you contributed to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 03:09 PM

Sounds like you’re not good at it if you’ve already been divorced, so there’s really no need to try again if you’re happy with your life as is.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 02:48 PM
1

That’s show biz
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 08:16 PM

I’m not a feminist, so I’m okay with double standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 11:53 AM
2

How so?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 11:06 AM
1

What’s your point? That was your argument. I think both have financial and parental responsibility at conception. I still believe if a woman can opt out, a man should be able to choose to do so also.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 04:52 AM

Please find an older man irl to guide you out of this absolute doomer mindset
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 04:45 AM
1

Yes
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 03:39 AM
1

It’s both
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 03:31 AM
1

So what is a woman aborting if it doesn’t exist?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 03:24 AM
1

Yes, definitely harder to find but I don’t think I’d compromise on bringing kids into the world if I can’t raise them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 03:23 AM
0

So if they can’t ID the dad, and he has no parental or financial obligations until the child is born, there’s no reason to deny him opting out of financial responsibility pre birth if the woman can opt out of parental and financial responsibility pre birth as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 03:10 AM
1

If a child only legally exists after birth, people wouldn’t be convicted of double homicide for killing a pregnant woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 02:23 AM
1

They have no legal authority over their own child after it’s conceived but still have to be financially responsible? Makes no sense. They have no say for a child they took part in reproducing. A woman should also be able to financially abort if the father wants to raise the child and she doesn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 01:52 AM
1

Yes, you can. By giving men reproductive rights after conception.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 01:24 AM
1

Men can’t lol. Just say you don’t actually believe in equality, it’s okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 01:10 AM
1

Yes, they can. It’s called adoption.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 12:54 AM
1

No, men should have rights after conception just as women do. Your suggestion is to give men even less rights.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 12:36 AM
2

So what? That doesn’t change the fact that women have all the say after conception.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 12:27 AM
0

It doesn’t matter who can actually have the abortion. Women get to choose if they want one or not. Men have no reproductive rights after conception at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 12:14 AM
-1

Nah, because if they both want the child, they should both have parental rights. When a woman gets an abortion, more times than not, she’s avoiding responsibility for her actions. A man should have the same opportunity to avoid responsibility for his actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 12:07 AM
0

That would be fair too except I don’t think a majority of women would want to go through multiple pregnancies just to spread their genes. I also don’t think they’d want to really give them up either.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 11:38 PM
1

Because that’s just naturally who he is and what he does. It’s not contingent on how long he’s known whoever he’s asked on a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 11:33 PM
0

There should be a cut off time to opt out, just like there is for abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 10:25 PM
2

Is what I said sufficient or am I missing something? Do you define it differently?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 09:51 PM
0

I’ll say it again, as long as a woman is legally allowed to have an abortion, a man should be able to opt out as well. It’s the only logically consistent option for the people who want equality.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 09:47 PM
3

Well, it’s not like I’m a homesteader but I believe in traditional gender roles. Ideally, my husband would be the leader of the family and I’d defer to him. I’d wanna be a homemaker and take care of the kids, cook, and clean. Pretty normal stuff. I’ve never slept around, if that’s what you’re really trying to ask.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 09:27 PM
2

Yeah, I’m not having kids if I can’t stay home with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 09:14 PM
3

I am, and no lol
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 08:05 PM

It’s not a need, just a want. Reality may have shifted, but I haven’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 07:42 PM

Because it demonstrates he’s likely more traditional and capable/willing to provide. Whereas the guy that wants to split would not be.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 07:23 PM
3

I don’t feel entitled. I have no problem paying if he asks, but I wouldn’t go out with him again. I’m not compatible with men that would ask to split.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 07:00 PM
11

No, I never offer to pay and I’ve never been asked to. I don’t do anything when the bill comes to the table. If a man ever asked me how we should handle the bill, I’d pay for the whole thing and there wouldn’t be another date.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 04:44 PM

I answered the main question of your post.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 04:09 PM

I do
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 03:51 PM

I don’t think there needs to be a further push for gender equality because men and women will never be equal.

That’s true

Does this prove that woman almost in most circumstances will never try to initiate? Just wait all day for the guy? Yes
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 11:08 PM

Nah, it’s not performative if he’s actually masculine and does it in a teasing way. Women that want egalitarian relationships certainly can open their own doors if they want. That’s not me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 10:48 PM

Not to me, I think it’s fun. Better than running around the car like a dork.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 09:47 PM

Masculine woman: controlling, competitive, outspoken, defensive, challenging, self-reliant, aggressive, direct, vulgar, leans more towards logic over emotion (outside of romantic relationships), ambitious, structured Feminine women: nurturing, empathetic, pleasant, more emotionally expressive, playful, graceful, trusting, cooperative, soft, secure, emotionally vulnerable, appreciative, receptive, kind, collaborative
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 01:15 PM
3

I agree that there are varying degrees of all of these but I think it matters which ones are more dominant. You can frame opening the car door for a woman differently. Say a man parks the car, the woman reaches for the door handle, and he playfully says “don’t fucking touch that”. He’s operating under the conditions he wants, not necessarily what will please her. Even if it does as a result. Running around the car to open the door for a woman can look like the man is desperate and the woman is e…

*more empathy, *more emotionally expressive. not being cooperative can mean he’s not a people pleaser, which is more attractive to me personally. I’ve never had a bad experience with a masculine man like I described so there’s nothing to really feel sorry for.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 02:10 AM

Masculine man: competent, confident, protective, has boundaries, decisive, has emotional control, physically strong, leads, assertive, brave, competitive Feminine man: wishy washy, emotionally expressive, physically weak, cooperative, follower, more communicative with feelings, lacks courage, more empathy, passive, conflict avoidant
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 01:57 AM

I don’t see how it’s raising the bar for masculinity unrealistically. It might seem unrealistic for more feminine men.

They think you’re lying
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 10:41 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 07:07 PM

I don’t understand women who are in happy relationships not wanting to have sex with their man.

That’s been my experience but apparently I was wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 03:44 AM

I do these kinds of things. I guess I just never categorized them as romantic gestures so much as wanting to do something nice for him.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 03:43 AM

I didn’t say they wouldn’t have appreciated it. Just that they never told me they wanted romantic gestures.

OP’s premise was the squabbling over semantics though. In my opinion, women are more prone to attacking a man (or another woman) first if they don’t like what was said. Women don’t necessarily view the topic at hand on a wider scale because of our solipsism. We’ll nitpick something to hell if we don’t like how what was said makes us feel. I also think women are more likely to use snark and belittle, though I also get that impression from feminine men as well. So if we’re talking about women and …

Because when you’re discussing something with us, anything you say that we perceive may make us wrong or look bad doesn’t feel good, so we derail to try to make you look bad/wrong, or dumb.

I care, personally. I wouldn’t date a man that’s ran through women, still in contact with exes, been married, has kids, legal trouble etc etc. Other women can feel differently though.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 03:45 AM

Women need to be shamed more
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 03:33 AM

Don’t we also share a lot of dna with bananas? Don’t worry about this child you’re raising not actually being yours. Have a banana.

Think of them as a man that wants arm candy for social proof. Edit: height for women can be for social proof as well but that preference is also biological.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 03:26 PM

I think the women that vocalize their preference for bigger usually do so for perceived social superiority over other women or just as another shaming tactic towards men.

I’m sure you know women as a whole lack accountability. We also react to criticism different than men. It makes us shrink, even if constructive. I truly don’t think we’ll turn it around until healthy men hold men accountable and healthy women hold women accountable. Easier said than done when doing so can result in social isolation.

You sound insufferable tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:54 PM

But we already know men have sex with unattractive women just to have sex. If a very unattractive man marries a very unattractive woman, he’s likely settling because that’s all he can get. Guarantee he’d rather be with someone infinitely more attractive than his wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:51 PM
1

It’d be relevant if they’re married or just sexually active. If they’re married, and the man is similarly unattractive, he likely has other attributes that contributed to her agreeing to marry him.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:21 PM

Sorry, I should’ve worded it better. I can see how it reads like that. I’ve watched both of those videos! I really like Kait’s content. Here’s a longer one that I suspect prompted OP’s post https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lsy41uI1dmY&pp=ygUSZHIgZGFuaSBzdWxpa293c2tp

Not everyone who waits actually gets to have a family at all. I don’t know anyone who’s started a family younger say they regret it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 04:47 AM

It’s to prioritize your career and wait to start a family. Which the majority of women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 04:21 AM
4

Oh, word? According to this thread, these women don’t exist and you must be making them up lol
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 03:15 AM
1

I never did
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 03:14 AM
3

Yeah, I didn’t call it a crisis. Hope you have more empathy for the women you know if they ever find themselves in that position.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 03:01 AM
2

Right, so you don’t know if they’ll be upset if they don’t have kids. I don’t know that many older women but I’ll say at least 3.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:38 AM
5

Enough to know it’s not a myth
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:30 AM

Okay, so have they or have they not missed their chance to have them yet? If not, they haven’t gotten to the point of regretting missing out.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:30 AM
4

No, I don’t think there’s anything outwardly (besides like some online discourse about kids ruining your life) discouraging having kids but definitely delaying it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:28 AM
2

I guess it would make sense you haven’t if the women you know never wanted kids
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:25 AM

Lmao okay you’ve never heard of a woman being sad she missed her chance to have a family? Give me a break.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:18 AM

Yeah, all of those things can be factors too. Doesn’t mean women don’t fall for the overall societal messaging and then wind up regretting it later.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:17 AM

You’re the one calling it a crisis. It doesn’t have to be a crisis to also be a reality for some women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:12 AM

It’s not something important to you but obviously something to be sad about for other women who realize what they missed out on when it could be too late.

It’s a good thing you wouldn’t grieve being single and childless over 35 then.

Single and childless
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:00 AM

It’s really unfortunate that these women were lied to by society growing up. Being told to prioritize career over starting and maintaining a family results in the women you’ve described.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 01:56 AM
2

And how many of these unattractive women are married to someone similarly unattractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:59 AM

I don’t think it’s a virtue, just smart mating strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:48 AM

Meanwhile, men’s initial screening filter: hot
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:17 AM
3

Mine would probably be athletic, taller than me (not that hard, but I do want to feel small and protected), nice face. I don’t really watch stand up but like Theo Von, anyone with dark witty humor, and British men are who I find the funniest. Edit: also…you said “very physically attractive” if hot doesn’t cover very physically attractive, what other things encompass that that don’t include a pretty face and body?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 11:58 PM
5

Well, you said as long as she’s hot you’ll give her a try and asked why don’t we do the same? So that’s where that answer came from. My barrier for entry personally is attractive, same values/politics, and funny. If he meets those standards, we can go from there and filter for other dealbreakers.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 11:26 PM
5

Men and women are different. We need more than being “very physically attractive” to want to be in a relationship with a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 10:28 PM
3

Don’t forget the accusations of actually being a man lol

I guess I can see how it might fall under the umbrella of feminism. But only in the way that many women identify as feminists and are also women. I’ll have to check out helen andrews to see how it ties in.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 10:31 PM

But see I don’t get used for sex because I’m okay with a man bowing out before I’m ready to do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 07:44 PM

Then pay for dates and accept that some women you take out will be shitty and use you for money. Or don’t date at all. You do have options.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 07:11 PM

Some women are okay with these dates. Find one you’re attracted to and live blissfully.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 05:51 PM

This isn’t feminism. It’s inherent female sexual competition.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 05:36 PM

I'm saying that men mostly when they think they are good - they aren't. If men mostly think they’re good, but you think they’re bad, why would you expect them to defend you?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 04:18 PM
2

That sucks, and definitely not something that should’ve been allowed to continue without consequences.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 04:15 PM

Your opinion is even when men say they’re good men, they’re not. Why would you expect men who you think are bad to want to defend you?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 04:13 PM
2

Sorry, I meant what happened during the actual incident?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 03:42 PM
3

What actually happened to her?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 03:32 PM
3

That’s your opinion of those men though. That doesn’t necessarily make it true.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 03:30 PM
6

Yeah, I just disagree that there are no good men. I don’t know a single man that wouldn’t take issue with a woman being groped at work. It’s not like women are exactly coming to a man’s defense when they’re being piled on by the hive. Women need to be better at policing women too. I can understand why a man wouldn’t necessarily defend women in a social setting over a verbal argument when the overall messaging they get daily is “men bad”.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 02:54 PM
7

I’m sure it’s exhausting for men to keep up with what women consider “bad”. Abuse/harassment/cheating/financial ruin is bad. Telling a woman she’s wrong, when she is, isn’t. Unfair treatment at work? That could be the woman’s own perception and not reality. “Problematic” is too vague. I don’t think it’s fair for women to expect men to jump to their aid every time their feelings are hurt. The only men I would like that support from is the man I’m with or the men in my family.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 02:33 PM

Hmm I’ve never been to a Michelin star restaurant, but I’ll have to pass. Gotta keep my streak alive.

I’ve never paid for a date
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 02:28 AM

Those girls probably think the “guys don’t approach 10s because they don’t think they have a chance” applies to them. They have to protect their ego.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 06:58 PM
5

Men are free to make that choice. I just think it’s a better strategy for women to not sleep with men quickly to avoid hurt feelings if he decides he doesn’t want to go further after sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 05:36 PM
6

Right, so to avoid being upset, they shouldn’t sleep with a guy that isn’t committed to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 05:18 PM
5

You can call it that, if you want. I don’t think it’s bad. Why would a woman be okay being good enough for sex but not good enough to commit to?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 05:06 PM
3

Yeah, sex with a man that’s not committed to her. All that does is add to her count.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 04:51 PM
8

Why lower her value in the next man’s eyes by sleeping with someone that wouldn’t commit to her?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 03:59 PM
5

They don’t say they just want sex upfront because that level of honesty won’t work for the majority of women. We just have to accept if a man finds us attractive, he’ll likely want to have sex with us and will sometimes say or do whatever he can to make that happen. Which is why it’s smart for us to make them wait to discern if they actually like us and are interested in a relationship (if that’s also what we want) instead of only wanting to fuck us.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 02:30 PM
35

If you can sense a woman feels entitled to your money, don’t spend it on her. If you find her to be deserving and you feel compelled to take care of her, then do that. I feel the same way about cooking for a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 10:46 AM

I don’t really think feminists care about anything that would make them look bad because if you disagree with whatever they say that just makes you inherently wrong/bad.

We can get the ick or there’s an incompatibility with a dealbreaker
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 03:49 AM

No, if a man isn’t confident or interested enough to approach me in the first place, I wouldn’t want that man.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 03:00 AM

Most men don’t have standards. I wouldn’t date a man that wouldn’t care.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 05:15 PM

Yeah, that’s where we differ. I can vet for compatibility and know if I like spending time with them within a romantic context. I don’t really need to know if I’d like spending one on one time with them without being romantically involved because I’m not friends with men. I don’t stay friends with exes either.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 11:53 PM
1

Yep, I’ve always been this way. If I meet a guy I’m attracted to, and I like him, he’s put in the romantic interest category. Do you want friendship first to get to know them and for comfortability?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 10:31 PM
3

I genuinely don’t understand the concept of wanting to be friends with a man before moving to romance. I’m not friends with men so I automatically filter through a romantic lens.

Men are the gatekeepers of relationships, not women. A woman can have sex with a man she wants a relationship with but you’ve lost your power at that point to dictate if he’ll commit to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 03:22 PM
11

The only thing I care about is if he’s dressed appropriately for wherever we’re going, showered, groomed etc. I probably wouldn’t go out if it was like I was dressed up for a really nice dinner and he’s opting for sweats and slides.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 07:56 PM

And I get why men are exhausted and opting out. Modern women are really hard to deal with. I have to keep my own mouth shut about some things around my friends because I know trying to change their mind is pointless and likely to lead to a fight. Possibly ending our friendship. All we can hope for is to find a good person who wants the same thing as we do. It seems kinda hopeless though based on (I think it was like 50% or more from one of your links) men regretting who they marry. I think the b…

It’s not apathy. Complaining with inaction gets you nowhere, man or woman. It’s also a subject the majority of women can’t even relate to. Talk to other men about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 06:55 PM
8

The only answer is to not complain to women about it at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 03:52 PM
1

Well, thank you, I appreciate that. I definitely know it’s not common among women, and it can be hard for men and women like me to find each other. Especially in big cities. There are definitely a lot of men out there that don’t necessarily hate women but hate the idea of marriage and having a family. And I get why they’d feel that way. Just makes it harder to find a man that doesn’t. They’re very fearful.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 12:47 AM

I’ve always waited at least 3 months to have sex with anyone I’ve dated.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 12:06 AM

I was only speaking for myself as someone that doesn’t hate men. Some women, I’m sure, want those things because they either just want to be married or just want children. I only want those things with the man I want a family with. I don’t want them just on their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 11:35 PM

Disagree. We need to use it more.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 10:32 PM

I don’t believe men don’t also settle for who they marry. I’ve heard it repeated many times that men don’t marry the woman they love/loved the most, just who they’re with when they’re ready to get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 08:59 PM
1

Me, personally, husband/wife material is good. But if men see husband material as bad, women should also see wife material as bad if it just means they’ll be settled for.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 08:16 PM

Yeah, being in love isn’t an excuse for ignoring red flags.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 08:14 PM

It’s attractive when men don’t run from those things.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 08:11 PM

not passionate with her husband, never initiating sex or intimacy, talking longingly about her exes, mostly indifferent to him or his interests, shaming him when he's down There’s no way one of these behaviors don’t pop up beforehand. it could be a sign that he sees her as more attractive personality wise as opposed to more physically attractive past partners. I guess the logical conclusion should then be marriage and relationships should be obsolete since men and women are all just lying, and w…

By not marrying a woman like that in the first place. There would be red flags before it even got to the point of proposing. And I guess women should also not want to be wife material either since men will just marry whoever they’re with when they’re ready to get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 05:04 AM
1

So it’s really just based on the whims of how society is trending and telling you how you should feel about being called husband material. Not trusting a woman you may be in a relationship with desiring and loving you.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 04:46 AM
1

I’m sure that’s a very comforting lie you get to tell yourself. You don’t think there’s a husband on this earth that’s desired and loved by his wife?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 04:08 AM

Right, so we should also be insulted for being called wife material then.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 04:05 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 06:21 PM

If I’m swiping, the first 2 things that make me swipe right or left are if I think they’re attractive and what their politics are. If they meet those 2 criteria, then I filter for personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 02:32 PM

I’ve only seen men be able to do that in a relationship. Or possibly with a brother or friend that could basically be his brother.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 04:18 AM

Right, and I think women are more familiar with just feeling how we feel and not necessarily needing to think or act our way out of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 04:00 AM
6

I think men want answers for their emotions and how to avoid negative feelings in the future. I don’t necessarily need answers for mine because I already have the answer and know, with certainty, I’ll feel the same way again in the future.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 03:37 AM

The first one is an avoidant that’ll attract anxious women. The second is mentally ill and likely to attract other mentally ill, insecure women.

The old why buy the cow when you’re getting the milk for free. Men are less incentivized to get married in the first place. Moving in together and playing house is just gonna delay next steps.

Okay, well I don’t expect to be taken to a 5 star restaurant for a first date. Dating isn’t an equal playing field. You think it’s immature but to me it just shows level of interest or not. I’m also not attracted to men that wouldn’t want to provide or take up that responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 12:29 PM

Seems pretty straightforward to me. You want men to embrace slut behavior so more men can get laid. Good idea, honestly.

How do you know it’s not true but the same if a guy has to wait for sex? I would think a man that wants to play money games over a salad and a drink is petty. I’m not going to date a man that doesn’t naturally want to provide or isn’t generous.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 11:35 AM

Are you fucking with me rn? No one can guarantee that it wouldn’t cause an issue if she already likes him. You think people don’t fight or breakup over things they’ve learned after already being in a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:42 AM

It’s trivial for a man. Men and women aren’t the same. If a man suggests we split the check for a date he asked me out on, I just assume he didn’t like me.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:37 AM

How about just don’t ask women out on dates? Or date until you find a woman that’s okay with splitting the bill?

/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 05:43 PM

Vanilla is boring. The two options aren’t it’s okay that you paid for sex or boring.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 05:41 PM

Ah, yes, if you don’t want the man you’re in a relationship with to have fucked whores in the past you’re vanilla. Degenerate take.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 05:30 PM

You’re free to choose that option. That won’t shield you from judgement from others.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 05:25 PM

That’s a combination of a fault with her parents, her inability to mature, and her encounters with degenerates.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 05:03 PM

I wouldn’t call the majority of men scum on earth.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 04:33 PM

We respect respectable men.

I would say they’re similar, definitely.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 04:04 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 04:02 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 03:20 AM

What would he be getting from them that he isn’t getting from me?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 12:54 AM

And I don’t really like the opinion that female friends are okay lol I’m not sharing my man.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 12:46 AM

I would be okay with a guy I’m dating also going on dates with other women and having sex with them if that’s what he felt like he needed to do until I’m ready. I wouldn’t continue dating a guy with a fwb because I don’t date men who are friends with women. Especially if they’ve had sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 11:02 PM

Good point
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 06:36 AM

I should’ve said backed by the sisterhood *online lol I’ve seen similar for less.

It’s because we’re backed by the sisterhood
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 04:30 AM
14

Because a lot of women think their word is law and men couldn’t possibly be right about anything ever
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 04:19 AM
1

Bad things happen to people every day. It’s more about having the confidence and security that my man would be able to handle a dangerous situation if something happened. If a man assaulted me on the street, another man would be able to physically handle that better than I could.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 04:12 AM

Then my suggestion would be for men to only seek advice from women they know personally who they respect and value the opinions of. If they don’t have those women in their lives then seek advice from other men.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 04:05 AM

This is why men shouldn’t concern themselves with dating advice or opinions of anonymous women on the internet.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 03:48 AM

I think you’re just confusing traditional men with men in general. Men in general were historically more abusive in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 01:29 AM
0

Well, I guess it’s your word against mine. I wouldn’t trust a modern, feminist man to protect me.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 01:25 AM
-2

Um, no. Traditional men typically view their woman as precious and cherish her. I wouldn’t call any man that beats his gf/wife traditional. I’d just call him a bad man. Men that don’t even identify as traditional are still capable of abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 11:05 PM
4

I’ve never been oppressed by a man
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 10:48 PM

Because traditional men are typically more masculine and therefore more likely to protect and provide for us than a feminine man.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 10:34 PM
1

I guess that’s fair if you hear that opinion directly from women often.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 07:20 PM
6

Men will pick BPD women just because they’re hot. I’m not bothered by their “I can save her” choices. Why do men care if a woman wants to pick a bad boy and hopefully learn a lesson?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 06:18 PM
1

lol good! I think we can see where each other are coming from.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 03:52 AM

Yes, thank you. Why do you think we’re not accountable for our preferences?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 03:41 AM

Then we’re in agreement that I alone am accountable for my preferences and choices and didn’t say anyone else would be accountable for my preferences and choices, yes?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 03:12 AM

I didn’t say anyone else would be accountable for my choices? Confused where you’re going with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:55 AM

Those choices would only make me accountable to myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:45 AM

But my standards are taller than me and treats me well. It’s not an either or option.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:36 AM

What would I have to be held accountable for for preferring my man be taller than me by at least half a foot?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:27 AM

The ability to “get” humor is largely genetic, actually being funny comes from your environment.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 06:39 PM
1

Idk what world you live in where being jacked wouldn’t make you more attractive to the general population.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 06:34 PM
2

It’s not insignificant if having both of these traits increase your attractiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 04:15 PM
4

Okay, I’ll rephrase it to sexual arousal *towards men. Not in an independent scenario.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 03:57 PM
0

Exactly. This term is made up when it can just be substituted for “normal”. We, in general, experience sexual arousal by being desired by a man we’re attracted to. Not simply visually like men’s experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 02:51 PM
3

Yeah, that’s definitely valid. Not everyone that takes care of their body would necessarily fall into the ed or can’t see past their own reflection categories, though. I’m not even suggesting men get into bodybuilding competition shape. That’s an extreme example I think men automatically think of when we say jacked.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 01:30 PM
3

Be fit and pleasant or something like that
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 01:20 PM

Who says I don’t attract the men I want? I’m fine being alone instead of settling for someone I’m not attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 12:20 PM
9

I’m a woman, so I don’t have to do any earning.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 12:03 PM
4

I just have to assume anyone claiming they want a soft, doughy man would just be insecure with a fitter man. Whether that’s because she doesn’t want to compete with other women or she can’t measure up in discipline/lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 12:02 PM
6

Have all men tried getting jacked and being funny?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 10:54 AM

We can’t know if you messed up in some way because we weren’t there/aren’t her. I would say don’t torture yourself with overanalyzing your every move. Not everything will work out.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 01:29 AM

But you don’t really have to vet for that. Vetting implies looking for more than casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 04:30 AM

Yes, as long as that’s reciprocated.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 10:43 PM
41

Never unless there’s excessive complaining to me about how they can’t find a man. Cry about it to someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 05:06 PM

And what’s the reason for casual sex other than to have casual sex? Why would anyone care if someone is humble if they just want to have sex with them?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 05:04 PM
8

They’re not intimidated by smart, independent women.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 12:13 PM

Not being the strongest doesn’t mean a man can’t be physically strong. Men can lead themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 12:08 PM

I wouldn’t neglect him if he came to me for emotional support. I would go to him for emotional support if I was going through something big but definitely nothing superficial or inconsequential.

All the more reason not to have sex quickly
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 01:20 AM

Physically strong isn’t genetic
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 10:05 PM

I do agree with a lot of the red pill because it is just mostly common sense stuff. There’s also stuff I don’t agree with like negging, spinning plates, dread game. That shit works on anxiously attached hoes and I’m not one of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 11:52 AM

And that’s definitely not their fault. I personally just wouldn’t commit to a man that wasn’t raised by a masculine dad.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 11:45 AM
1

Who wants to fuck a loser?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 05:28 AM

Yeah, because men just used to know this. It was passed down by the men that raised them. They also didn’t have to do hours of internet analysis to figure it out. Too many men today were raised by women or feminist men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 05:27 AM
2

With other women, yes. I already said I wouldn’t bring that to my man.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 04:55 AM
2

Yeah, I don’t agree with all that but I do think if men feel burdened by masculinity they’re allowed to not conform to that traditional gender role. Doesn’t mean everyone’s gonna accept that or understand. I would break up with my man if he complained about the same thing over and over and over without trying to do anything to fix it though.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 04:40 AM
2

Idk I can’t relate to being a man but from what I’ve observed they’re much less likely to share when they’re going through something hard. Is that inherent or is it learned behavior? Are men better off sharing those burdens with other men who can’t fix their problem but can maybe relate more? Or is it better for him to share that with his lady who can’t fix it and can’t relate to what he might be going through as a man? I don’t think wanting to be cared about makes a man less of a man in and of …
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 03:57 AM
4

Because I can understand not wanting to burden people with problems they have no ability to solve. The people around us love us and care about us but we’re all ultimately alone in the problems that only affect us individually. When I wanna yap about a problem, I vent to girlfriends or my mom. I don’t take it to my man because, being a man, he only wants to fix it. And he can’t. That makes him feel helpless and I’d rather not make him feel that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 03:33 AM
2

And you’re entitled to that opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 03:14 AM
4

What a leap
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 02:48 AM

Nope
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 11:31 PM

why not have less connected sex now? Sex is a very intimate act, basically the most vulnerable you can be with another person, this will help build connection and determine if you are sexually compatible. Because I don’t want to have sex with someone I don’t know, trust, or comfortable enough with to be that intimate and vulnerable.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 11:22 PM
4

It’s definitely the men you choose (or don’t). I’ve never encountered a man described in these examples while dating. Or otherwise for that matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 01:31 AM
7

What would be the point of the relationship if sex isn’t an expectation? Unless they’re asexual or have a medical issue, that’s the glue. If you’re expecting sex as a reward for paying for things, she’ll probably get that vibe and either keep making you wait or move on. Pay for things because you want to without any strings or don’t pay for anything at all. It’s your money.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 01:09 AM
1

That’s true
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 08:35 PM
1

Please look up SEC couple. These kind of matches are very common in the south.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 05:54 PM
1

Yeah, I’m sure hearing your man had to learn how to be a man is super hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 10:55 PM
1

Sure, jan.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 08:59 PM
6

No, I haven’t said that because I don’t think women always know who’ll end up abusing them. Do they lack discernment and have poor vetting skills? Probably. I don’t think that makes them trash or bad. I also wouldn’t call a man that ends up abused by his girlfriend or wife trash or a bad person.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 08:58 PM
1

I said if they can’t come to a legal agreement before the kid is born, if they both want the kid to be born, then they should both be financially responsible. If the man doesn’t want a kid, he should have the option to opt out financially because a woman has the option to opt out via abortion or adoption. I’m done explaining myself lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 08:41 PM
3

Idk if I’d say those women are also trash but there’s definitely something wrong with them mentally.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 08:35 PM
1

Why are we broken if that’s what matters to us?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 08:17 PM
2

Okay, then why aren’t you honest with them about going on an internet forum and learning how to socialize like a normal person?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 07:55 PM
1

A man should have the option to opt out financially for a kid he never wanted if a woman can abort a baby she never wanted.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 07:34 PM
2

Because it’s not authentic. Are men also broken if they get turned off by learning later that the woman they’re with has had plastic surgery? I don’t think so. Seems like a natural reaction to me but if you wanna call it broken okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 07:30 PM
1

It means they want a feminine man
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 07:07 PM
1

lol what? A woman can choose to opt out after the fact by getting an abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 07:00 PM
3

No, I didn’t say all successful men are naturally like this. The ones that are naturally like this are the most attractive. Not sure how it being a turn off makes women broken.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 06:41 PM
3

So you can see how it’d be a turn off to know that’s something you had to learn in adulthood instead of being innate or instilled in you growing up.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 06:18 PM
1

I’m not arguing that they’re not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 05:49 PM
1

Have you shared with the women you’ve been with your years of work you’ve put into making yourself authentically red pill?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 05:48 PM
1

Right, I’m just saying the men who did learn it growing up or that it just comes naturally to are more attractive. They’re less likely to be hyper aware of it, have gone through the anger phase, bring it up in conversation, try to prove something, constantly mentally strategizing. It’s just who they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 05:36 PM
1

She’s the one that gets pregnant…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 05:29 PM
1

She’s the one that can get pregnant so she should be the more responsible party.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 05:11 PM
3

It should be easy when there’s mutual attraction, respect, and compatibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 04:48 PM
1

The greater responsibility is still on the woman since she’s the one at risk of getting pregnant. Anyone having sex should assume that can result in a pregnancy.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 04:07 PM
2

Exactly, we can always see through it if it’s not inherent or authentic. There’s an underlying desperation.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 04:02 PM
1

Yeah, don’t have sex if you’re not ready for a child. I already said that. And again, people are still going to have sex regardless. As long as there’s an opt out option for women, there should also be one for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:57 PM
1

Because she has more options than he does.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:40 PM
8

True, the most attractive men are naturally like this and didn’t have to spend countless hours studying to get their master’s in red pill. Ideally, they wouldn’t even know the term.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:30 PM
1

She can agree to those terms, decide she will have an abortion, adoption (if the guy will only take the kid if she’ll pay child support) or they’ll both have to be equally financially responsible if they can’t come to an agreement.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:21 PM
1

Right, those decisions should be legally made at certain point in the pregnancy and there should be a deadline to make those decisions.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 02:50 PM
1

I think those decisions would need to be legally made before a certain point in the pregnancy. Similar to the cut off time for having an abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 02:06 PM
1

If the guy that got her pregnant asks her to not have an abortion, that he’ll be a single parent and support the kid on his own, that should definitely also be an option for her. I think that scenario would be less likely and not significant enough to have a major impact on tax inflation though. So, no, I wouldn’t mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 01:45 PM
1

Yeah, definitely.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 01:20 PM
3

Yeah, no one’s suggesting you be a bouncer for a hoe. I don’t flirt with other men while I’m in a relationship. I expect my man to step in so he can deal with another man so I don’t have to. If he doesn’t, I’ll take that as he doesn’t really love me and I can end the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 06:12 AM
1

Yeah, for me, it wouldn’t be about trust. It would be wanting to feel protected.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:35 AM
6

Yeah, I can definitely understand if she’s obviously flirting with another guy. That’s disrespectful. But, yes, we have to politely decline advances sometimes and the other guy doesn’t always accept the first no thank you or not interested. At that point, I would want my man to help me out.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:25 AM
4

I wouldn’t be with a man that would make me handle a situation with another man myself. It’s not a game for me to want him to protect me and make me feel safe and wanted. I would do the same for him if he was in an uncomfortable situation with a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:22 AM
1

I said I’d shut it down if I needed to but would prefer my man to step in at some point.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:07 AM
2

Your lack of jealousy or instinct to protect probably comes off as you not caring about whoever you’re with.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 02:52 AM
1

Yeah, I would if necessary. I’d rather my man step in at that point than handle it myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 02:43 AM
5

Boyfriend, husband whichever. Like we would be going out in public, I assume? I wouldn’t flirt with anyone but most people at a bar are drinking so it’s not that far fetched to assume another guy would try to talk to me or touch me. Even in a subtle way. It’s not like it’s never happened lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 02:23 AM
5

Like if we’re out and I get hit on. Or we’re at a bar and some guy is trying to talk to me or getting handsy. I’d want my man to somehow show the guy he needs to back off. Whether that’s with words or some kind of physical barrier. If he didn’t, I’d assume he’d be okay watching another guy fuck me basically.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 02:10 AM
7

I’m not into like a hot head that’ll fight someone or bring me drama, but if he doesn’t get a little jealous or have an instinct to mate guard, I would think he didn’t really love me.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 01:36 AM
2

It’s really hot when men don’t let women push them around. Please put me in my place.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 09:28 PM
1

It’s really hot when men don’t let women push them around. Please put me in my place.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 09:27 PM
1

Yeah, most people are gonna have sex regardless. If they’re gonna have sex and that ends up in pregnancy, women can choose to get an abortion and men should be able to opt out of child support if she keeps the baby.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 09:23 PM
1

Yes, what’s your point?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 08:42 PM
1

I think you’re wrong, so I disagree. Don’t have sex if you’re not ready to have a child. Man or woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 06:16 PM
1

I think you’re wrong, so I disagree. Don’t have sex if you’re not ready to have a child. Man or woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 06:16 PM
0

Disagree
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 05:33 PM
1

Having an abortion is also dodging responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 04:52 PM
1

There’s no equality for men in this situation. Back to my original point, as long as abortion is legal, men should have the option to opt out of financial responsibility for a child they don’t want.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 04:01 PM
-1

Keep it, please.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 02:40 PM
1

I think the men that would choose to opt out are losers. But I still think they should have the choice. After a woman gets pregnant, she can choose abortion, adoption, or to keep the baby. Keeping the baby means choosing the financial burden. Men don’t have that choice without legal consequence.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 01:42 PM
1

Well, it would make women more selective of who they have sex with in the first place. To me, that’s a good thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 12:20 PM
1

Yeah, also a crazy concept to not have sex with losers who would actually choose that option. You seem to repeatedly ignore the responsibility of the woman to not have sex in the first place. The one that faces the most risk should have the best judgment.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 12:17 PM
-1

So don’t have sex out of wedlock. I don’t think men should have the option to opt out if they’re married.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 07:53 AM
2

Haha yes I would need at least a separation from chest to back. Not a full vest.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 02:55 AM
8

If he had a hairy back, I would probably gently suggest laser hair removal.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 02:29 AM
0

Whose help?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 12:56 AM
13

Masculinity lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 12:54 AM
-1

And I’m saying men shouldn’t have to pay child support for a child they don’t want to parent. If a woman can absolve herself of responsibility by having an abortion, a man should get to absolve himself of the responsibility for paying for a child he didn’t want.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 12:24 AM
0

I don’t need those protections but thanks
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 12:16 AM
0

And if we have the choice to stay pregnant or not, men should get to choose if they want to parent and pay for that child or not. If you don’t wanna get pregnant, don’t have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 12:12 AM
-1

Men can choose the same option. There’s more incentive for women to choose this option because we’re the ones at risk of getting pregnant.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 11:30 PM
2

Don’t have sex with men you wouldn’t have children with. So simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 10:32 PM
7

I think as long as abortion is legal, men should be able to opt out of parenthood and any financial responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 08:09 PM
5

Thank you, exactly. That’s exactly what they’re doing. Masculine men want the responsibility of protecting and providing for their family. I’m not gonna be with anyone who doesn’t have that natural drive.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 01:13 AM
2

No, those were your words.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 04:52 AM
1

So who’s actually using people here?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 04:31 AM
3

I don’t use anyone as an atm. Didn’t you just say you did sugar dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 04:27 AM
5

Yeah, and?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 03:49 AM
6

Uh, no it’s not. I’ve been in a relationship where I didn’t have to pay for anything even if I offered.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 03:49 AM
8

You do know that there are men that actually love the woman they’re with and want to take care of her right? Call me a leech if that makes you feel better. I’ll be the happiest leech in the creek.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 03:36 AM
5

Because I want a man that leads. Why would I not date and stay single?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 03:05 AM
8

No, I don’t want to pull the financial weight.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 02:49 AM
3

You either take the sting of rejection and continue to pursue women until you’re successful or you give up.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/26 04:26 AM

I don’t have to approach men because I’m a woman. That’s the only answer I need. I wouldn’t want to date a man that didn’t have the confidence to approach me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/26 06:34 PM
1

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/26 12:31 AM
3

I like men as people but see no reason to be friends with them. I relate more to other women. The only man in my life, besides family, is my man.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/26 12:28 AM
3

Yeah, both.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 05:44 PM
7

Blah blah women have beauty standards too. No one should settle for a dead bedroom marriage, man or woman. He’s taking medication to be able to have sex with her. That’s ridiculous and detrimental to himself.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 04:23 PM
6

Privilege also doesn’t negate that it’s pathetic.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 04:18 PM
6

No, settling for someone you’re not attracted to is always pathetic. If he’s short, he still has the option to chisel his body to perfection. That’ll boost his confidence and widen his dating pool.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 03:33 PM
4

Those factors don’t negate that it’s pathetic.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 03:30 PM
4

Having sex with someone you’re not attracted to is pathetic. Get a backbone, improve yourself and have sex with someone you’re actually attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 03:18 PM
9

True. Then they get to play the victim.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 02:15 PM
1

Don’t listen to them either.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 02:14 PM
10

Pathetic
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 02:12 PM
4

Don’t listen to women that you’re not feeding, fucking, or financing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 01:36 PM
4

In general, no. For what?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 01:33 PM
2

The only man I need sympathy/empathy from is my man. Women aren’t owed this in general from men. If/when women want this in general, they just want men to bow to them. (That’s also a test that they won’t be happy about men passing)
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 12:53 PM
0

No
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 12:41 PM
0

If you wanna be with a hoe, be with a hoe, no judgement.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 04:53 AM
2

Totally get how that dynamic can work. You were a hoe and your husband was good with getting with a hoe. Nbd.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 04:52 AM
2

Nah the hoes behind the scenes are just hoes for one man.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 02:33 AM
1

Makes sense
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 12:18 AM
0

I’m just saying there are women capable of sexual discipline based on their morals and values. It makes sense that a hoe in college would continue to do that dance afterwards until she realizes hmmm this may not actually be working for me. It still turns into relationships sometimes but like you’re with a hoe. What are you actually accomplishing? It would be the equivalent of a woman getting into a relationship with a guy that’s proposed to every girlfriend he’s been in a relationship with.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/26 11:59 PM
13

The majority.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/26 11:40 PM
-1

Those are hoes
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/26 11:09 PM
2

No, never. I love being a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/26 05:05 PM
1

Because it’s a common complaint from men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 11:50 PM
4

Yes, it’s acceptable to criticize both men and women as a group. People in general don’t like being criticized, and women even more so.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 05:25 PM
1

I also didn’t say there was anything wrong with it. Just that it’ll likely never come to fruition.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 12:29 PM
1

Yeah, and it’s fucked everyone up.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 12:16 PM
1

In this context, dating. The initial courting phase.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 11:59 AM
-5

I didn’t say you do, just fantasize about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 05:08 AM
12

Your fantasy of us ever being on equal footing will likely never see the light of day.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 04:35 AM

You shouldn’t have a child with a man you’d be in a shitty relationship with.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/26 11:04 PM
1

He shouldn’t have left her behind.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/26 07:58 PM

Well, yes, but a lot of comments made seem to assume if she doesn’t have sex with him after 3 dates then she doesn’t desire him. Which just isn’t true.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/26 05:01 PM

That would just be a reformed hoe and mean that guy got duped.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/26 05:00 PM

I think it’s more common than you’re assuming
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/26 04:38 PM

Not always true. Some of us can control ourselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/26 04:30 PM
1

No, I’ll keep my double standards because I know men and women are different. I don’t know what you mean by wanting the benefits of being a man?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/26 02:25 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
