To test using hair costs more for some reason. And we do realize a home test is not admissible, the question was whether doing a home test is illegal in the case of not getting permission from the custodial parent - just because she may not find out, would not change the legality of the test.	/r/MensRights	05/08/11 11:28 PM

Wanting to keep an unplanned pregnancy is not that same as using deception to plan a pregnancy unwanted by one of the parties. 2	Give information to my mom who works at a Domestic Violence center that only targets women? I don't see how that changes anything. I know you said she doesn't know the men's support offerings in your area, but if she is PR for DV isn't it her job to know so she can direct people to resources that CAN help them? If your mother has acknowledged the void in her knowledge of the resources in your area and she does nothing to fill this gap, then I would be forced to assume that she does not care. In the Canadian family law system either parent can do that at any point of a child's life.
