I lost a lot of weight and many people have been commenting on it recently. They've all been positive, but I feel awful over it. This hasn't been a deliberate weight loss journey. I was really happy with my body before. I've always been thick in my hips and thighs. And I never worried about my postpartum body. I felt like I was at a healthy weight before at 165 with a bmi of 30. I went to the Dr today and weighed 141 (bmi 24 for reference). I'm very self conscious about my body now. I don't see …

I was hoping that's what the video would be.

To me, love is easy. It's having a best friend that always gets you. That's not to say the relationship is without arguments, just that the vibes are always there to be open with each other.

I made a Boundaries board on Pinterest to save good responses. I have to manage my energy closely now and I was terrible many years ago about giving too much of myself to others.

I've been there. I think many of us have in our own way. My inbox is open.

I came straight here to talk tea about the Oscars Slap Incident. My husband came to show me and the more I watched the more I had to google to see how that played out afterwards. IMO Jada made him do that. You see her face and Will laughing, then the camera cuts to Chris. While we don't see Will anymore, something happened to make him decide that was a great idea in the moment.

I've started crochet. I'm mostly interested in amigurumi but may do a few blankets. I'm learning the basics now. I'd love any advice anyone has.

I love prepping! The constant care of homesteading is too much for me right now. I saw a cool idea that I wonder if you could manage. Have you looked into strawberry pots? In theory, you can get a flexible clothes hamper with somewhat large holes. Then, fill it partially with soil, put in herbs/vegetables, fill more, plant more, repeat as needed. If you have a room with lots of windows I think you could get a decent start if you only take on a few plants to start. A bright bathroom would be real…

I relate so much to this. One thing that helped my anxiety was asking my husband how clean he wanted his house. Every so often when I feel like I should be doing more, I ask him how he feels about the current cleanliness of the house. His reassurance helps the anxiety calm down a bit.

I'm sorry you're going through this. It's quite stressful taking icky feeling gifts. I encourage you to find another solution with your husband. They will only become more bold with no fight. The other ladies have great ideas for sticking to the current plan.

This inspires me to reread The Surrendered Wife. The best way to improve ourselves is to pay attention to our own actions.

When I see fuel prices, I worry about the future. Not because of my personal transportation, but because of the cost increase of everything due to freight transportation. So I just do my best to prepare my kids for whatever world they will have when the time comes.

I loved the old old sub. It was so helpful when I started rp mindset in my marriage. I hope to be helpful with others.

I may have mentioned this before so sorry if I'm just complaining now. I've been frustrated with my physical limitations since getting well. As months go on, I'm sure the stamina will continue to come back. But for now I'm frustrated with myself. I see clutter everywhere in my house. My husband doesn't mind. He gets that the kids and I stay home most of the time. I used to be able to keep it organized how I liked it though. I've been organizing for a long time. I wish I could say, "today I'm goi…

Amid everything else going on, I traveled with my kids and got to be who I am outside of my marriage since my husband had to stay home. It was so freeing to know he was home keeping things going while the kids and I got to have a wonderful bonding trip. We laid in bed all day after I got home. The kids slept in late and had no interest in being supervised after a week in the car with me. I feel like this rewarding side of rp marriage isn't seen often. It's not restrictive to submit to your husba…

I have been hoping more people would post about their relationships. I really enjoy marriage and seeing other happily married couples.

I've recently gotten back into the rpw mindset. I got ill a couple years ago and only since about November have I been physically back to normal. My Captain kept our ship afloat financially. I committed my energy to homeschooling our 2 daughters, doing minimal housekeeping, and keeping our business afloat while I had to step back from what I usually did. We kept things running individually, but didn't have much time or energy for each other. We really were just trying to get through what we knew…
