A minor (or someone who committed the crime as a minor) cannot receive the death penalty anywhere in America.

So your young daughter is expected to share a bed with someone of the opposite sex and you are cool with that?

Even if it was a passenger? I remember two cases when I was in college in KY that involved passenger deaths where both were being stupid, so some sort of blamed was assigned to the passenger in their own death. I know in the case that happened to someone at my school, the victims parents went to court to ask for leniency for the driver. I forget what the sentences were, but remember they were close to the minimum.

I think it’s telling she said “order food”. Maybe it’s a translation simplification but my first thought was “maybe try cooking yourself some food”.

I upvoted you but I don’t agree that the jury should be held accountable. Almost always in wrongful convictions the case is rigged before it gets to them. If it was obvious enough that they should be held accountable, the judge always has the option to overturn the juries verdict.

I think it’s pretty interesting. I just don’t know the details but Imagine your the women, your husband gets convicted of rape which you most likely have to assume to be true and divorce him and then years later you find out he’s innocent. That upended your life also.

They chose a contract that guaranteed money over incentives. If they chose the contract the men did (one that guarantees very little but has more bonuses for winning), they would have made more money bc they are successful.

Doubt it. This was not too far from me in Vegas. This area, the matter is prob considered settled. Doubt the workers got in trouble either.

I felt like this regarding acne face wash. I never really had the typical teenage acne problem. A zit here and there. Everyone once in awhile in college I would buy an acne face wash instead of just using the same soap for my body and sure enough, zits were soon to follow.

If it’s a drunken late night hookup, you should stay the night unless she asks or is hinting at you to leave, if only to protect yourself.

Yes. Someone vandalizing someone’s car they don’t like is different than someone who already has chosen to break into cars deciding not to based on a bumper sticker.

That may be true. His example was using a political sticker to avoid a crime being committed against your vehicle, which is completely different.

That’s the dumbest thing I ever heard and I doubt it’s true. They honestly think criminals give a shit about the politics of potential victims enough to not break into a car because of a bumper sticker? There are a lot of non voters (non political) people in this country and I’m guessing people who break into cars are among them.

I don’t believe this. I mean, I don’t doubt you heard a story about a friend of a friend and subtracted one to make the story better or were lied to from a your friend that pleaded down to whatever the minimum charge to be on the registry after doing something that warranted it, but this is basically copypasta.

I’m trying to train myself to do it now bc I broke the camera glass on my iPhone somehow without realizing it with no other damage and it basically led to ruining my iPhone XS through a series of events. Edit in case anyone was wondering. Broke the camera glass, Apple won’t fix it without replacing the whole back. I bought cheap replacement camera glass which breaks often but is cheap and easy to replace. Eventually got dust in the camera lens which put smudges on my photos so I took it to a rep…

he typed it that way multiple times, so it is more likely he doesn't know the difference. I find that odd considering the ample research he must of had to do to make such an informative post to educate the masses. Or maybe it's just a Russian shill account

It's borders. Easier to be seen as credible when you know the spelling of a common word that seems key in your talking point.

Has any actor featured on a show like Springer ever worked in anything of significance afterwards? I'd imagine the Springer Show (or whatever knock off) would have a vested interest in you not performing on anything afterwards also

it was on at work with the sound off. I said it looks like a 30 for 30 on the Duke lacrosse thing. My workmate said, "oh ya the lacrosse players who raped that girl". Its not that he thought they were guilty despite the evidence against it, more that the narrative was so strong, people forgot that it as proven false.

Great break down OP. I wish I knew how to find a youtube "blog" of an afrocentric black women I stumbled across a couple of years ago that mirrors a lot of what you stated. It was basically calling black women out to better themselves instead of bitching about black men turning to other races.

It never even crossed my mind it was a guy until this comment. Upon a reread, yes, it is a lot more likely it is in fact a guy. Weird how our mind makes assumptions and sticks with them.

Strength has a neurological component. How well your muscles "fire" is key when it comes to power and explosiveness.

I'm confused why an escort would rat on a customer. Those girls make their living off of married men. I feel like there is more to this story. I also found it interesting, though not surprising, that she is on multiple dating websites fishing for customers.

She was trying to change his perception. She wanted him to think, "Maybe I did see it wrong and she was only pulling off dead leaves".

I was going to try to explain it, but how could I say it better than Malcom himself: The economic philosophy of black nationalism is pure and simple. It only means that we should control the economy of our community. Why should white people be running all the stores in our community? Why should white people be running the banks of our community? Why should the economy of our community be in the hands of the white man? Why? If a black man can't move his store into a white community, you tell me w…
