I feel like most parents, moms in particular, tell their daughters to stay away from men because they only want one thing, sex. But they never really teach us how to navigate dating and relationships and what green and red flags to look out for during these relationships.

I’ve heard a guy say “get away from me you fat fuck” when I worked at a dive bar.

I have 3 degrees compared to my husband’s 0 but he matches me intellectually since he’s very smart and knowledgeable about world history, geography, math, many of the trades (he’s a contractor), has great interpersonal skills, etc. I don’t think men have to have the “same” accomplishments to meet “equal” standards.

Because it’s still unconditional love. The love doesn’t change, how you interact and relate to the person is what changes. Pets and babies are the examples you picked but people still give kids up for adoption and give up dogs. Doesn’t mean they aren’t loved. You can love someone without being in a romantic relationship with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 09:18 PM

Unconditional love =/= unconditional consequences.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 06:58 PM

And the men would have every reason to file for divorce. ETA Yes, I personally believe in unconditional love. But no one owes anyone a relationship. IMO, wives don’t divorce their husbands because they don’t love them anymore, they divorce them because their husbands don’t trust them and essentially accuse them of being unfaithful.

Relationships are built on trust. If you don’t trust your partner, and they know that you don’t, it’ll sew seeds of contempt that will ultimately lead to bigger things that destroy the marriage. If a man has reason to distrust a woman, probably shouldn’t have married her or made a baby.

Regardless of difficulty in acquiring bodies, if high n count = lack of discernment and inability to commit, it doesn’t matter what gender you are, the same conclusions can be made. Gender only comes into play with how easy n count can be achieved.

Why are you going on so many dates? Are you trying to settle down or stay casual?

Sounds like OP values women less the more he’s had them. OP, this is an intrinsic issue, not a general one.

When I say “offer” I meant if he wants one it’s not going to be a “no”. But he’d never ask for it because he trusts me.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/23 03:09 PM

I offered too but my husband knows he picked a good woman and has no reason to request a test. Women don’t want to feel like their partners don’t trust them by speculating there’s a chance of infidelity. Because let’s be honest, you only need a paternity test if you’re not sure.

Not necessarily but attractiveness can indicate certain things like healthy lifestyle, discipline, good habits (cooking, eating well, working out) etc, good fertility, good hygiene. Sure a slob looking guy could be less riskier at the end of the day, but the image portrayed says otherwise. Same reason why men want fit and feminine women, no?

Because women like sex and intimacy too. I’m always amused why sex for men is something pleasurable and boast worth but not the same for their partners.

Yeah I agree. I’m very critical and sceptical of men who paint a broad picture of women like this, almost as if the only time they interact with women is for sex and relationships. Men need to learn to just be friends or acquaintances with women instead of only seeing them as objects of sex and relationships, and maybe they won’t be so narrow minded in the world when it comes to half the population (women).

Same. I see men as just other human beings until either I have interest in one or one shows me interest and then it’s a matter of deciphering if I actually find them attractive in multiple aspects. ETA Even now that I’m married and I have no interest in other men anymore, even when I get hit on, I can’t see them as anymore than another human being who so happened to shoot their shot. No more deciphering. Just gotta politely decline them.

Those are all terrible grifters that don’t give advice to women but rather criticize and villifies them. Also not from a religious perspective.

My high earning husband seems to love telling his coworkers and clients about all the things I do and am good at (medicine background, bartend/create cocktails for fine dining restaurants, etc) and it makes him super proud to show me off and makes his peers super jealous he has a woman like me as his wife. So I wouldn’t take RP comments seriously regarding women and their non physical traits and skills.

Yeah. Met my husband on tinder. I was looking for a husband and he might not have been looking for a “wife” persay but he knows a good woman when he finds one. Keep your standards when you use dating apps.

I do all of this with my husband. It’s fun having fun with him. I think guys would only find issues with those things of it prevents you from having fruitful relationships. Eh going camping with a mixed group of friends and he has concerns that you blow off.

That’s my point though. Romanian women would be holding the baby daddy accountable, not a different guy. We in the west make other men support our kids to the point where we lie about paternity instead of making the father be responsible for his child.

Big talk for real. I married a Romanian man and he’s disgusted by how little us western women ask from men, especially men we’re married to. For example, cheating: he said it’s weird that us western women would leave a man and make more issues for ourselves rather than make them pay up for doing bad stuff to us. Child support is an automatic thing if a man wants to leave, he must pay whereas in the West, women will say “I don’t need no man i can take care of the kids myself” and ghost the dad. R…
