I'm a dialysis nurse and work 2 days per week. It really suits us, I love getting out of the house and make a decent contribution to our family budget. When the kids are older (maybe school age), we'll try for 3 days per weeks, but that's in the future.

I'm glad you're back (remember your posts, didn't you also post in RedPillWomen? I'm not sure), and I'm looking forward to new posts and insights from you! You're posts helped me through my single times and during the early dating stage with my husband. But we're married now and I'm pregnant with #2, so all is well :)

thanks! I read the book a few years ago and completely forgot about it!

I didn't really gain any weight, thankfully my body bounced back really well after the pregnancy (same weight as before, no stretch marks and such) and I work out 1-2 times a week. But still... my body is not the same as before (which is totally ok, it gave us our child and I nursed for almost a year) and I don't feel as attractive as I did before motherhood. Thanks for your tipps!

I personally had a very hard time shifting from “mom mode” to “wife mode” just because the kids were asleep or we were out on a date. Yes! That's also my problem, though I never saw it that way. It's just child-development blogs and little tantrums and keeping our little toddler alive all day so when my husband comes home it's just sooo diffcult to just switch to flirty wife mode! I think in a way it's similar for our husbands when they come home and need to decompress for a time. It's just a li…

Good luck for your intimacy journey and I wish you all the best for your birth and the postpartum phase! <3

Thank you for your words, they are really screenshot-worthy! You are right, there is a season for everything and while we love each other and work well together, it might not be the season for expensive candlelight dinners and spa weekends, lol. There will be, of course, but not today and maybe not tomorrow. But I'll try to be more vocal and initiate more flirty moments. Scheduling sex does really sound unromantic, but it helps (we tried it a few times now and it's not too bad :) )

Baby is fighting his naps but looking too cute all the same! We started with purees last weeks, he's not so interested right now but I'm not worried. He will eat one day, lol.

My baby boy will arrive in February 2022 I won't quit, I will work as long as I can (maybe around 32 weeks, as I'm a nurse), then stay home for 6 months after birth and then go back to work for about 2 days a week. But personally I would wait at least until the 2nd trimester, or maybe week 20, like half of the pregnancy. But it's always up to you, how you feel, how well you are... Every pregnancy is different!

Sorry... we did not marry yet because of his school. But we will in the near future, probably before the birth of our baby. The baby was NO accident.

I think this is very sad. If you want to quit it because you don't like it anymore - ok. But just quitting something because you want to be be more feminine?

My ex did this from time to time. Like "if you were 3 feet taller, had green eyes and red hair you would be my dream girl" (true quote). He also showed me "hot women" who always looked like that. And he told me I had gotten "a little bit chubby" with 5'3'' and 116lbs. I was very young and naive back then but stayed with him for many years - I'm glad he's an ex now and we never had children. It's not normal. But you'll find many guys who don't do that in your life. Good luck!

Pasta aglio e olio e peperocini (if it's just me without SO) salmon pasta tarte flambee with bacon, onions and sour cream cheese fondue/raclette in winter (+ it's super cosy. We eat it every 10 days right now, haha) some meat with salad (SO loves tomato and mozzarella salad), mostly during summer homemade soup (various) if I'm super lazy it's just something cold like bread, eggs, various cheese and meat.

Well I do, really. But I'd like to spend more time together as a couple. I'm not bored, I would say I'm quite a content introvert with a good social life. I just have a loooot of me time right now and would like to have a bit more "we time". But we sceduled a "date night" this friday and go climbing tonight, so I guess this week is fine :)

He's very commited and upfront about everything. His honesty is one of the things about hil that I absolutely admire. But thank you very much for your personal story and your answer!

It was our idea. It's "his" town but also near the area where I grew up. The nature is stunning here and the people are awesome. It really feels like home already. As to why I'm not always invited: read some of my other replies. And I'm absolutely, 100% sure that he's honest with me and wants to start a family with me in 2-3 years.

Sometimes I'm invited when I know the people and when I am he always takes care that I can come as well. In my OP it sounded a bit like he didn't want to have me there but this is absolutely not the case! He usually encourages me to come and even invited me to some hunting event this year (I had to work, though). There are events with people he knows from years ago or old school meetings whoch I'm not invited to. Which is ok because those are not couple events. There are no girlfriends or wives …

You're right, but I know that he'd like to spend more time with me. It's usually way better between his terms, we do a lot together then and he even enjoys doing "norhing" for a day or two. And I like having someone with a full live, I couldn't live with someome who would be home every evening with no hobbies beside me.

Thanks for your reply! I'm quite a busy person myself but yes, maybe I need something more "meaningful" in my free time.

Thanks for your reply! You're absolutely right, I know that he's hard working for our future, he tries to finish his degree as fast as possible so we can get married and starting a family. It's just my insecure side that is whining and nagging sometimes, argh!

Oh I know it's not really a bad thing. I'm quite a busy person myself and love having to do something, haha. I also think it's attractive that he's got such a rich life beside me. But thank you for your advice, we will try it!

Thank you for your comment. It's true that my post had a lot of "I"s in it but I guess that was because I was quite in a hurry when I worte it. I had to leave for work. But thanks for pointing that out. I usually try a lot to include him in my thoughts. Actually we already talked about this issue and he is also not happy with the current situation. But we both hope that it'll get better in spring.

If you want to something challenging and really fun, try rock climbing (indoor and/or outdoor). I started lifting weights a year ago but changed to rock climbing and yoga. It's a great full body training, especially arms and core. If you love it, it doesn't feel like "working out".
/r/RedPillWomen22/10/19 06:18 AM

Thank you! I have to see if i can buy them here in Switzerland but if possible I'll give them a try.
/r/RedPillWomen09/07/19 06:12 AM

My Goals for this month are: - Find a new way to improve my makeup foundation. - Going climbing at least 2 times - Declutter and clean the kitchen thoroughly
/r/RedPillWomen05/07/19 01:24 PM

I discovered rock climbing this week and I think this will make me very happy (and steong)! Oh and... yoga, cooking taking walks, reading and socializing.

My ex was about 6'3'', my current BF is 5'7''. I prefer the shorter one, actually. Much more cozy and pratical. I'm not very tall, though.

Do you have any books/podcast recommendations for about self image/self esteem and such? I'm always working on that.
/r/RedPillWomen02/06/19 08:42 AM

I'll try a salmon spinach lasagne tomorrow, hope it turns out great!

I'm also not the kind of "skirts and dresses" type. I love dresses on special occasions (they flatter my body type), but skirt are not my thing. I just try to wear elegant and high quality jeans or other pants with nice shirts or flowery tops. In my opinion "casual" can look very feminine and sexy too. Especially combined with nice shoes (even sneakers) and other accessoires. But it always depends on the man as well. As you said, your husband likes you this way, why change? Or better - maybe you…

It's not ideal and you should not do it again, but such things can happen. When my relationship with my BF was very new (about 1 month in) we celebrated my birthday with a few friends. Now I like drinking alcohol from time to time and he knew that, but I don't drink much and know my limits. But on that evening I reeeally drank too much. He had drive, so he had just one beer. I felt really terrible on the next day and I had to throw up several times. I was SO embarrassed because the relationshi…

I tend to have a problem because I may have read too much about "soulmates", "feeling imcomplete without each other", "always feel connected" and "I always miss him when he's not with me" when I was single. I probably read too much mushy-internet-stuff during those months. But I really love my partner, he's a good man and I know that our goals and interests align. So thank you for your post today. That's really the way of thinking I used to have for years. I just somehow....lost it along the roa…
