I lost the stress weight right away. It's weird how it happens.

My ex told me he did this with his ex. He apparently had been cheated on by her and he supposedly checked out mentally, started his own emotional affair, started acting shitty to her so she'd make the decision to leave, and when she finally ended it with him, he then told me he was upset that she started dating really soon after that. He apparently told her to give it a month but she was like "no, I'll do what I want now". That should have been a red flag for me. He probably was doing the same t…

If he was my ideal in all the other ways (ethical, kind, attractive, tall, smart, funny, moral, relaxed) then yes I'd take it. And if he's OK with us prioritizing my career and doing what we need to so I could stay home with the kids for years 1-2 (kids need to bond with their moms). That is the issue though. Kids need good maternal bonds, so men who provide less make it tougher on women... so they just have to compensate in other ways. But otherwise $$ isnt the main factor for me. Stability mat…

Why would your ex be talking to you if she has someone new? Weird. I personally am learning to care less about $$ and height. I make good enough $ so if a guy makes around what I do, that's great. And I just want someone with a solid enough career. He doesnt need to be a doctor (honestly I prefer he wasnt a lawyer...), just something good and solid and ethical and he enjoys it. And height-wise, all my exes were tall (6' and up). Tall guys just gravitated to me. But I now know while I still PREFE…

Lol. My ex was a bit older than me. He covered parts of early dates, which I appreciated. But I didnt expect him to always pay and he certainly stopped paying after not too long. It actually got a bit embarrassing when he'd be really cheap, but I understood. He didn't have the same stability I had, he also had previously dated a staunch feminist. I'm slightly traditional and like a bit of traditionalism. That includes no sex before serious commitment. Yes I've had pre-marital sex only with two p…

Hmm weird. My ex was the one who couldnt afford much. I had a stable job. As a result, I rarely got dates paid for, which kinda sucks when youre in the early stages and youre dating a guy who's older than you are. And he was my first serious relationship and person I thought I'd marry. It sounds like youve had very specific experiences. That comes across as very jaded. In the real world, you'll need to look at people hollistically. A 20-something is not inherently better for you than a 35 year o…

Yikes. You clearly have a disdain for women and it shows. I'm 30 and I've been with 2 men (both relationships... didnt sleep with the others I dated). Most 20 somethings (aside from the married-since-18 and very religious) have had way more partners than I have. You're making assumptions based on age. Not the smartest strategy.

Lol. Very few men get "more power" as they age. Youre talking about the top 1-10% of guys.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
