In this picture: https://fashtastic.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/menstyle2.jpg How is the guy on the left dressed any better than the guys in the first pic? Also, I think the biggest issue with the guys in the first picture is they way they stand.

You’re welcome. (PS: I’m french) It’s not a message to blame you, but a message to point out the mistake, to help you write that properly in the future. (Also it’s strange, I didn’t think non-native english speakers could do this kind of error, it doesn’t make any sense)

The child may be taken from you at any time for any reason, or for no reason, by the mother and the state. The extent of your involvement in the child’s life is purely at their leisure. Well, that’s only true if you live in the USA. Others may have the possibility to have children.

Ok. You might want to express that idea with an other sentence then. It’s not clear to me that what is boring is to talk about it, and not directly your work. But well, it depends on how the question was asked too.

Girls do that (it happened to me), and frankly I would have preferred them to tell me the truth instead of cutting all communication with me. It may be harder to do, but I find it’s a more sane way to “break up”.
/r/seduction05/01/13 02:44 PM

I’m not a fan of this, but I could understand (I hate when I girl does that to me). But the part where you go back to the first girl when it doesn’t work out with the new one… That’s kind of inacceptable for me. Not telling “I’m leaving you” to her is not really brave, but lying to her later, when you decide that you have nothing better than her… I find that awful.

Also working in computer science, I just tell “I’m a writer”, when they ask “oh, really? what do you write?”, you just answer “softwares”. Most of the time they ask some more details and you can explain in an interesting way what you do (as PrimeTime984 said: "I write programs that help people do X" sounds way better than "I write code".) and then move on. I’ve found that this little “joke” has his effect.

Why? Not everyone is here to get his dick wet¹. I’m personally not looking for sex and that’s why I don’t care about whether she likes it or not (actually I would prefer if she didn’t really like it. That would avoid her to be disappointed.) 1: And that way of thinking that everyone’s final goal here is “have sex” is what I don’t like in this community. I’m tired of reading posts where success = sex and failure = no sex.

Talking about sex is just something you do Ah, of course if dirty talking is something you like to do, I don’t have anything against doing it. (I personally hate that, fwiw) What I’m saying is that it’s not a magic trick that would work every time. My comment was just here to tell “well, it works because you like to do that and it’s fine, but it’s not some kind of magic that pleases any girl”. Of course I’m not saying that you should be worried because the girl might not like it. I personally kn…

They say “yes” to receiving a gum, then “no” to puting their lips on yours… That’s not indecisive. For me, at the moment you put the gum into your mouth, it goes from “giving a gum” to “tricking the girl into kissing you”. Actually I can’t even imagine a girl falling for that if she didn’t already wanted to do it.

Indeed, and that makes the number more valuable. If you get a number from a girl, but you didn’t even talk about an event you could attend to together later, that’s almost a useless number.

I’ll just respond the exact same thing: how can you make a category out of “metal band t-shirts” that makes 100% of them “beta”? Sometimes you wouldn’t even be able to tell it’s a “metal band t-shirt”. I think, in your mind, a metal band t-shirt can only look like this.
/r/seduction29/11/12 01:55 PM
2

Well, I would say that’s wrong. I’ve been picked up by girls who told me later that they wanted me before I even talked to them.
/r/seduction28/11/12 11:56 PM

Now, what does the music has to do with the design of the t-shirt?
/r/seduction28/11/12 04:57 PM

I don’t even understand how you can make a category out of “metal band t-shirts”. Some of them can look like any other t-shirt, or even nicer. How can that be “not attractive” by definition? They just happen to be a metal band t-shirt but that’s all.

Why is that downvoted? I would do that too. It’s showing that you don’t have time to waste with her “maybe”s, that you want a girl who knows what she wants, and that answering “no” is actually better than “maybe”, like you’re not desperate, you actually don’t care that much, you just want to know precisely so you can make other plans. Actually I would say something like “that’s not an acceptable answer. One acceptable answer is one of “yes” and “No because [some reason]““. But the idea is the sa…

a little nicer A LITTLE nicer? That’s not only a little nicer that you should’ve been, it’s a lot. She was approaching you and teasing you, you didn’t need to “play” anything at all. And “can you wipe off the ashes on my pants” is such on horrible thing to say. I know that you shouldn’t be always agreeing with her, nice, complimenting etc, but you don’t need to act like an asshole for that :/

I agree with all of this. Dancing for yourself seems to (really) make you a lot more attractive. I’m not a good dancer, I don’t dance at club (because I don’t go in a club), I don’t even know if I would be able to improvise a dance on a dancefloor. What I do is very, and when you’re a beginner you don’t have the fear to look silly: I do some traditionnal dances (mostly celtic, here are a few video examples of where I go every week: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and you don’t have to be a good dancer, you just …

I don’t understand why you tell “Text as little as possible.”, but you still send a first text with no real information in it. Just random thoughts that don’t lead anywhere. I’m not telling that is wrong, I’m just wondering what is the reason for this first “empty” message. I personally just text when I have something to propose to her, and I do it in the first message.

Of course you have approached women. You do it all the time and don't even think about it. Ever walked up to a woman and spoken to her, someone like a teacher, school employee, store clerk, etc? You do this constantly Do you realize that many people here (starting with myself) would just answer “No, I don’t” to that? Your post is good advices, but assuming people “do this constantly” is wrong, I think. Many people are just shy with everyone and they don’t talk to anyone unless they are forced to…

So how should I do it? How do you people do that? When she says “let’s go at my place!”, you just say “Ok. By the way, did you know I don’t want anything serious? Now let’s go.”?

Thank you very much. If you’re right then I think I’ll have to just look for one night stands and be happy with them (just enjoy the one night, instead of waiting for more later). That’s not perfect but from what people are saying here it seems to be the only acceptable solution.

I see… And that’s probably one of the things that will be the most difficult for me to change… Thinking about that sometimes makes me just want to give up. (FYI, Example1 and I actually did have sex (on the second night, and only because she was very assertive about it…), the second we didn’t because I felt she was (gently and not firmly) pushing me back)

Thanks, that helps for the “stop giving a shit about it” :) To be able to say more than that I'd have to know more about how you have approached the situation so far. Nothing really special, but let’s just say that I’m still not really good at seducing. Most of the time I invite the girl to dance with me, we dance (easy kino), afterwards I just talk about anything, try not to be too boring, keep kino. And we alternate between dancing and talking for the night. I think the reason why I have surpr…

I think I wanted to make things clear a little later, maybe because I thought that having “that discussion” about “where you think this is going?” would immediately break “the moment” and make things awkward (“What happens if she invites me in her apartment to ACTUALLY have a tea and nothing more?”). You may be right, I’ll consider making things clear sooner (maybe in a smart way, not with a “ok, time break, now let’s have a serious conversation about where this is going before we can continue”)…

You say you want "more than sex" with a girl and a "casual relationship". What does that mean? That means that we see each others like a couple, we go out, we do things together, we talk, etc. But we keep in mind that we should not get attached or want to commit more. It’s basically between “one night stand” and “true couple with commitment” (some may call that “friends with benefits” but… Let’s try with a schema: <-- one night stand ---------- friends with benefits -- what I want --------------…

I guess it’s not your usual dancing place, see the link I already gave in an other answer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r44eOQ6Abtc or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjnB4SEdyl8 It would be difficult to describe the girls, but that’s not the kind of girls who meet a lot of guys, who go in night clubs etc. But well, what do I know? or maybe you're a bad lay That’s possible too. I actually like that idea. I’ll keep that in mind and consider it I ever get the question again. Not sure if I’d have the guts to say it when I actually would like to see her again, but let’s see :p

I wouldn't take it personally just yet. Yeah, that’s a problem, because of them I’m wondering if I do something bad, if I completely suck (in bed or anywhere else). Most people go to prowl for sex or have a good time for the night/ weekend. I wouldn’t mind that if the girls would just say, honestly, what they want. I wouldn't suggest going out to the dance club for a casual relationship right off the bat. That’s not actually “the dance club”. It’s more something like that: http://www.youtube.com…
/r/seduction08/11/12 06:28 PM

No, it’s not oneitis because I want “something more” with pretty any of these girls that I find attractive. My issue is that, for now, that happened with none of them and I’m wondering why. I used to tend to get attached easily but I already changed my mindset and that should not be a problem, I’ll keep meeting girls.

Make yourself big, spread your arms and run (don’t just walk) to get to the girl (if the place is appropriate, but it’s almost always appropriate). Make your body and gestures look confident and you’ll be confident. If you do nothing special and just walk in a shy and discrete way to the girl, you’ll just be shy and scared. Also what sunn_ said.

The absolute BEST thing to have with the number is something that you have already planned to do together. For example, when you get a number, if you say “so that we can do something someday”, that’s not really good. You should try to plan something, during your conversation: “I enjoyed dancing with you at this folk/salsa/country party, let’s do that again next Saturday” or “Oh you like Chinese food? We should definitely go to my favourite restaurant this week” and you add “give me your number s…

Great post. Today I had the idea to make a post about winking. But it would have been a lot less interesting than this one. I try to wink as much as possible. I find it awkward to be dancing and go up to a girl and ask her to "dance" without even knowing her name. First: stop finding that awkward. It’s not. That’s ok, natural and everyone does it. Also I’m not an expert (since I’ve never been to any dance floor), but by reading other threads on the subject (also that guide), you do not really need to ask the girl to dance with you. Be “the cool guy on the dancefloor” and invite them with your eyes and your gestures to join you. You’ll talk later. Edit…

Not band tees Why not? Some band t-shirt can have a great look, fit really well and not appear childish. That also depends on the type of girls, or the place you’re going at, of course. I personally were t-shirts like this one or that one (which are both quite tight) and I don’t think that it harms my game. Do you? (asking honest opinion here)
