11	Discrimination against women in science turns out to be a myth I'm a woman who has always been in science and math. Let me just say that I do not see enough "discrimination" to justify much, if any, outside action to help women succeed (referring to beyond high school). 1	A Redefinition of Parental Rights. I agree that the system is biased against men for parental rights. My uncle pays outrageous child support that his ex-wife burns on herself (he would have loved to have his kids live with him). However, the end result is still a person. The idea behind child support is not to punish the other parent, but to allow the child to be raised with similar resources as a 2-parent household. Yes, the system is messed up. 4	Even 'I’m sorry' Is Too Much to Give a Man Falsely acused of Rape Yes, I think keeping the accuser and the accused anonymous until a conviction is a key. Combine that with harsh penalties for deliberate false accusations. Women who maliciously cry rape have the potential to destroy a man's life, and they throw true rape victims into an even greater struggle to be believed. I think the only exception for falsely accusing someone is as a misidentification, which is not the victim's fault. And, as a woman, I also find it insulting. I translate it as, "here is this simple, stupid man; now don't you feel superior?" 1	My friend posted a nice picture of his daughter kissing him on the cheek at dinner on fb. Check out the natural response it invokes in one woman. I cant tell if she thinks boys should be euthanized or are just evil. I agree, tons of problems. I was just saying that I have actually heard of the opposite sentiment (of not wanting a daughter/wanting a son more). Also, where I live in the US has a very high Hmong population, so I guess I was taking that for granted. I don't think it's particularly healthy for the child if the parents are truly disappointed in its gender. 1	TIL That I'm Sexist If you're honestly looking for an answer (can't tell if that was sarcasm), it's likely the "whore" part that did it. Some women don't take that as a casual insult. If she was really conniving behind people's backs, good job on calling her out. I do that too, usually calling people pathetic cowards.
