So a househusband who dies dropping his kids to school, if that is exclusively his responsibility, is as validly a work-related death as a woman who gets killed driving between offices. I'm just trying to point out that the data is inherently skewed to a certain extent and that that should be acknowledged. 1	98% of men who die in the UK workplace are male - silence from politicians, media and equality industry I went through the data the guy got his numbers from (it seemed high to me) and he's a little off but not enough to matter. 128 worker deaths, 123 men and 4 women. so 96.9% :P Interestingly the "member of public" deaths are 37m, 24f - much more even split. One thing I would like to point out is that housewives and househusbands are not included in these statistics. Even that's a bit dodge.
