Did you read your article? It says nothing about if this is a rebound, just that there is a surge (which I am not questioning). It doesn't speak on the underlying cause of the serge...

I mean is that based on any actual numbers? The numbers seem to indicate a bounceback more than anything else imo Anecdotally I know of 2 families that are in that exact boat. Were supposed to go in 2020 but only left the end of last year once things had returned to normal

Isn't this mostly because of the dip from covid, all those who would have come in 2020-2022 are coming now. net immigration cratered during that time and what the world is seeing now is just the backlog coming through
