It seems that you could try three things to solve your problem: 1) start engaging other people in class and giving her a bit of the cold shoulder treatment. 2) conceal your intentions as much as possible. 3) be challenging (you can do this very effectively in the context of a classroom without seeming like an ass). The lesson you take from this experience shouldn't be that "foreign girls don't always get sarcasm." Always make sure you are building comfort with a girl, especially after you have kissed. She wants to be assured that she made the right decision. The fact that she commented on your house speaks of pretty deep interest. Next time, build on her wonder and fascination. Bullshit baffles brains, plain and simple.
