First, I want to say that the wall is a myth. I’m 27 and I get much more male attention then 10 years ago. I hardly see how 3 years (without major life change of course) could make such a drastic difference on my looks. Second, what helped me was a swap of mentality. I adopted a mindset of « why the fuck would I base my self worth on what men think? ». Ironically, that mindset and attitude that comes from it helped me get most men’s respect, and they know they can’t screw me over. Good luck OP

Well this is a way more complicated question, and I do not pretend to know why humans are social being. I bet you could advance some sort of evolutionary hypothesis, i.e. humans did better as a group, therefore the instinctive need for social interaction.

Social life: interactions and connexions with fellow humans. They need it because it’s a basic human need.

To feel that they belong to society, that they “fit in”. Humans are social beings.

Isn’t everybody looking for it, up to a certain degree?

Because it’s the most effective way to get societal praise.

Because no matter what we do, as a woman, it’s only your physical apparence that will be commented on. You could have innovative ideas, or some very good points, but everything will be dismissed by comments on your physical appearance. So therefore, women that are seeking for validation (from society), they will dress up. So why do they choose to do so? Because it’s the most effective way to get social praise. As of men, yes they seek for approval and social valuing too.

Being accepted by society is a basic human need. Men have it too, for exemple by buying expensive cars to show their success. For women, it passes by the apparence, because we are conditionned to believe that all of our value passes by our appearance. As of the provocative way of dressing, (some) women that do it specifically do it for that reason: to provoke. And not necessarily in a sexual way, it’s pretty just often a way to reject the boring “good girl” stereotype. I guess you could see it a…

Because being seen as valuable = being accepted by society in general. For a woman, grooming is actually just conformism.

And yet both are efficient against child support. That’s the point.

Abortion is one way to avoid child support. Putting a condom on is another way.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/20 04:46 AM

Yes it does
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/20 04:44 AM

Yes they are relevant since men can avoid to pay child support by putting a condom on
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/20 04:20 AM

No, men cannot aborbt. But they can prevent the pregnancy. Men don’t want a child? Put a condom. Look out for yourself. If you refuse to do what is in your power to avoid something you don’t want, that’s on you

We are talking about caring financially for the child. Yes, every steps were the birth can be avoided is relevant, starting from the condom.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/20 04:12 AM
1

Yes, since men can avoid the pregnancy. If they choose not to, they are as responsible for the child as the woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/20 04:07 AM
1

It is relevant since it is the direct cause of the pregnancy
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/20 04:03 AM
1

Your question is wrong, since the child is caused by the men’s choice too. So men are not responsible for women’s choice, but for their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/20 03:59 AM

Men still have their word to say in it. If they put a condom in, they can litteraly avoid a pregnancy. It doesn’t matter that they don’t g’have the last choice, they can still make a choice that can change everything. If they don’t, they have to accept the responsability that might come with it. It’s a risk they 100% know they are taking.

YEs condoms are relevant since they can avoid pregnancy. This is a litteral fact. Therefore it’s relevant. And it’s a way available for men to protect themselves. A pregnancy is both the man and the woman‘s respnsabilty since they can both cause or avoid it. Facts and logic don’t care about your feelings
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/20 02:55 AM
1

I would agree with you if men could litteraly do nothing to avoid a pregnancy. But it’s not the case. Be an adult an take responsibility for your actions. Don’t want a child? Put a condom. Men have an out to, and it’s irrelevant at what moment that out is.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/20 02:38 AM
3

Yep it does. It wouldn’t be relevant if men were helpless to children’s conception. Turns out they are not. Don’t want a child? Put a condom. Otherwise you are as responsible for it as the woman. Period.

It’s both’s choice, so both’s burden
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/20 02:31 AM

It’s directly the cause of the conception. So yes it’s relevant

Thé men is actually paying for his choice to not putting a condom on. The man has a part in it, so therefore should share the financial burden of a child he concieved.

I’m going to go against the stream and say to me, it has been mainly social. I am a taller girl (5’9 / 176 cm), and I did had crushes on guys that were shorter than me (never WAY shorter though [and that might indeed be biological, although I can’t say for sure] but few centimetres shorter for sure). But my social circle tease me SO HARD about it, telling me we looked ridiculous together , and back in the days I had extremely low confidence (as a teen), so it bugged me enough to make me stop eve…

I ain’t saying you’re trying to pick up reddit girls, I’m saying that talking shit to people is a nasty habit, that might backfire when it will matter (with the right girl). Might want to correct it before that.

Hearing a prospect talk down like this to someone tends to be a turnoff for positive and optimistic girls. I’m just sayin’

If you call her « completely wrong and retarded » everytime you disagree with her, pretty sure she won’t stay « optimistic and positive, pleasant to be around » for too long.

I guess an explanation would be a kinda beaten wife syndrome. Abused people enter in all sorts of psychological patterns that they cannot escape that easily. So yeah, being an asshole will not lead you anywhere for short term, but will lead you to be a monster if applied on the long term. You don’t wanna be that guy OP

I guess the women equivalent of it would be « I cook every single one of his meals, wash his clothing, take care of his children while working full time while he masturbate to girls that look nothing like me ». Do you agree that these two would be comparable?

This is definitely flirting, and is an absolute lack of respect and consideration towards you. This is not a normal behaviour from a boyfriend and you have every right to be upset about it. My own boyfriend never disrespected me like that, you can find better. Take care 💕

I personally put heavy weights while doing hip thrust only, because it really targets the glutes. I only squat with light weights because otherwise, my thighs bulk up to easily as well!
