2	Video Games in your 40s? Director John Carpenter is 75 years old and an active gamer. The gaming industry is full of people in their 40s, 50s, 60s, etc, working full time developing and playing games. Point is, lots of people play games regardless of age. Gaming is a hobby and the notion that one should grow out of it isn't nearly as culturally ingrained as it once was.
