The only thing I could maybe say in her defense is that a gay person can act just as pervvy (sp?) as any other person and is not an absolute defense against that accusation. Cue classic Key and Peele skit.

No, I meant many many women. Ironically you are so unaware of it that you can not even register it. You literally do not even have a concept. That’s where the education needs to take place. Like the op, a whole audience of men/women laughing at a man for his trauma. Oblivious to the fact that they would never do that to another woman. Or for that matter, an audience of men would not laugh at a woman. Society’s norms have trained you to be unaware of what “you’re” doing. It’s not your fault, but …

How so? Especially in a time where "we need to teach ALL boys/men XYZ." statements that are everywhere. I'm not suggesting we NOT teach boys/men xyz, but how is my statement overarching in light of those? And last, could this be a situation exactly like I posited in my post there, where it's even suggested women might need to change some of their behavior, as a group or individual, that you were more offended by it than reflective on it's merit?

I don't think women have a clue as to how hypocritically unbalanced they want society to be. I completely understand their issues with how they are treated by men; I get it, and they are not wrong to be concerned. But point out something like this?... now, not only do they still want to make fun of the victim, they hate the host too for pointing out their behavior to them. And they don't even register that as an issue. It'll be a long time before we get a true balance in "equal" treatment. And a…

I don't care if you wanna complain about the system we have concerning men/women/babies. But it's a bad example for the point at hand. Don't want baby and it's consequences?.. don't have baby-making sex is at least 1 very obvious way to avoid that situation. The draft doesn't really allow a "well, just don't get drafted clause".. unless you are female.
/r/MensRights07/09/18 12:14 PM

Get a vasectomy, wear a condom, don't having baby-making sex... all ways to not get pregnant, and there's more I'm sure. Women have the right to get abortions, but that doesn't always mean they have access, money, or knew in time to get one. Also, there are women who have to pay child-support. Point is, that one is still not "only male" which I draft still currently is.
/r/MensRights07/09/18 11:42 AM

Yeah, the draft is about the only one that's real. Ironically, it's about getting young men killed, apparently the absolute single thing they're AGAINST when it comes to females making the decision.

"Do you people not get it, it's categorically impossible to sexually assault boys in any way. It's that simple." - a lot of women apparently. (/s if needed)

Your original comment makes no sense. The other person clearly gave you an opportunity to explain yourself better, which was reasonable. You didn't take that thoughtful opportunity and now you are coming across as really stupid.

Modern Feminism isn't about solving double standards or equality. I'm pretty sure modern feminism actively teaches against those things. Modern feminism is to diminish one group (males) to obtain superiority for another (female). It'll survive, like racism, within some circles, but it'll generally pass as unenlightened and nonsensical in time.

You just do a prenup. If she bawks at that, then you just dodged a bullet (as in she was dangerous to you and your stuff). Prenups aren't bulletproof anyways, and they mostly just protect what you bring into a marriage, not what you make during a marriage. The older and more successful you are, the more a prenup makes sense.

Ha. How do you even make the statement that men wouldn't take alimony but women will be hyper-aggressive about it? Men will take free money and completely justify it to themselves everytime. Look, this is a men's rights sub, not a men's delusions sub.

being a mother is a big job.. Being a parent is a big job. It's "easy" to mother a child, little more complicated than fathering one, but in and of itself it's the parenting that is the job. Regardless, concerning the post at hand, do you think there should be a legal premise for a father to disengage in the child and care? In other words a "male" version of abortion?

I wasn't defining "mansplaining" I was telling that "cuck" repeating, incel snowflake that when people tell him he's wrong it's not because he's a man, but because he's an insolent douche. I feel that's pretty clear by what I wrote. What is this, the "dumb men's right" sub? Is there a sub for men's rights that isn't Trump emulating, low reading comprehension, tumblr-feminist level responses?... Because that might be a better sub.

As a male doctor I always get consent (written and verbal), check for triggers, apologize for the entirety of the patriarchy, and inform the patient how utterly stupid and worthless I am in the face of such a magnificent female beast before I give even the most simple, solid, straight-forward and informative medical advice. I feel it's the right thing to do. Don't want to seem like I'm "mansplaining" toxic shock syndrome because you forgot to change your fuckin' tampon.
/r/MensRights22/12/17 09:46 PM

Point is you're nothing more than the moronic dumpster-fire that said the doctor was "mansplaining". "Cuck" and the rest of you're rhetoric would fit right in with the "tumblr feminist" oeuvre, and hence you're just the male version of a 8th grade "feminist" girl. When people tell you you're wrong it's probably not because you're a man, it's because you're juvenile, unimaginative, and wrong. You're just not bright enough to understand that, you know.. exactly like the girl in the post.

I believe that, but I also find that to be a very catch 22 proposition. You'd probably have to be very consistent about it, or just never have a meeting with just one on one with any body. Which I'm assuming would be very difficult. Of the interview/conversation I heard on NPR one of the reporters did note she talked to women who worked with Pence and she said "none of them felt discriminated against". Well, for the past decade the "average" white community has acquiesced to a lot this. "White privilege" (being taught and pushed at university level), the "owning" of words and culture, revisionist history.. because there was/is some reasonable debate about it all. So, the "whites" were like, "fine.. fine.." But that's getting misinterpreted as complete acceptance of the ability to pick on whites as a whole; legally and without consequence. I think there is real victim blaming in this world. They're not bad questions to ask: Why was the victim in this circumstance, what were they doing, what was their intent, etc. .etc.. This allows for understanding how an assault might have happened. BUT... At some point there was a legal assault and that should be the issue. But there are a lot of people that want to only focus on the victim's faults, and not the assaulter's. Statutory rape on young male? .. "he wanted it anyways", is classic vi…

That is a fair and rational personal decision. Perhaps someday it will become a law or perhaps a realized social norm. (I'm pro-choice) I still find it odd most of us are literally okay with killing babies, but a removal of (pretty reasonably rationalized) unneeded piece of skin is loathsome to people. We're all just a bunch of hypocrites with our personal little feelings on all sorts of things, rarely fully realized or competently rationalized. I'd ask again then, and I'd say specifically if yo…

Yeah. In the end it'd still be subjective, but we'd have to have enough adult individuals pre and post circumcision to inform us to the best of their abilities the change. Not a study many folk would probably undertake. But it would be interesting. P.S. Your anecdote doesn't seem to correlate with other posters who state the foreskin is more sensitive than the glands. You're just a "black and white" person... and your emotions are not allowing you to read what I wrote with a sense of rationality. You saw a post that wasn't over-the-top bashing circumcision and you flipped the f-out. I said they were both mutilation. Agreed. And to reiterate, I'm not condoning either procedure, but I did them at parents request. And to further note, never in med-school or residency were we ever even suggested to promote it. We just didn't "depromote" it. We always talked risks. Since I was in school though a lot of research has come out, some pro.. and I'd say much more con.

You are very misinformed on multiple aspects of this topic. I am, even as a doctor, not saying I am the most informed; I just offered up my experience and knowledge. Phimosis? As an M.D. I've preformed ~50 circumcisions in my residency. I don't now in private practice. It was always done by request/consent of parents and it was never encouraged (in my experience). It apparently is just an American norm. An analogous situation might be clipping the frenulum of the tongue of an infant. Rarely is it necessary. It has some objective "benefits" and some anecdotal benefits. It could be left alone though. I always feel obligated to point out that cutting out the clitoris (th…

That sounds like an ass of a professor not an indication of your relationship with them. Maybe that's not the whole story. That is almost objectively wrong. Get the grades, get the equivalent mark, whether that's H.S, college, or post-grad (I've been through each). Perhaps the perception that is the case is because disinterested aloof students tend not to be too engaged in the material and it shows in their grades. Whereas students who engage the teacher in the subject tend to want to do well and it shows in their grades. Good point about their mental health too. Even with any "imperfections" if she's a good women (or even then) learning how to compliment them or saying positive things to them is so meaningful to how they perceive themselves. I don't know what to say if they're not even trying to be healthy, but if they are trying, a kind word goes a long way. Oh, and spankings. (p.s. I don't know the true effectiveness of spankings)

This happened to a patient of mine. Granted the mom hid the pregnancy and ~17 years of the child's life from the dad, but then sued for back child support. The judge tossed her out with strong words. The dad did not have to pay in that scenario. Glad for some basic logic there.

Quick Google: 20.7 deaths per 100,000 men for prostate cancer per year 21.5 deaths per 100,000 women for breast cancer per year Both stats from: https://seer.cancer.gov/statfacts/html/breast.html (or prostate in place of breast). So, if that's accurate it would suggest breast cancer is slightly more deadly per 100,000 people, but technically rather equal. Now add in how many men die from breast cancer each year vs. how many women die from prostate cancer and I'd assume more men die from prostate…

You're correct, at least to a point. Health is more about whether they're physically active, hopefully eat decent diet and have good psychological wellness. Weight is a risk factor for illness, but isn't in itself an illness (yes, I'm aware of the new updates by the official board of MDs, but that's very controversial). How is aborting a baby subjective? It is completely objective science that by destroying the growing fetus in utero results in loss of pregnancy and the termination of said fetus which, if generally left alone, would have been carried and birthed as a human baby (other contingencies not-withstanding). So you see positives in female circumcision. So even if you're apposed to it, you understand its warrant. That's called knowledge, and in time wisdom. If it proves to be more beneficial than not, we proceed, if not, then we change practice. This is how science is suppose to work. In the meantime it's debatable. Good for you.

You didn't link anything. Are there positives to female circumcisions? I'd read it if you linked it. I didn't link anything about the positives of male circumcisions because it's generally accepted I'll put the first google result as an example Seriously though, there is general consensus that there are definable positive reasons for a male circumcision. Link me one about females and I'll ponder it. I will (almost certainly) never do one, but if that's your thing, but let me have it. I will say …

What a strange person. I'm going to go away before you taunt me a second time.

Female circumcision: I know of no benefits. Known negative outcomes. Male circumcision: Known benefits, known negative outcomes. You have a (poorly determined) agenda. I have to deal with real patients. You want to get involved?... get in-fucking-volved... we could use some help in the medical field anyways. (and we don't need dip-shit board-room think-tank fuck-offs who know shit about shit... it would help if someone got out in the actual fucking-field and helped us.)

Like me, you're borderline insane. The Glans Penis (indeed not the "glands") is by far and away the more erogenous area for the male. You can learn this by being and/or talking to any male ever. The foreskin... is just that. It's like you're saying the shaft is more erogenous than the head... ummmm.. I don't think so. The CLIT is a very sensitive area, the skin surrounding it, although erogenous, isn't as sensitive. Talk to females.. if they'll allow you to.. it's stimulation of the clit that ge…

We DO give girls double mastectomies to prevent further breast cancer. That's actually not that uncommon of a procedure. But cutting out the breast at infancy would probably harm WAY more than it helped. Not so for male circumcision. But that is a little tricky point. It may not prevent a LOT of issues, but very little is lost (in your case probably VERY little... ahahahhah.. burn!) in the medical, scientific, and generally accepted practice of today. You're bordering on anti-vaccine stubbornnes…

Ever hear "prevention is worth a pound of cure"? There's a little bit of an argument to be made about that for male circumcision. There's really about zero, if not zero, for female circumcision. (ie: as a practice done BEFORE an issue). Now... I will grant you this. We are living in a time where IF a male has an issue with his non-circumcised penis he MIGHT be able to find medical treatment more readily. But this wasn't an option for A LOT of people (and still many) up until the past few decades…

And third world countries do in fact cite POSITIVES for female genital mutilation Start listing them jackass, and I'm expecting citations. You amuse me in your "not-divorced-from-reality" thinking.

Oh my. I had to leave for a few moments... dentist appointment, thought that maybe I was getting a root canal (it was postponed). But do you know what is more painful than a root canal? That video. Did you make that? If so, why don't you go ahead and give yourself a "stage IV" male circumcision. You're horribly undereducated on male vs. female circumcisions in the world today, or you INTEND to mislead. The male circ is clipping/removal of the foreskin that acts as a natural "hood" to the glands …

Yeah, I don't think I'M the one missing the point. As a doctor I understand nature has it's intention on putting things where they're suppose to be. But just like the appendix sometimes nature gives us shit we don't really seem to need... and it harms a lot of people. The fucking point you're missing is the relative MASSIVE distinction between the two procedures. There are multiple POSITIVES to male circumcision, and almost (to my knowledge) NO positives to a "female circumcision". One is done w…

Currently, it's gone for good. It is a life-time decision at this point. I'm not arguing the pro/con of male circ at this time. I AM arguing that there is a big difference between the two. And just because female mutilation (esp. the more invasive) isn't very common for MOST of us, it exist and it's truly depriving people of an aspect of life most of us thoroughly enjoy. There's a spectrum to this, like abortions. I want them to be legal, but there should be some considerations to the procedure …

I hope people realize this isn't a mandatory procedure in the U.S. Parents/Guardians have to give consent before it's done. No consent, no circ. One can wait for consent from the individual child.. but it should be considered: How many children are going to "give consent" for Vaccines, Braces, Dental procedures, sutures, eating vegetables, bed-time, hair-cuts and toe-nail clippings, etc... and how often do we force them to do them anyways. The "consent" argument is a little blinded. Sometimes pa…

The answer, of course, is then: nevermind.

I like women. I like children. These two phrases are truths to me. I don't mean I like ALL women or children, but I like the ones I like. Based on that simple formula men realize we are going to and we will treat them with that respect. If that somehow makes an imbalance in the universe then a man says "okay, I can be that imbalance". It is what makes men beautiful.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
