Equality not bonding people is a very telling thought, very poignant, and wise. But having a sister, I can see room for both a & b to coexist. I don't want to be mothered by my girl, but I like when she cooks for me etc. Now I'm not sure where I'm going with this.

I've found the whole mother/son or father/daughter angle insightful. But when discussing this with a friend he said, "What about brother/sister?" Which would naturally seem like a more "equal-footing" and competitive relationship. I wasn't sure how to answer him. What do you guys think?

It's obvious you're very passionate about the sidebar, as such I have scoured it, and after some linking, found most of the information I requested. As much as I've enjoyed this exchange, sadly, I will no longer be requiring your services. Many thanks.

OK, I have so many questions: What is "no participation?" What is brigading? What are NP links? We're not supposed to link to other subs? We're not supposed to participate in other subs? Are we supposed to have separate accounts for each sub we subscribe to? WTF does any of this mean?

Stop pointing fingers and be the solution.

So it's an issue of putting the kids before the new spouse then? Removing their potential authority as a parent?

Does anybody else not have a downvote button? Am I missing something?

Personally I don't want to raise anyone else's kids. But don't redpillers as a general rule dislike the idea of boys being raised by single mothers? How does this fit into the discussion?

I agree with jsh1138 and your instincts seem good. I haven't always gotten along with all the friends. Just continue to be better for her than they are, and if your old lady is worth her salt she'll spend the time with you over them.

If he's no longer into the girl why should he close? Also, if he has sex with her at this point isn't he just validating her actions/rewarding bad behavior?

I empathize with you, bro. Been lurking here for a while after spending some time on the "manosphere". Oddly or not I found the red pill while in a committed relationship, but I have to say it's made my relationship better and it's made me better in the relationship. This is not just a place for pick up artists, its a place for Men to get some respect, for other men, and for themselves.

If being red pill means that all the miraculous achievements of men are just for pussy, then call me a feminist. If men are jest a sex drive, then all the power really does belong to women.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
