I completely agree with you there.

Just because someone is an asshole to you, doesn't excuse your behavior to someone else. I don't know why you find that hard to understand. I was never defending her stepfather and I fully agree with you that he is should be in jail. However, her action is unacceptable because it ruined a man's life. For example, if someone did some injustice to you, are you allowed to randomly go and stab a stranger? The answer should be a clear no. Saying "no" to that question doesn't mean that you think that …

So just because something bad happened to you, you have the right to take it off on someone completely innocent? If you have issues, get them treated or get the right kind of help - don't blame an innocent person and ruin his life. I don't care what happened to you, that is frankly not acceptable. Sure what happened to you is bad, but don't accuse someone falsely and ruin his entire life, and expect people are going to think you were right to do that.

Many people have emotional issues, but that is not excuse for putting someone innocent in jail. I don't care how much you try to argue for it, but it makes no god damn sense. Stop being led by emotional arguments.

Read the article first. PPD is PPD even if you are emotionally unstable about it.

Are you going to give the man his life back? Or do you think it was okay because it was just the small girl who did him wrong?

So are you ready to spent the rest of your life in jail because a small child was scared? Please cut the BS. This kind of emotional response is why we can't have a fully functioning court system.

Yup, I looked into it, and looks like she is an absolutely crazy nut-job. There is proof of fb messages that shows that she didn't think highly of the situation, but she claims that was all a ruse to talk to him about the rape. She even claims that the university investigator asked inappropriate questions. Despite not having a case what so ever, she publicaly shamed and bullied the guy through the entire campus by 'carrying a mattress around her until she graduated' and spread flyers spreading n…

No. It isn't automatically a false accusation, but it also isn't a proven accusation either. Innocent until proven guilty. No evidence = nothing to build a case on. I don't know why this country is so backwards when it comes to this. When you claim that he should get arrested based on no evidence, that's when you get to the territory of "should she get arrested for false accusation?" This should be avoided. The real idea should be to only take action with evidence.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
