Recently stumbled upon TRP community while trying to get a better idea of the male perspective. You're damn right I did. "Agree and amplify". Am I doing it right? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/15 07:04 AM
Recently stumbled upon TRP community while trying to get a better idea of the male perspective.TRP is telling men that all women want alpha qualities, I'm disagreeing with this. It seems that you're the one getting "butthurt" at the fact that not everybody thinks the way you feel they should think. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/15 07:01 AM
Recently stumbled upon TRP community while trying to get a better idea of the male perspective. When in this entire thread have I claimed that women are not guilty of being unfair toward the opposite sex? The only reason I haven't brought up TBP is due to the fact that the whole sub is a satire and there is no content to seriously discuss. I agree that women can be just as equally scummy as men. I don't claim that either one is greater than the other. This post was specifically about TRP and the views I came across in the sub. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/15 06:59 AM
Recently stumbled upon TRP community while trying to get a better idea of the male perspective.I'm not an expert on RP theories either, but what I gather from TRP is that in order to be successful, the man must be alpha. I simply cannot agree with this black-and-white approach to love and sex. I can admit that most women want and look for the same qualities in a male partner, but most women are not all women. You're right, a strong and physically attractive man sounds good to me as it would to any woman. But my personal preferences are still more inclined toward the gentle, sensitive and … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/15 06:49 AM
Recently stumbled upon TRP community while trying to get a better idea of the male perspective. It's personally discouraging to me as a woman who already has trouble finding the type of beta/nice guy that's ideal for my personality type. I just don't like the idea of nice guys giving up on being nice guys, and I don't like the idea that TRP's ideas seem to only cater to a specific type of woman's needs and not to all. I don't necessarily think that that should deter a man from wanting to change and I can't stop anybody from changing either. I can only put my opinions out there for discussi… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/15 06:18 AM
Recently stumbled upon TRP community while trying to get a better idea of the male perspective.I see you've cleverly omitted the remaining part of that section where I go on to explain that no, not all women are this way. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/15 06:01 AM
Recently stumbled upon TRP community while trying to get a better idea of the male perspective. You make a valid point. Fair enough. I don't necessarily like it or agree with it, but I can at least understand why. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/15 05:48 AM
Recently stumbled upon TRP community while trying to get a better idea of the male perspective.I don't think that TRP is a misogynist sub. The way that you define AWALT makes complete sense to me. How could I be against self-improvement? I agree that all women are capable of shitty behavior, as well as all people. But I do feel that there is a danger that lies within the type of content posted by men working through their "anger phase". When I see men promoting behavior that belittles and disrespects women, it worries me. I don't think it's the right approach, and it's probably not what T… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/15 05:32 AM
Recently stumbled upon TRP community while trying to get a better idea of the male perspective.I don't know your specific situation or history, so I'm a little limited in my response. I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that if you're naturally a "nice guy", you want to change who you are fundamentally in order to get your "dick wet". It's very discouraging to women who are not attracted to the alpha type male. But yeah, I definitely agree it's the lesser strategy out of the two if we're only speaking of success rates. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/15 05:23 AM
Recently stumbled upon TRP community while trying to get a better idea of the male perspective.I agree that there is a disconnect. I don't think that either side is to blame if that's what you're implying. It's true that more women prefer alpha over beta. Thinking along these lines, the chances of finding a woman who prefers beta > alpha are slimmer than the opposite. This doesn't mean that the women who "claim" to prefer betas are only simply claiming to. It also doesn't mean that these women don't exist. I feel that the majority of men are attracted to a specific type of woman. I also f… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/15 04:51 AM
