| 2 | Why would women not appear on first dates instead of simply telling they are not interested?As a guy with two female best friends I can say it's likely the uncertainty of what your reaction might be. Girls get a lot of abuse from guys who act nice then turn into complete assholes when they get rejected. It happens, not much you can do except not take it personally, she didn't know you well enough to feel comfortable saying thanks but no thanks.
