| 4 | Engagement timeline?Together 3.5 years, living together for 3. It actually is a career opportunity that good! I work in a niche field and I'm still working on getting my foot in the door so I'm SO excited to work there. Objectively it wouldn't be my first choice but it's probably the biggest city in my country, there's so much to do, and my best friend lives there. I'm sure I can learn to love it. | 2 | Engagement timeline?Sorry that's the first thing I jump to since that's what my mom has always been very concerned about. Quite frankly I'm not sure what I'm going to want to do since between the move and starting a new job there's been enough big changes in my life. I don't think I'm going to be putting my foot down for a couple months at least, it just worried me that he wanted to look for houses so soon. If I gave an ultimatum that I'm leaving unless we get engaged, I know that he'd do it but then I would forever be feeling like it wasn't something he wanted, just something I made him do. Thanks for the tough love, from an outside perspective it's easy to see I've made some really dumb mistakes. The move is being paid for by his job so financially I'm not out anything for this.
