I can attest to this one. I've had quite a few actually try to attract me and when asked why they always give the "you're so mysterious" bit 100% of the time.

Well that mainly goes with the saying "everything in moderation". Just set some hard limits with how much time you'll allow yourself. If you're worried about it cutting into your productivity then maybe use it as a reward for doing something productive instead of a simple pastime.

Video games for challenges and enjoyment mainly. I also love anything to do with chemistry and a little bit of biology. I find them to be extremely interesting and thought-provoking.

19 here, turning 20 soon, but yeah this basically sums up why I hate most of my generation. Stupid rhetoric and skin made of tissue paper.

I'm in the same situation. I just laugh in her face and tell her finding someone is pointless because they won't reach my standards. Then, if she pushes it I tell her how it is and that's why she hates me. I enjoy it every time. Idk what you should do though.

While I usually would agree I have actually seen my own sister adopt similar thinking when on the verge of losing her own boyfriend. It's not self awareness though, its self pity disguised as self awareness.

This remind me of a couple months ago when I scooped up a bird from drowning in a large puddle while it was down pouring. Sadly he didn't make it and I still think about it.

I have never thought about it that way honestly. Thank you for opening my mind up to a different outlook on it.

Lol man she was a "keeper". But, thanks. Its just hard to deal with regret when it rears its ugly head to the front of your mind.

No, trust me man. Id rather have someone like-minded to me give advice ratger than a stupid fucking "oh she probably felt super bad and you still shouldve done some therapy stuff" type shit.

Im fairly new but from what i gathered. The "plantation" is a reference to our history when slave plantations were common. Its more referring to being a slave to women (in any way but mainly financially) rather than working 9-5.

True true, but many men still need a community like this to help direct them to this freedom. In this world there is way too much manipulation and propaganda that can get a man thats struggling right back into the plantation. For some it may just be hard to watch a community thats flourishing to end in such a despicable way.

I assume because its easier to manipulate a man who isnt happy. if a man is happy they destroy the cause to make manipulation work.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
