I just saw this on my front page, and read it on my break. Needless to say, its incredibly sad. The fact that this shit even happened and is still happening sheds a little light on how fucked up this shit can be. The poor kid was 13 years old when his life was fucked. Personally, I have been in situations in my past where this easily could have happened to me. You have no idea how thankful i am that it never did.

I am 23 years old and can honestly say I am truly happy and hopeful for the first time in years. I no longer have to project my happiness because it just happens. The information on this site and in the books that are recommended reading are invaluable. Never again will I put a women on a pedestal. Never again will I have to be a puppet. I will forever be thankful for trp. So far it has been the single most pivotal point in my life. And for that, I am forever grateful

I like to imagine my self standing on the edge of a cliff looking off into an ocean filled sunset. I breath deeply in my day dream and in reality, and I leap. Just leap... Make the jump. Dive in. For example: tonight was my 5 year class reunion. Got off work around 10 pm, got spiffed up and parked outside the bar. At that moment there was 4-5 minutes of moderate anxiety and I was in the process of convincing myself "I was too tired, and blah blah blah". Then I thought about it... "Just leap dude…

Agree and amplify Ignore Reframe But honestly things like this shouldn't be discussed via text, imo. Saying either nothing, simply "ok", or even "we can talk about it in person" is all that is needed. The issue with texting is that there isn't a way to convey body language and eye contact; which are two crucial parts of presenting and maintaining frame
