“It makes me feel anxious when...” Then again, that line is exactly what got me here in the first place. She dried up instantly.

I like seeing out of shape people become regulars. I like being able to witness their progress firsthand over time.

Since this is a post about AP English, just remember that affect is a verb and effect is a noun. The second book we read is “The Awakening” by Kate Chopin, and when the teacher announces it she goes on a twenty minute rant about how us boys must expand our minds and not be effected affected by any bias about feminism. Sorry for being that guy. All of my English classes had shit reading selections too. Edit: one trick for remembering is that a comes before e alphabetically, and you have to have a…

lol, this always cracks me up. I’m left of center on most issues. It’s fun being grouped in with the alt right solely because I’ve swallowed the pill.

sleeeep! I am a multiple all nighter per week guy and when I got my t levels checked I was low. adequate sleep imo is one of the top reasons the stereotypical nerdy guy is extra frail (lifting is huge, but there are relatively ‘normal’ weight people who don’t lift). One of our biggest sources of natural t comes in deep sleep. Make sure your workouts don’t go to waste by getting adequate sleep.

i enjoyed this post. wish i had read it a decade ago, though am/was too fucking stubborn to probably listen. 27, quarter million in debt from law school I dropped out of on my final semester. now i’m working for myself, slave level poor, but I only moderately hate my life and there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. some good fucking tips here.

I just sort of found a new group through racquet ball. I hit a lot on my own and one day saw a group and asked if they wanted a fourth. Became a regular thing and now we play a few times a week and get drinks. Surprisingly easy. Find a sport or hobby that includes other people and just inject yourself with whoever else is doing it. This could backfire, sure. But it’s pretty easy to tell when I’m not wanted, which Im certain isn’t the case. I keep getting group messages and invites. It’s been a p…

I learned this after I started lifting in undergrad. I used to weave walking across. After I started lifting I would just walk in a straight line and it felt glorious watching the sea of people part in front of me.

yeah, I was disappointed with the take away. Not one of them felt inspired by the picture. They should have treated it as something they could become, but none of them did. Instead it was just "oh well, i guess i'll focus on being a better person." Pathetic response to what could have been great inspiration.

Totally agree. All of my research told me not to cycle that early into lifting but I was stubborn and wanted instant gains. Valuable lesson learned. Staying natural for the foreseeable future. Who knows, maybe I'll try again in a couple years.

Curious to learn more about the science for this. Worked out consistently for about a year at the end of undergrad. Got up to ~205 lbs at 6"0', 255 bench, ~400 squat. 9 months in I did a cycle of test-e and dbol (which was stupid, because body couldn't keep up and got injured soon after), so I wasn't natty. Around the 9 month mark I was at 180. Eventually got injured which ended my cycle. Meanwhile got back together with my oneitis. Stopped working out altogether. Went to law school, depression,…

This. She might not even have to say it. Family life is busy and once the little shit and puker shows up, you'll be lucky to see him once a month, if even that. Expect maybe a couple times a year. One of my best friends got married a couple years ago. I was best man. Wedding n shit. And to give her some credit, we still hung out relatively frequently. I was pleasantly surprised. Would meet and drink weekly. No more bars but whatever, got to see my bro. Then the kid is born. I first met the kid l…

Nah, Hosea is a representation of God. He gets cheated on hardcore by his slut wife Gomer, representative of Israel. The closest tl;dr: of the Bible is be like Christ/godly/like God. So applying Hosea, forgive your woman when she fucks other dudes and cucks you in the same way you cuck God by fucking other philosophies. In short, my comment stands. If you can constantly forgive a cheating woman and stand by her you are righteous, doing what Christ would do under many Biblical interpretations. It…

Or just quote the fuck out of Hosea, where you're righteous if you're a cuck.

as long as they're "looking for weapons" and find it while remaining within that scope, they can nail you under plain view doctrine. Has to be reasonable to think it possibly could be a weapon to remove it. Current interpretation is so damn broad they can almost always come up with something.

Terry v. Ohio is the case that allows cops to conduct a limited search for officer safety if they have reasonable, articulable suspicion that a crime was/is being committed. That's the infamous Terry stop that gets so many people fucked if they have weed or some shit on them.

Yes. Anabolic steroid use paralleled with exercise may lead to dysplasia of collagen fibrils, which can decrease the tensile strength of tendon. Changes in tendon's crimp morphology have been shown to occur, as well, which may alter the rupturing strain of tendon and the normal biomechanics of the extremities. Given the megadoses of steroids taken by some athletes and the large forces incurred by power-trained musculature, the integrity of tendinous tissue in these athletes may be at significant…

I'm not at all an expert, but my opinion is that dbol is not worth taking sans a cycle. It's hard on your liver and kidneys and will fuck up natural testosterone production. I've only seen it used for a couple weeks to "kick start" a cycle. It's a bad idea to use only that, as gains would be moderate for the price of having to endure PCT. Even worse of an idea would be to use it for only one night, as you get only a tiny benefit at the cost of a fucked up endocrine system and a shitty liver. And…

Depends upon the ester used, which changes the half life and how fast your body processes the molecules. Test-enanthate takes about 2 weeks-a month, test-cypionate takes about a week to a week and a half, test-proprionate a few days to a week, test-sustanon about a day or two. These are all rough estimates that will vary from person to person and dose to dose. It's common for people to take a some type of prohormone/oral steroid for immediate effects while waiting for the testosterone boost to k…

former steroid user here. another reason for cycling is to give your natural testosterone production a chance to normalize again. then of course there are those who cruise and blast, basically going normal HRT (or higher) full time with intermittent periods of shitloads of testosterone. one thing that was cool about them was super fast recovery times. could basically do 7 days a week if you wanted. I only did one 3 month cycle though, and it's been years, so if there are other reasons for cyclin…

Confidence must be the natural state for all humans. Our natural confidence gets diminished due to limiting beliefs that happen as we grow older. As we grow older we start to believe that we are being watched or judged for all our actions I think this is a valid point. I lived a sizeable chunk of my life as though I were the subject of The Truman Show. At the end of the day nobody gives a fuck, and far too much energy is devoted to trivial things that don't matter.
