I wonder if he would be so confident to do that to a man. I think you guys like to hit women because you're afraid of losing. It's only a matter of time before you get the wrong woman and she clocks your ass.

Some people walk the walk though. Portman clearly isn't one of them. Did you hear she wrote an academic paper that was published??? So that means her opinion matters more than other people? This chick was a staunch Hillary supporter from when Clinton first ran for Senate, and obviously it was only because Hillary, the double-talking pantsuit, is female. Could she have possibly have seemed more bored to be in Star Wars? Between her and the cardboard Backstreet Boy they hired to play Anakin, nothi…

Boy oh boy you sure have to tell us about all these liberals who you talk to who are all so disgusted. You talk to so many, that it's a real shame that I've never met one, nor has most of anybody here. But in YOUR circle, there's a real rebellion along liberals, huh? They are so disgusted by what they're doing to poor President Trump!! If "Jews are Nazis" then does that make Bernie Sanders a Nazi? "I'm learning so much from you, Trump supporter!" said no one, ever. Oh wait, don't tell me. You aren't a Trump supporter, just a "lifelong Democrat" (I believe it) who has turned to the other side because of such unfairness towards President Trump! Is that closer to the story that you want to tell us?

Imagine if they CGI'd Charlize to be ugly, so she can do scenes with Kristen Stewart. It's been done before, however inadvertantly. Anyone see that James Franco flick, "Oz the Great and Powerful"? Remember what they did to poor Mila Kunis at the end!?

Also, she stuck up in every interview. She used to be much worse, but she has this air of a spoiled kid who doesn't know how to socialize, so she acts condescending to the person with whom she's speaking. The interviews she did with Letterman stick out in my mind, but those were a while ago.

I'm scared to even look up the year she said that. I'm guessing that it at least after the beginning of the Iraq war. Which is frightening, because she was a US Senator and would soon run for President for the first time. You would to think a person of such status would know the dramatic, narrow-minded flaw of her reasoning in this statement.

It also sounds like this girl is only thinking about herself in regard to this issue. I wish these people would get called out more. It isn't enough just to find a solution that appeases your interests; self-awareness and maturity dictate that when you lead, you take charge of everything happening under your watch. Including maybe avoiding alienating the entire male gender by purposefully paying them as second class citizens for the same work that women do. Gender should not play a role at all i…

What bothers me about the commercial is that it's so tone deaf in its implementation. A dude gets stopped from walking up and taking to a girl on the street, maybe hit on her, who knows, but we won't get to know, because his friend stops him and says, "That ain't cool." With that example, I get that harassment on the street is what they're trying to cover, but literally, if we're going to implement what they suggest in this example, how are men supposed to even introduce themselves? Stalk her in…

Oh, you'd be surprised. Plenty of doctors are good at memorization, but are shit about critical thinking or patient empathy. I was told by a pulmonary doctor that the lump in my chest plate was there before and I just hadn't noticed it. Turned out to be an infection in my rib and it had to be removed surgically. So you disagree with the original post that women enforce this on other women, and therefore men have no part of it? Let's take the Rwandan genocide. The Hutus slaughtered the Tutsis. Aren't so-called "feminists" just looking for things to complain about at this point? There's a law on the books in the US where if two adults over the age of 21 happen to be in the same room, and both had more than two drinks, that if the female decides later on that she was taken advantage of that it is legally rape. And I'm even in agreement with this law because men tend to be stronger and alcohol makes coercion that much harder to fight off, but maybe give men of society A LITTLE CREDIT for…

Well, think of who she married, though. It wasn't the man who Walter White would become. I think that's what makes her an important character, like an anchor to who Walter used to be and who she always wanted him to be -- a boring high school chemistry teacher who works at a car wash part time. You can't realistically expect her to be on board upon learning about his meth business, especially after hiding it from her for how long, which is a pretty serious betrayal for any normal marriage, right…

I haven't watched Sons of Anarchy, but the new Jurassic Park has a similar deal with the ending. Not gonna spoil it, but anyone who has seen it knows what I mean about who is responsible for how it ended. I'm tempted to even spoil it because it's kind of a disappointing ending that leaves it open for a new level of sequels to a franchise that perhaps needs to go extinct.

Hate to tell ya guys, but I'm pretty sure this is a bit. That's Bonnie McFarlane and Rich Voss. And I'm a very, very, very, very low level comic, but this is sort of my life right now. It's a crappy documentary that should never have been released -- only because you shouldn't release a piece of shit, even if money was spent making it -- but the humor intended here is how ridiculous it is that female comics have to go through this pretense that they aren't funny when, in fact, they are. I had no idea that the US military actually keeps that sort of double standard of fitness between genders. Had always assumed that women held up to the same standard as the men. Why isn't this an issue? Seriously. It doesn't add up. As someone else here said: opportunity should be equal, but not merit. Merit must be earned by holding up to a universal standard.

/r/PussyPassDenied02/10/17 10:03 AM

In fact, she took this beating more like a civilian than like someone of the conduct that I've noticed to be impressed upon those in Marine Corps boot camp. Sniveling and calling "time out", so to speak (ie. the ref unceremoniously broke it up a number of times for whatever reason surrounding how badly he was winning), isn't what they teach you in the Marine Corps. I found her conduct to be pretty disappointing on that level.

That is EXACTLY what the modern feminist's definition of sexism is. Ironically, that is EXACTLY the type of generalization that you're disavowing. The problem with all the pseudointellectual posturing around terms like "feminism" these days is that when everyone tries to claim authority over the definition in their own way, then no one has authority over the definition because the term then no longer has any meaning. If he still had a show and had Lebeouf on, not only is there a good chance that he'd say this to his face, but to make things "right" by his producers, he'd turn on his concept of journalistic integrity (which is to say, to throw actual journalistic integrity out the window) with pegging the question, "Just how did it feel, getting raped?" Because that's what Piers Morgan does. Piers Morgan has no sense of empathy, whatsoever. His apparent concept of professionalism reminds me of those kids from…

Yeah, to be frank, I don't see what the big deal was from that clip. Pelosi was really just expressing what she always has regarding the issue surrounding the Hobby Lobby ruling, and that seemed to be the ultimate point. If some tends ruffled the feathers of the sensibilities of the more sensitive men's rights warriors among us, the editing like you mentioned seems to show that it was probably created for that very purpose and not the point that Mrs. Pelosi was expressing. Besides, she's too muc…

What do you mean, "false flags"? Like ones that are green, black and orange? Or what? I'm genuinely curious (and yes, have listened to his show a number of times, including when he's had the traitor he refers to as "Colonel North" on).

And your first line of defence is ad hominem. Guess who comes off as a jerk in this situation, hmmm?

Was his wife a dog whisperer too? Oh wait, she doesn't have any talent at all, yet gets to take half his shit and a third of a million dollars every year. In fairness, in some situations (not saying it's this one), much of the emotional support to become successful comes from the spouse, and sometimes years pass by and the marriage sours. It doesn't mean it's right to forget the priceless assistance a spouse can give along the way. I realize this is speaking in the most optimal of circumstances.…

..or this whole crap is made up. ..or whomever has this happen to them is too thin-skinned to deal with life in general, much less parenthood. I wonder if there's a point where the father is such a damned sissy, that Child Services intervenes and takes the child away.

You broke down in front of your child because of something that was said. That's pretty pathetic, man.

I don't think it's a "thing" either. I think whoever made this, and those supporting it, have to grow up and get some thick skin. "Poo-HOO!! Mommy, the mean teenager called me a pedofile!!"

In my book, it depends on how hot she is that signifies rape. I just might like to wake up to a purdy lady riding me.

Please explain for the court: how does female rape on men work, exactly?

Let's please remember, just for fairness sake, that John Boehner appointed men (white men, in fact; all of'em) to head all House committees, kicking out the women who, ya know, could have been more qualified from the experience. I can't speak much for the latter quite frankly, but seriously, the House is supposed to represent all of the US citizens. It just doesn't look good, demographically. So NOW isn't completely off-base for this concern.

It's almost a social epidemic that folks who live a good life due to easy breaks, lucky breaks, whatever, act like everyone can handle problems they bypassed for whatever reason just like they have. IE. Romney's answer to eliminating Pell Grants: "Just borrow money from your parents to pay for college." I'm sure that most of you have your own examples. EDIT: Come to think of it, I don't know of a more "let them eat cake" saying for modern times as that one for the Presidential candidate shudder …

I find "Step up" to be more gender appropriate, and more likely what men have told me in such a situation that requires courage. As in, step up to the plate.

Such women deserve to be lonely. Many women are not this hypocritical at all. And the former would remain lonely if men stopped going after them. So frankly, it would seem the ball is in our court, isn't it? Conclusion: stop going after drama queens.

I agree with your latter statement and will take the downvotes that result. The statement in this jpeg (so classy to be all text.. I thought there was an unwritten no-no on jpegs that only contain text.. in fact it shows what little thought was put into it) completely overlooks not only what you mentioned, but the fact that women can be god damned sexy and men can be god damned cavemen about it; even around the spires of academia. For the record, I'm a dude, I'm sick of when women maliciously pl…

I was really thrown by the maturity and level-headedness of your chosen position on the matter; particularly since this was technically a teen pregnancy. And then finally it dawned, from what you said at the end.. you're Canadian. And that means he's probably Canadian, too. As in, not American, where I don't ever see or read of a case where the mother in her early 20s will not be a complete bitch over the matter of agreed custody, and the father likely having his part of the guilt to share as we…

Might as well just post here what I was going to say. No individual is alone in this world, aside from the Tom Hanks character in Castaway. For better or for worse, there is no such thing as a single animal. That the irony of Rand preaching to a society this sense that individuals matter more than the society escapes her supporters demonstrates a profound mental density that is unfortunately all too common among this group of {ahem} individuals.
