The studies cited by the CDC purporting to show that circumcision reduces transmission of STIs were conducted in poor rural areas of sub-Saharan Africa over eight years ago. These studies have never been replicated elsewhere—let alone in the United States—and have no relevance to children or men in the developed world. The United States is one of the very few developed countries in the world where circumcision is still a thing.

I was referring to the circumcision research. You're trying to make it seem as if I'm against the research posted. I am not, I am merely stating that the CDC is not a reliable source of information due to their stance on other issues such as MGM. If you are an MRA and you consider MGM ok, I've got a bridge to sell you.

Anyone in a position of power above someone else should lose their jobs if they engage in sexual activities with their subordinate peers but it shouldn't entail prosecution.

Exactly. But we should as a society rebuild our unconscious hatred of teenage sexuality. People at 15 years old are more than capable of making sexual decisions, I know I was. We shouldn't be prosecuting people based on consensual sex, what the duck.

I came here to say the same thing. The age of consent really needs to change in this country. Even though people in power should always lose their jobs, I don't see why we should keep prosecuting and ruining people's lives for having sex with consenting adults. If the teenager in question was abused/forced it's a whole different ordeal but if it was consenting no reason for the D.A to throw the book at someone.

You can still be sued for child support even if unmarried if a child is present. If you own join assets, you will also have to split them 50-50. Some states also have common law marriage and domestic partnership law which allows a partner to also seek compensation in court just as a married couple would.
