Kind of assumes you have to be born smart though? It’s also not mutually exclusive with good like. And Intelligence is something you’re born with to a point but I think nurture has a big effect as well, esp if we just mean “doing well academically”. Ex: breathing and development issues lead to ADD, leads to a tough time in the school system, leads to a struggle in the work force, or people thinking you’re dumb. Could be a smart kid or a kid with a lot of potential but society and their health ha…

That might be what is suggests to you. Men are so quick to speak how women’s sex lives make them feel. So much less conversation from them on what their fellow men are up to or what it suggests... the way that this statistic is so enticing to everyone I think says more than the correlation itself does. Like they’ve been waiting around for a reason to throw out a big I told you so. there is a reason this is the black pill sub. But this ideology is spread in a lot of places. No one is making anyon…

I’m going to just ignore that rape part because rape should not be a consequence of seeking consensual sex and isn’t ultimately up to victims to prevent so I don’t think it belongs in the list. Sex inherently risks pregnancy. That could lead to an abortion. STDs yes also a risk. Those don’t have to be a big cause of divorce. Unless you get married because of a baby then get a divorce because you only got married for the kid. Drug use? Maybe from a partying life-style but that’s not causality eit…

That’s still not causality. Causality would be “having sex with more partners often leads to low self-esteem which weakens the marriage and leads to more divorce.”

So they know their slutty friends have picked bad partners? Any failed marriage could then be an example of that. Lots of marriages don’t last. Does that really limit the bad examples for people with fewer partners to look at to only the examples from people who’ve had a lot of partners?

Same question: how many people have you had sex with? Maybe you are biased. If I say a few, then I’m at least unbiased. If I said a lot, then I’d be at most a counter example of the trend. And either way you didn’t answer my question.

And how many were they supposed to have sex with?

Why would that be, if it were true and if you were to guess?

And for that matter, correlation is not causality.

Or it could be that some women have great self-esteem and just like having lots of sex. Does there have to be a sad, shady reason for women to like sex with multiple partners?

My hope and faith in society is so low rn.

Plot twist. Higher standards. They know what’s out there and don’t tolerate as much bullshit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
